Hi everyone, im new here and i just bought lg g flex 2.In the specs of the phone it says that it can record 60 fps at 1080p but it doesn't :/
I installed the update android 5.1.1 and it records at 30fps.Can anyone please help me "unlock" somehow 60fps?
I also ask for this in other topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/help/video-mode-108060fps-t3203892 but still no answer, so we don't have good camera for our flex and we don't have developers who can port xcam or camera from g4 with many settings and modes for our phone.

Hello, so yesterday I've bought this LG G Flex 2, because I expected a very good camera. Specifically I wanted to record videos at 60 fps. At phone specs it said that it could record at 1080p60fps, but there's no option to do so. So I've done a lot of research about this topic and found out about rooting, and modding a phone. On this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/development/sound-mod-camera-mod-t3264739 I found some kind of a file that in my opinion is what I'm looking for, but my device has to be rooted in order for this to work. Although I've tried rooting mine, it just didn't work. Phone is working perfectly, but nothing happened as I was following this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i22O9VHGi3k . Then I found out, that my android version is newer and I can hardly find a clear way to root my phone. So I'm hoping for someone to help me to get that 60fps fullhd recording. 720p60fps would be okay if the quality would be better than the 120fps slowmo, because that option records very pixelated and it's even worse in bad light conditions. My Android version is 5.1.1 and here are some numbers which mean nothing to me, but maybe they can be useful for you guys: H955 ; V15c-EUR-XX

My advice as a professional in the video and film world is using your phone for 4k video is really overkill unless you plan on showing your cat videos in a movie theatre or only to people who bought 4k TV's. Also I've noticed that using the camera in 4k causes the processor to overheat and shuts down the camera. The reality is unless you have a 4k TV or computer monitor you really won't be able to experience the whole 4k thing. Even the phone doesn't playback in 4k. Stick with 1080 you'll save space, your processor and it comes out beautifully on this camera.

Hello.
My LG G7 ThinQ Canadian Version has a problem with it's autofocus during video recording. When I am walking while recording, the autofocus seems to be always trying to focus on stuff and it is making that stuttering effect. Is it just me having this issue or does anyone have it also? I would really appreciate your response and comments. Thank you!
After nearly 5 years my lg g5 started showing signs of aging and i asked myself if i could upgrade the internal hardware of my phone. So headed on yt and found nothing about it, but i found some lg g8 thinq teardown footage and noticed that its wide angle camera it's basically the same size as the one in the lg g5. So can i put the lg g8 camera inside my lg g5?
Assuming that i can fit the new camera in the phone I think to answer this question i mey need to answer these questions first:
-do both camera have same connector?
-if yes,do i need driver for the new camera?
-are there any?
