Issues with Galaxy S6 (Unlocked)(Unbranded) - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am wanting to know why I can't find out anything on my phone, I've looked everywhere. Plus, I've tried to install rims and I always get a bootloop. I've never had this much problem with a phone. What is the issue with this one. I'm on G920T1UVU1AOCH Samsung Galaxy S6 (Unlocked, and Unbranded)

Whell, if You have the G920T, then it´s TMobile Version, then how it´s Unbranded?

[Q] What model should I buy for rooting convenience

Hey guys I've had a note 4 from T-Mobile for a while now and thought I'd get an s6 but I want to make sure I get the best model. For the note 4 the T-Mobile version was best just because it lacked the whole locked boot loader ect or at least that's what I've always thought, I'd like to use the phone on the AT&T network some advice would be great.
t-mobile again att is locked

Galaxy S6 SM-G920i or Galaxy S6 SM-G920F

Hi,
Have a LG G4 unlocked (H815) and i am looking to buy a S6 unlocked.
I have seen those 2 models G920i and SM-G920F and I have no idea which one is the best for the US.
I am on cricket and have no idea which one would be the best. Seems that both have the good LTE bands but i am not expert.
Can anyone please guide me and tell me which one you have and why? Thank you.
Anyone please? I would like to order but need to be sure which model I need to take. Thank you in advance.
I've had both on AT&T. Both worked great, but when i took them cross country, the F version seemed to have slightly better LTE coverage.

Go with the F version, in my opinion it is better as you would be able to use Samsung Pay with that and not with the I version!

Flashing SM-G955N with SM-G955F to avoid bloatware

I have recently bought a Galaxy s8+ from Kogan Australia which turned out to be a Korea Telecom edition with SM-G955N on it. Our other s8+ in the household is a SM-G955F bought directly from Samsung Australia which is quite clean and free of bloatware, however, the recent gray import-buy comes with all sorts of KT provider crap.
I have been away from rooting and flashing game from since my Galaxy SII and tried to have a quick read and follow some guides like this one to see if I can flash an Australian XSA firmware on the SM-G955N device, however, again and again came across this warning telling me,
Before downloading, make sure your device has the exact model code SM-G955N

Firstly, what would be the implications of flashing a SM-G955F over a SM-G955N device?
And if that will risk to brick and turn the new phone to a cool looking paper weight, what options I have to still stay with Samsung Stock FW and to get rid of these bloatwares? This is mainly because I am not going to be the user for this phone and I want it to be as close to the vanilla device and I would've be more than happy to order this one off Samsung as well if they offered the blue color in their preorder. So please be gentle with your answers as I am already heartbroken
If its exynos just root it and delete what bloat you want.

You can actually remove a bunch of bloatware without root using Package Disabler Pro Samsung.
I'm not entirely sure about it but the SM-G955N is 128GB and without the proper PIT file in Odin, you may lose storage space. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm using an SM-G955N and the only carrier bloat that makes this device different that is activated, is T Roaming in Settings, and the Band LTE bootanimation/shut down animation, with Korean bootloader and recovery. All the other bloat was disabled without rooting and Knox 0x0

G955-FD in Canada question

My LTE doesn't seem to work properly or at all on my new S8+. My phone is not yet rooted and don't want to root until I figure out what issue I have. Judging from reading some forums, it seems it's my CSC but I can't make heads or tails about it, nor do I understand what the CSC is. I just get a headache reading about it lol.
I ordered the international version online (FD) and I'm with Virgin Mobile (Sister company to Bell Mobility) and it seems like my phone has crap service in places it should have undoubtedly full LTE+ speed.
I first noticed this with my S6 (G920-W8). When I rooted it and used the xtrestolite rom, it gave my phone model the international version (F) and never actually gave it a second thought until I upgraded. When I unrooted the S6 and put the stock rom back in, I gave the phone to the wife and I just recently noticed she has full LTE service where I previously overlooked. Now my S8+ has the prior issue the rooted S6 had. lol.
What is it about the international that makes the LTE not work properly and is there a way to correct this? And if possible, explained to me in dummy terms what the issue is and why? Thanks in advance

Yeah I'm in Alberta. I know at the bare minimum that it's software related but I just can't figure it out. Because like I said, as soon as I unrooted the S6, it had full LTE service in places it previously didn't. I'm assuming it's gotta be narrowed down to what the international uses. And I've heard mentions of "CSC" but that's a complicated concept for me.

Just updating..
Got a new SIM card installed and it seems to have helped. But I'll only know for sure when I'm back at work.
Do you know how I can change the 4G icon to say LTE instead? And I'm still curious about the CSC and if mine can be flashed with a Canadian one?

I dont think you can flash a CAN csc in odin but i think some of the custom roms allow csc choice on install.
My FD is from panama and displays LTE not 4g....

Damn. I can't remember where my FD was from.
I successfully rooted it and not sure what I did but I got caught in the FAP lock and unable to boot and I'm trying to find the stock rom. Going through the list on sammobile, I'm sure mine ended with the QG5 but can't remember the country.
You think all of these would be the same so long as the PDA matches? Looking through the S8 box, I have the foreign manuals that say printed in vietnam. lol

I figured lol.
Finally got my stuff sorted out, out of bootloop, installed the virgin csc, actually 100% fixed my reception issue.
But I'm hoping you can answer one final question. My phone is now rooted comfortably, got all my settings and apps back up which took forever considering I had to do it 3 times lol.
What's with the security log agent telling me
'Unauthorized actions have been detected... reboot to fix'.
I'm 100% that this is what locked me up last time in that FRP lock or whatever. Which is what forced me to reflash the stock rom. Do you know how to rid of this?
Is this completely normal after rooting the S8? Never had this before with my S5 or S6 so it's a little scary considering I don't want to get locked up again lol.

Oh Yeah....thats an annoying massage.
Just freeze the securitylog apk with titanium BU or something and it will go away.
Frp lock is something different.

Thanks man. Trial and error to get rid of that message honestly.
Any idea what's the frp lock from?
And just curious what do you think would happen if I let android security fix this unauthorized issue and reboot itself?
