Hello Guys,
Im busy on a new reactivation bypass on the Samsung S6 Lollipop 5.1.1. When the installation menu pops up after a hard reset i can manage to get into the phone, this i can do:
Acces play store and install apps.
Acces setting menu.
Open google now to lauch apps.
I cannot add a samsung account when i press settings and add account. I can add google account firefox account etc. It looks like permissing to samsung account is disabled.
Maybe we can get to a solution from here? any helpers?

Is there a Samsung Account listed in settings already? Does it ask you to sign into one while trying to set up the device?
Is this a stock device or a custom rom?

I am attempting to unroot the phone. I think I have it done, however, I am having troubles with setting up my Gmail Account and my Samsung Accounts to Update the Phone. Am I missing something?
It has the Original "Marketplace" and can not update to the Google Playstore (unable to setup Account) to have this installed.
I am at a loss as to what I need to do to correct this. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Hello everyone, i'm trying to solve a problem that I'm having with the Google now on the new nexus 5. The slide from left to right option on the home page to open the google now is not available on the nexus 5. I have uninstalled the updates, reinstalled the updates, cleaned the data, removed and re-add the account in the Google Settings - Search - Account & privacy - Google Account, but still i'm not having the option of google now and google cards to enable it. How i can fix this issue and enable the google now? Have in mind that the location services inside the location-settings says not available in Cyprus. is it this the reason or takes time to enable the google now from google because the gmail that is on the nexus 5 was on gingerbread phone before?
thank you
Have you tried long pressing on the home screen for the options and selecting Settings and enabling through there? I'm not sure about your location settings but this should enable Google Now.

yes and also is the same to go from google settings-search etc
Are you a Google apps user? If so you need to enable Google now in the Google apps administration.
Have you changed your launcher? Google Now (slide from left) is only available on the stock launcher. (I don't think anyone has created a launcher with this option yet. (If so please share the info)

It's a Google service - you need a Google account. Create a Gmail account and log in to phone with that (or play store at least) and it should work - otherwise I would try the Google support forums.

im using a gmail on the nexus 5
From the home screen, tap the google search icon (or aka the google now bar)
you should see something that says get google now
tap it and follow the steps and select your account
i had to do that on my nexus 5
I think people are trying to give you options to enable it from it's defaulted disabled state. It first needs to be activated (available) and since it isn't in your country then you can't do it via the normal methods. Your IP address is what enables or disables it based on country laws.

when i had the galaxy nexus and i was in Cyprus it was working fine. also on my nexus 5 is working fine as well
Did you also have the latest Google Search on your phone then too? Are they side by side? It might have been disabled since an older update especially being built into the phone now vs something you manually download and install.
Have you tried removing your Google account and setting it up again? It happened to me once (when I was setting up the phone without logging in to my Google account), and that was the only way to get Google Now back.

thanks you all . i have tried everything that you said, before i create the post. i will try to try what rames said. thanks anyway to all!!
So I have 3 different Google accounts on my phone. Personal, work, and one that is shared with multiple people in the office for testing. I would like to block the phone from showing up in Android Device Manager for the shared account so as not to publicize my whereabouts to people that I work with. I would like to keep it enabled though for my personal account so I can actually use it if need be.
I already tried turning off location reporting for the shared account. No dice. Also from the "My Devices" page I can uncheck "Show in menus" which does make it not show in the Android Device Manager map dropdown list. Obviously this is a problem though since someone can just go check that box again and it shows my phone location.
The phone is rooted so I have access to be able to do whatever I need to so I can block it if possible. Any ideas?

there should be a option to activate or deactivate each phone im trying to find more info hang in im doing the research for you

try this out \
You can sort of do this - rename it, (I changed mine to "OLD") and turn off the "visibility in menu" so that it doesn't show up any more in the Android Device Manager. You can do this in the Google Play Store when you click on the gear cog on the right (setting)

Yeah that is the thing I already tried. It does remove it from being visible in device manager, but anyone from work can log into the play store on their computer and just check the box back off to be able to track the phone. I feel like this would have to be a device level change to stop it from reporting on that account or else a co-worker could just reactivate it.

is that phone on a company phone plan? if not then they will need you google account email and password to change that
There are 3 accounts on the phone. The one in question is a shared account to use for App Testing from the play store. That shared account, everyone has the username and password for.

you could turn the location history and all gps features off or before logging out of the account delete your traces off the phone

Based on what I have found the only way to do it is to remove the phone from the account. There is no work around at the device level that will allow me to keep the phone linked to the account, but block ADM while still using ADM with my personal account.
Looks like Cerebus will be the answer to this question. I might look into XPrivacy or something like that with Xposed to try and block it.
Android Device Manager Shared Account Fix
I was having this same problem myself with a shared account. Here is how I disabled Android Device Manager (ADM) on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4) for the shared account.
1. Open settings
2. Go to the Accounts Tab
3. Click Google
4. Click the account that you don't want ADM running on
5. Disable "Sync Google Play services" and "Sync Location Reporting and Location History"
6. Jump up and down for joy that no one can track you on the shared account :victory:

Hi RedRoosterFarm. Both options are not available on my device. Running android marshmellow 6.0. Could you help double check if it's still available on yours?
I think i'm in the same boat as everyone here. I don't want my personal device to be lockable/erasable/trackable from my work google account. Even if the account is not shared, the google apps administrator still has the option of resetting your password with a new one etc. Not that i'm doing anything nefarious. I'm just a paranoid rabbit

Those options are gone in Android M and N. So is removing the account the only solution? I need mail, calendar, contacts, hangouts from work account but don't want them to track, block or erase my personal phone.
i need help i sold my s8 plus i factory reset it.the guy just emailed me and he cant enter his gmail account it says to use the gmail account associated with phone.any help would be great
I don't think this feature is available on google service but it is available on Appleid service
Anyways try going to google settings on your android phone>>google account>swipe to security tab>scroll to devices>manage device.
See if you can delete account on a device
Sent from my M5 mini using Tapatalk
If you factory reset through recovery mode, you have to enter your gmail I'd and password (this will not save any of your mail information or dosnt sync). There is no option to delete Google account before turning on you phone.
