Hi
I have flashed :
Model SM-G920F Model name GALAXY S6
Build date Fri, 25 Sep 2015 07:07:03 +0000
Product code XEF PDA G920FXXU3COI9 CSC G920FOXA3COJ1
But with this rom Spo2 and Stress meters are not woring anymore ( I need to mesure my stress )
I would like to go to any other working ROM for example BTU, XEH, BUT with ODIN, I went to fail with these older roms.
I have tried, BTU, XEH, and latest Russion, but with no luck - all goes to a fail in odin ....except XEF....
Any Idea, how to go back 1 step backwards?
Thanks a lot.
p.s.: i have checked with phone info,
- the available CSC codes are: BTU, CPW, DBT, ITV, KOR, NEE,XEF,XEO with this flashed XEF FW,
- my original CSC was TPH...now original CSC is XEF.....
can I flash XEH with any luck?
thanx again

Evening all,
Am from Cyprus and my original CSC was CYO. Tried the newest French and uk updates which i flashed via odin (got them from sammobile) and although i was satisfied by the updates i decided to go back to my original firmware and wait for the OTA to arrive. Got this from samsung-updates: CYO-G920FXXU1AOCV-20150409223200
Device Name : Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925F
Device Model : SM-G925F
Region Country : Cyprus (cytamobile vodafone)
Firmware Version : G925FXXU1AOCV
OS Name : Lollipop
OS Version : 5.0.2
Date Update : 2015-03-28
Region Code : CYO
Change List : 4497415
flashed it via odin and now my CSC is TPH (PORTUGAL)
Original CSC TPH
Firmware TPH
Active SCS TPH
CSC Country ISO PT
Any ideas? I downloaded the CY firmware from three different locations and got same results.
Thanks
Well I rooted phone via ping-pong and used phone info app to change csc to cyo. Then wiped data from recovery and flashed the cyo firmware again via Odin. Now my csc is correct but in csc country it says greece. Am confused really. The firmware I have is clearly for my region which is cyprus
If the firmware is multi-csc, try *#272*IMEI# and choose your CSC.

Hi, yes the firmware is multicsc and i tried that. CSC says CYO but csc country is wrong. It should have been CYprus instead of Greece
that's so stupid thing. I have the same problem with my Samsung and can't set the right CSC from the Rom file. It really sucks... any help will be useful for me...
Hi folks
I bought S7 from Vodafone Ireland. And I would expect it to use VDI-regioned firmware (but I did not notice what was the original region, my fault). I rooted it - and OTA upgrades do not work for me any more. SmartSwitch keeps upgrading with XEU region. Why? Should I bother? Should I (how?) use VDI-regioned firmware? How does SmartSwitch decide which region to use (and how to change that)?
I would like to understand what's going on...
VDI is Vodafone Ireland region
XEU is generic UK/Ireland region
Any comments are appreciated.

Hi mate
Most roms are multi CSC and when that is the case and you flash with CSC instead of home_csc (odin) a default CSC is applied in your case seems to be XEU, if you use home _csc you keep whatever csc you had
Should not make a big difference , you change your CSC to whatever you want but you need to be root
I understand that it should not matter much. But still...
What I do not understand is when my CSC changed from VDI to XEU? Why did SmartSwitch do that? I am root. How would I change it back to VDI?
I look at the Phone INFO app, it says:
Original CSC Code: VDI
Firmware CSC Code: XEU
Active CSC Code: XEU
I would like to have VDI/VDI/VDI if it is possible...
PS I do not think I ever flashed with full csc. At least it seems SmartSwitch is always doing home_csc. If so, it means the original CSC was XEU, right?

Hi
I would think so XEU was probably the original CSC
you can change your CSC but you need to be root , check here

I have a dual SIM S7 SM-G930FD. I have been reading the forum and I would like to ask some question to be sure.
Device information:
AP: G930FXXS1APGC
CP: G930FXXU1APEQ
CSC: G930FOJV1APF1
Original CSC code: XSG
Active CSC code: XSG
Available CSC codes: ACR, AFG, .....etc., etc. …., XSG
CSC Country: UAE/AE (United Arab Emirates)
1- Can I change CSC with *#272*IMEI#?
2- With my actual CSC code, how fast are sent the OTA updates? Which CSC is better considering OTA?
3- Considering less bloatware which CSC code should I use?
4- S Planner has a Islamic calendar. I would like to change it.
5- Which is a clean and safe source to obtain S7 firmware?
Thanks

I will copy & paste my reply from sammobile
1 - Not anymore. That code worked on 2.3.6 or so on samsung phones S2. When they changed it to 4.0.1 it did not work anymore. u NEED root to change CSC when u have a multi CSC rom
2 - No clue here, it is random usually. But XEU got last 2 months the quickest updates
3 - XEU - Uk/Ireland . Single CSC, no bloat at all. I use it too on my G930FD
4 - U will get european calendar with XEU CSC
5 - Sammobile or SamFirm tool
as far as i know, US variants are not Exynos based. All U.S. Galaxy S7 are Snapdragon based.
So you can't replace firmware. Usually csc changing works with firmware overwriting. (nand erase on odin.)
I don't recommend erasing nand in Odin.

Thanks Bro!
My device is SM-G920F(SEE) yesterday I flashed France Nougat Rom via Odin
Today I flashed my original South East Europe firmware from Sammobile 7.0
But my csc is TPH and I want to make it SEE like before
Please help me
S6 IS not network locked or rooted
TPH and SEE csc are part of multicsc OXX, so flashing SEE firmware will keep TPH csc. You can try to flash XSG firmware or another firmware that isn't included in OXX multicsc then try to flash back SEE and see if csc changes
Thanks I will try that and write my result :-:
I have rooted S6 with CF AutoRoot and csc changed by app csc changer root, now my knox is 0x1 and is there anyway i can make it 0x0 again???my waranty has enden i need it just for me please help
