Need safestrap help with att note3 - General Questions and Answers

I have and att note3 with NC2 build. Busybox, superuser, and safestrap hlteatt-nc2-3.75 is installed. The phone is also rooted. Safestrap recovery is installed. The problem is that when the phone is rebooted whether manually or through safestrap I never get the splash screen for safestrap. You get the samsung screen with the custom logo at the bottom and then the phone goes to the normal bootup. Any suggestions?

[Q] Cant flash and overwrite with stock rom on M919

I need help
I have a Tmobile Galaxy s4 M919.
After the 4.3 update, i am not able to completely flash a stock rom in order to have my phone working again.
Tried root, tried CWM ot TWRP, Odin stock, Kies, but every attempt got stuck for ever on the boot logo screen with blue letters on the left hand up corner saying recovery booting.
I can't access download mode but not recovery.
Only onceworked, and i could flash thru KIES and the download screen after that shown:
System Official Samsung
Binary Official.
After that i start to have an issue with SIMCARD non detected, and had to restart and never worked again.
Seems like Knox is dealing with custom rom or bootloader and keeps on bootlogo screen.
Any help will n]be very appreciated.

Best thing to do is use odin on your pc and get the stock rom from samsung or another source, then completly flash it so it will wipe out you phone completly and then reinstall stock. This happened to my m919. If you need more help on how to completly replace the stock rom using odin there are plenty of videos that show you step by step. You just soft bricked your phone so it's fixable.

I have flashed several times via odin and kies, but everytime i still with Binary Official and System Custom.
Seems like the flash does not overwrite the kies bootloader, thats why i am stuck on boot revovery.
Once it worked, the system and binary became official, then i flashed knox free stock rom via recovery.
As i told, i can acces download but not recovery.
Does anyone know any knox free stock rom flashable via odin???

Damn FastBoot Mode! Not bricked... but stuck.

Hey guys! So I've had a Note, a Note 2, and now have the TMobile LG G2. All of which, I've rooted, ROMed and had my fun with, but for a week, this issue has brought my fun to a screeching halt. I hope someone can help.
I just rooted my G2 while in 4.2.2, intending to install a KitKat ROM while maintaining root access. Looking for a quick way to add custom recovery, I backed up my stock recovery using Flashify, and also using it, I installed the latest TWRP for my phone. After installation I got a black screen that says:
[830]fastboot mode started
[880]udc_start()
and I have no options. Thankfully I can just hold power to reboot my phone normally so I'm not softbricked. But I get the same screen any time I boot into recovery. And when I restored my stock recovery through flashify I got the black screen with the android mascot on his back with the red exclamation mark. I tried flashing TWRP, and Philz through Flashify and I get the "fastboot" screen again. Can someone please help? Thanks so much in advance.

[Q] phone wont boot after rom installation using safestrap

I have a verizon galaxy s4 sch-i545 4.3 mk2. By using safestrap 3.71 I did a backup and then installed hyperdrive rls 10. Everything going fine until it says complete and need to reboot. It goes off but doesnt come back on. I can go back into safestrap by taking battery out and restarting. I know it says it takes a while to reboot first time and I gave it all night and nothing. I can switch from rom slot 1 back to stock and reboot to system and eveything goes back to normal. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. Also I installed kernal it says I need. Thanks in advance.

[SOLVED] Unable to root - Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING

Phone: Samsung Sprint S5 GM-900P
System: Windows 7
Build: KTU84P.G900PVPU1ANK4 (4.4.4)
Recovery Screen shows:
Android system recovery <3e>
KTU84P.G900PVPU1ANK4
Additional files available/used:
Odin v3.07
CF-Auto-Root-kltespr-kltespr-smg900p.tar.md5
philz_touch_6.57.8-klte.tar
ERROR shown after reboot into recovery:
RECOVERY BOOTING
Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warrenty Bit : recovery
I tried following the directions from this thread:
ODIN Installation (detailed)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51421067&postcount=2
Everything worked as I thought it should, but the phone hangs at the recovery screen with above error.
I flash phil's recovery, and the phone will then boot up as normal, but SuperSU reports unable to inject SU binary
I dont care about tripping knox, just looking for a stock build with root (recovery and system) added.
I have rooted my Epic, S2, S3 & S4 with no issues, and as far as I can tell, everything runs as it should, the phone just hangs after the reboot at the recovery screen and never starts the rooting process in the recovery.
I figure I am either missing something simple, or got an update that root wont take with.
Anyone have any tips as to what I am missing and/or doing wrong?
Did you try flashing them from a powered off state, ie battery pull or power off then booting to download mode? That's an essential step in each odin flash

Yes I did, but I guess I can always try again to be 100%, thanks. :good:
I actually have been flashing for years, that is why I am so puzzled, as everything went how it is supposed to, it is just the rooting process does not start once the phone reboots into recovery.
I watched the vid to see if I just dropped a step, it all matched, but where the phone boots into recovery and asks to root, just never seems to kick off.
You can also try download supersu zip 2.36 then odin custom recovery and flash supersu then boot up. That's what I did on nk4

This helped... I got it fixed!!
The version of ODIN I had, had auto-reboot checked, and grayed out so you could not uncheck.
I ODIN'ed philz_touch_6.57.8-klte.tarphilz
when ODIN showed the block with finished, and before the phone restarted, I pulled the battery (had back open) & the cable and didnt let boot
I ODIN'ed CF-Auto-Root-kltespr-kltespr-smg900p.tar.md5
Pulled battery/cable (no booting!!), then booted directly into Recovery
Waited, it came up into custom recovery, I selected reroot, and BAM!!
Glad to have helped!

^This did it for me, holy crap!
I followed the root procedure to a 'T' like you and it would get stuck exactly where yours got stuck.
Seems to me that the stock recovery after rooting is what may be the culprit if this happens???
Either way now I can get everything going hopefully and remove the bloat, some of the nag notifications, etc.
Thanks
I tried these exact steps and I am still getting errors.

If autoroot doesn't work for you go and download supersu 2.37 zip (Google it) Odin custom recovery pull battery, boot to recovery and flash supersu them you should be good to go.

I ended up flashing the NK5 4.4.2 ROM in ODIN then used towelroot.
So I followed the same steps and nothing happened it just froze at the screen on boot.
I was using 4.4.4 stock rom. I fixed mine by installing philz or some other recovery software.
I went into the setting under advance in philz recovery and ran reroot.
It rebooted and I installed supersu and it worked perfect after that.
Hope someone else can get theres to work but I think the problem is with 4.4.4 that people and me didnt read that it doesnt work properly and you have to take extra steps.

After flashing custom ROM, Phone does not want to enter Recovery mode.

I have a samsung galaxy s3 (canada) which i installed twrp for d2att (at&t) and thats how i flashed the custom ROM without any problems as seen on another thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2624413
But now when i try to get back onto custom recovery, it shows the blue text at the top left corner of the screen, flashes the samsung logo, but then the screen goes blank. it is only after i release the power + home + volume up that it goes back and just boots normally. I thought that it might of got uninstalled while flashing the custom ROM, so since i forgot to get gapps (to use playstore and find useful apps) i used odin v3.0.9 to flash the custom recovery. But i did everything but it still does not want to enter custom recovery.
Can anyone help me please?
