Custom ROMs and Clockword Mod for Tecno Phones such as Tecno H5

Hello to Developers,
Having searched the internet, I have not found any custom rom for Tecno phones and applicable clockword mod for tecno phones. With Tecno Phones being common in Africa especially West and East Africa why not contribute to this make and models of the phones.
I for one am using Tecno H5 and would love to have CUSTOM ROM

I sense you naija anyway, are you still having issues on your phone ? simply google how to backup using CWM for your backup

thats untrue. we've created custom ROms and clockworkmod for most Tecno phones

Hello. I have a Kitkat themed rom for Tecno H5 just incase your phone got bricked, you can download this ROM and flash it via CWM Recovery. If you need them just send me an email to [email protected] requesting for the links. You can also check out other Great ROM's like tecno p5, tecno r7 and many others. Go to androiddeployments.blogspot.com. Also Alcatel ROM's are available.

-Install TWRP recovery.
-Boot into recovery mode
-Making sure that you have up to 3 or 4GB of storage available. Select BACKUP.
-TWRP will backup your data to a folder named TWRP and you can recover it from the same folder.
NOTE: Backup made with TWRP cannot be recovered with CWM and Vice versa

Anyone with the ROM for techno DP10A tablet, mine has been bricked and cannot access even recovery, would like to flash it with sp flash tool.

If you brick your phone and the last resort is to use a custom rom. For TECNO USERS, Check this out.
Note that using any of these roms voids your warranty and proceed with extreme caution. Main feature of Clockworkmod is comprehensive backup and restore to handle technical disaster. It should be noted that before proceeding to install CWM your device need to be rooted.

Any links or some unofficial builds? I can't find any but maybe you can do! Please Help

Does anyone had install a xposed installer ....????? Is it working fine

Kingroot worked perfectly but the OTA updates can't be received anymore as it says the device needs to be unrooted to get that! And I really dunno what are the company guys upto? There is no sign of Marshmallow so far and I am gettin skeptical as days pass by. Note 3 Lite is a beast for its price for sure but come on, it needs more. Much more to ride in the Android world. Marshmallow would be the least thing to get as an update to stay on the level of all those Android N enthusiasts out there!
Hope Coolpad won't disappoint like Micromax or Karbonn!

TL;DR
Use KingRoot to root, then replace KingUser with SuperSU by help of SuperSUMe. KingUser is a piece of crap that will steals your phone information.

Frankly speaking i am not able to understand wht r u telling ....bt i hd rooted my coolpad note 3 lite by kingroot .....bt how to supersu and xposed installer ....is there a risk of bootloop ?????

• Install and configure SuperSUMe to replace KingUser with SuperSU.
• Installing Xposed is full of risk, especially if your firmware isn't compatible; it could end you with bootloop.
By the way, you could use Google Translate to translate what I wrote here to Hindi or your local language.

I rooted my Coolpad note 3 lite with Kingoroot successfully, but i am not able to recieve software updates even After unrooting. ??

@jashnm Bro u need to flash stock ROM of coolpad note 3 lite by SP flash tool nd other procedure .....just go to the coolpadfourm site or search it on Google how to flash it ....plzzz make a backup of nvram nd data ......then enjoy all the updates

Hey, you will not be able to update the mobile even after Unrooting..... Bcuz i m suffering from the same problem and unrooted the phone, but still no sign of update.

No SuperSUMe app doesn't works. To replace kinguser with SuperSU, termainal method should be used. It is safe and fast.

Guyzzz u just need to flash it by SP flash tool nd other procedure ....( AND YOUR MOBILE will BE UNROOTED while the ROM is of factory version u need to download all updates

Download the APK on Xposed for LP/MM or Xposed Installer by dvdandroid thread and install it. Make sure you've enabled Unknown sources option via Settings > Security.

Can anybody Help to port a custom recovery for MT6735 Devices . The old methods of porting custom recovey for MTk devices are not working I seriously need a custom recovery.
My device is Xolo Era 4K (Same Chipset MT6735 , Same Reso 720x1280) . Please tell me how can i port coolpad note 3 lite recovery for my device . I can provide you my stock recovery if any good soul is willing to help.

CAUTION::-
Do not root your phone with Kingroot. You won't be able to receive any future updates even if you unroot your phone.
I think there is some type of temper protection bit set in stock OS and it won't let you install updates later.

I am using a Yureka Note(YU 6000) which has the stock ROM which is Android Lollipop, can you please get me and others Android Marshmallow because we want to unlock more of our smartphone's features and UI. For me I just want to upgrade on Android M it doesn't matter which use interface you guys develop whether it is Color OS, Fun OS, etc.

I have also using yu6000 and getting stucked in Android

There is not much resources aboutyu yureka note on Internet. So there is no way to get a stock recovery or rom.Anyone has pc can easily make TWRP for yu yureka note.just by few simple step s with easy magic installer.use this guide. After that backup TWRP via flashify and go to Android data com.con.... Flashify like folder and get TWRP .img and post on xda via drive.
Note. I don't have pc , otherwise I'll make it for​ you.
If anyone has flashed wrong recovery as like recovery for yu yureka there are unable to do factory data reset orany action.i have stock recovery for yu yureka note , below is drive link.flash it via flashify app on play store.

If you get TWRP please share....
You can use flashfire instead but it not a solution.
I have also heard that Android with same kernel version has same custom recovery.you can search TWRP for .... Yu6000 kernel version (in about phone).Then he gets like pixel XL TWRP recovery.He can download and flash it with flashify.plse make TWRP.........

After rooting u can install Xposed modules which can transform it(not fully) to nougat or Oreo but it eats lots of battery and sometimes the device lags. I can say so because I have done this, customization is really good in Xposed modules, u can literally customize ur settings, lock screen, reconfigure volume buttons, expand the volume profile, change the navbar(I changed it to S8 navbar).

Xposed module sometime soft brick the phone thats why iam not installing any xposed framework this cause phone laggy. Can you develop rom for it.

Hardware is the problem it's not supporting marshmallow and no chance of nougat.

This is Dolby Atmos. I have installed it on my YU6000 after rooting, it will be stable even after unrooting. Just flash it through TWRP. Uninstall zip file is also with it.

But there are all other phone which have same mediatek mt 6753t processor for other phones roms are available. I saw on internet that android o will come for this device at the end of 2017 or early 2018. Please check.
