First let me start with this is my first posting. I have read over 100 post relating to the Gear 2 Neo and Watch Styler. I also have a Samsung Galaxy S6. I have not been able to find anything definitive on whether you can install Watch Styler on the Gear 2 Neo. I have seen a couple of people who got it installed, a few that got it installed on their phone but not their Gear 2 and a bunch of people who say I don't have a galaxy but it loaded on my Note.
Can someone give me the correct answer to the question of whether Watch Style can be loaded on the gear 2 Neo running with Galaxy S6? Forgive my frustration but I have installed and reinstalled this app about 40 times trying everything I have read in different posts.
Barring that it can't be loaded on the Gear 2 Neo, does anyone know how I could download some of the watch faces from Gearfaces and get them to install on my Gear 2 Neo? I have tried everything I have found but nothing worked.

I have my Samsung Gear 2 paired with my Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and when I go into the app store it only shows around 55 apps. I took it into Best Buy where I bought both and talked with the rep there. His S3 paired with a Gear 2 Neo showed all of the apps. Is there any workaround or fix for this? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the Galaxy app store and the Gear manager, re-flashing the S5, and factory resetting the Gear 2. Any help you guys can offer would be very appreciated!

Load up a build.prop editor from the play store if your phone is rooted and change the phone model to a G900T which is a regular S5 , there are a few threads out there covering how to do this. For some crazy reason Samsung hasn't figured out that their app store sucks really bad and it's apps will work for Gear 1 and Gear 2 with all versions of the note 2,3's and all versions of their S4/S5's. It seems the store checks to see the exact phone model and if the developer of the apps hasn't listed your exact model, then it won't show. Samsung has become a lost cause. Luckily for us though we have XDA and some work arounds. Good luck.

Okay, so towelroot doesn't currently support the S5 Active, or so it told me when I mashed the "make it ra1n" button. Looking for another rooting option.

There is no device called galaxy gear 2 . also unless developer say so the answer is no.
no they will not work.. im not really sure what the guy about me was talking about but roms that are created for the gear 2 and different then those created for the gear 2 neo..
R380 = galaxy gear 2
R381 = galaxy gear 2 neo
I was wondering if anyone has tired to port Gear S apps to Gear 2 because Gear S is based on 2.2.1.4 and Gear 2 is on 2.2.1.2 and a lot of the apps on gear 2 wont working with GS 6.
u should had posted this in q/a , anyway it is impossible as there is alot of different things btw the gear 2 and the gear s like bigger screen apps , curved screen apps , and ofc sdk version

You have to install 3 apk from google play:
1. samsung gear
2. samsung gear plugin
3. samsung accessories service
It works with my Xiaomi Mi4.
Hello, I have a gear fit 2. But I can't do anything with it! I've got a Galaxy A01 phone and it keeps telling me the Galaxy wearable app is not compatible with my phone. I can't use wearable widgets, watch face apps, anything! Can anyone help me please???
