I just got a sensation from t mobile and it's come with this rom:
Software number : 1.29.531.2
Basehand version : 10,42.9007.00p_10.11.9007.15m
Can i upgrade to a newest offical rom? If yes, what is recomended?

I dont need any tmobile services,cus She isnt a carrier in my country.

FFS, no you can't flash any other ROM except the T-Mobile versions, or which you're on the latest

Model Number: ST27a
Android Version: 2.3.7
Kernel Version: [email protected]#1
Build Number: 6.0.B.3.184

Some one knows if this post steps also works for ST27a model? (the post refer to ST27i)
Is there a way to just root the phone without flash the kernel (or this is not possible)?
The thing is I want to root the phone, but I don’t want to lose the 3G capability for my region if I do the steps for ST27i.

No, the only other ROM you can flash to the G930V is the G930U ROM which is unbranded
