So, I want to have a portable speaker, but what is the best speaker to buy up to 100€(euros)(can't say price in dollars). I was watching a Samsung Level Box Mini, but I dunno.... maybe in the market are better speakers...
What do I need from speaker: Bluetooth connectivity, Rechargeable battery, LOUDNESS (very loud speakers). Battery life isn't that interesting, but I want it up to 5hrs.
Maybe someone has or had experience with Samsung Level Box Mini? Or had an another speaker that would be loud and from normal company (like Samsung, Philips, Beats by Dre,etc)?
I bought a small used speaker from a shop near me
its loud as hell even though its small and has no name on it :v but its working on my s5 mini
i bought it for 8$
Nice catch!
So, no opinions or recommendations?
Bose Soundlink Mini is by far the best portable Bluetooth box on the market right now!
Many dislike Bose for their poor price/quality ratio - but with this box they just destroyed everything. 10 of 10 would buy again only to have two of them.
But is there any selling this speaker in about 100€ range?
What about picking this speaker in used condition(because it's less price-y)?
I have my bose speaker for over 2 years now. The speaker only looks slightly used, due to the extremly stable case. When you lift it, you will know the reason.
The battery is still like it was on the first day (about 5-8 hrs playtime on high volume and bt connection).
I only encountered some connection problems, when you connect too many devices to speaker - but that can be fixed easily by pressing the BT button for 5 sec for deleting the connected device history.
Trust me, with this speaker you cant do anything wrong. with this speaker you will be the king of portable soundspeakers... And no, the speaker should cost about 150€ (i bought mine for 250€ though..)
I bought these http://www.pure.com/wireless-speakers/jongo-s3x/graphite for 80$, great quality overall, wifi and bluetooth connection + AUX at the back + built-in battery.
I have a Libratone Zipp Mini, the sound is incredible, beter than my bose soundlink, andere it's cheaper, it has wifi, bleutooth aptx, aux, it has an own app where I can change the sound, like outdoor or tabel or floor. I can also change the sound Dynamics it processes. It has more than 60 watts, really loud, with a good sound mod on your phone it goes even louder without distortion because of the 2 built in amplifiers, 360 degree sound, bass is nice but not so hard bass, I like that. Battery is 5-7 hours. I picked it up at the Apple premium resellers Calles "Switch" in belgium for 250 euro's, but I think it's cheaper now. Yeah not your price range bit as an musician Igove some advice: you can better use your money for a more pricey but much better speaker with good sound. I listen Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Rory Gallagher, Jeff Buckley, John Frusciante but also electronic music, it just sounds so good. Greets Beau (very long post btw hehe )
Anker Sound Core
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-SoundCore-Playtime-Bluetooth-Portable/dp/B016XTADG2
Can't say anything about those speakers previously mentioned but without a shadow of a doubt the Anker Sound Core is the best for battery life, which if you think about it is the only reason you are getting a portable speaker. If people make the argument about better sound, that is not relevant because the soundcore doesn't sacrifice sound quality at the price of battery life. I've got the first generation Anker Sound core sitting in front of me right now, I got it in October of 2018, it's now the 16th of April 2019 and I can recall charging it possibly 3 times?
I have used it for some outdoor things at the beach over summer (southern hemisphere) and Christmas, charged it over that period. Used it on and off at medium to high volumes, certainly has a battery life that far exceeds any other device I have owned. It will outlast pretty much any thing else, while still sounding good, having no distortion that I can hear at max volume, being small enough to put in your jacket pocket.
To put it in better terms, unless you leave it running with music on it, you can be fairly sure that when you do have to charge it you won't remember the last time you charged it. That's how long it lasts. Makes sense too because anker makes batteries primarily, so that technology is ported over to their speakers. All batteries don't seem to be equal. Other portable speakers are made by speaker companies who try their hand at battery manufacturing, whereas Anker is a battery company which tried it's hand at portable speaker making. That's the only reason I can see for such a good product. Because of this, I'd say that the superior battery know how of the companys product allows the speakers in the portable speaker to be better arranged electronically than competitors speakers who have less thorough knowledge of batteries.
All I can say is that I was impressed by it, and so were other people online.
In reality nothing this small should produce this type of sound. I have been buying hi-fi for around 45 years. Heard most of it and owned rather a lot of it. In hearing the Bose I had to take a step back and take a double look. I am well aware modern production methods have made massive leaps forward in technology however there is only so much one can do with a speaker.
In the case of this Bose it appears it almost defies the physics of sound reproduction. All things taken into account this speaker is without a doubt one of those that is ground breaking.
One MUST be realistic this is not a 25,000€ home speaker stereo pair of speakers driven by a source and amplified by audio costing tens of thousands. This is a tiny PORTABLE oblong made from Aluminium yet is produces an amazing sound.
I was extremely sceptical about testing this speaker. I write 'testing' as prior to any such expensive purchase I have to use my ears before my wallet opens. I am astounded to write that again given its parameters and what it is designed to do this speaker performs above its cost and size.
Home use is the area for this unit not a studio or hall. One has to keep a sense of reality with such a purchase. This speaker will NOT fill the Albert hall and neither should it! What it will do is fill an average home living room, kitchen, work study etc with a rich full sound that excels in base also mids and treble. Sure if we desire to sit and compare with speakers twice the size costing three times the money we can debate BUT taking this as a package at this cost I have failed to find a speaker that brings 'that smile' to my face when I hear a selection of my favourite music played.
It is always totally unrealistic to go into hi-fi measurements in terms of base and treble response, separation etc. This is a small oblong that simply produces undistorted music as best such a device this size should do. That's enough. There are cheaper, slightly smaller, slightly bigger, water resistant speakers, different shapes and colours and most (not all) have their strengths also weaknesses. The 'odd' thing about the Bose is it ticks ALL the boxes in a superbly balanced way.
If you expect serious stereo separation look for a seriously larger format size. Their is zero distortion with the Bose even at full volume. Its been engineered to a very high standard and sounds (punches) well above its weight. Enough.
Link this via bluetooth to your mobile and listen to an amazing sound.
I can strongly recommend the Bose.
DISCLAIMER: Music reproduction (sound) is highly subjective. Use YOUR ears to make a purchase. Do not buy based on what's written in my mini review.

I noticed some speakers review post, so I am also sharing my review of Mpow AquaPro Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker. I did receive it from the company directly as a review unit but I will give my honest opinion without being bias.
Packaging/Unboxing: Speakers arrived in a brown box. Some of the mpow products have better packaging with magnetic white box. This one is normal packaging. Box included:
- Aquapro speaker
- 3.5mm Aux cable
- Micro USB Charging cable
- user manual
Speaker Quality and review: These are compact portable speakers. But very solid quality. These are well suited for outdoor usage, like taking with you during camping/hiking.
Speaker waterproof rating is IPX7 which is great. waterproof speakers are great as you can take it with you on pool side/beach/shower. And no issue if it starts raining when using outside.
Bluetooth pairing was also easy and I was able to play music from my phone via bluetooth connection. It also supports Aux cable in line, but when using Aux cable, you can't submerge in water.
Sound quality is very nice and loud. Sound quality was at it best on volume upto 80-90%. It even played music when I submerged the speakers in jug of water. There are on device control to change tracks or adjust volume. Speaker also has a unique SOS alert feature where it will make a loud noise, this can be very handy during emergency and you need to make a call out to get attention.
battery life is also good (4-5 hrs)
Conclusion: Great compact speakers with good sound quality and waterproof speaker. And for $30 price on amazon, these are well worth the price. Overall I will rate it 4.5/5.

I received my Mpow AquaPro Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speaker and am satisfied with it. I was looking for a bluetooth speaker to use in the shower since my old one died and this one works even better! I love listening to music all the time including in the shower. This small speaker is pretty powerful for its size. It was very easy to charge and pair with my laptop where I store all my music. You get approximately 6 hours of playtime on one charge. A nice feature is if you don't like a song you can just skip to the next one by pressing the forward button. You get decent sound quality from this speaker and it doesn't cut off and on like my old one did. It can be used at the pool, boat, car, beach, outdoors etc. Included in the box along with the speaker is the easy instructions, charging cord and a speaker cord in case you want to plug it into your device to listen and save your charge. It is waterproof, shockproof and dust proof. It also has a SOS Emergency Alert which I've never seen before on a bluetooth speaker. Hopefully I will never have to use it, but it is nice to know that it is there just in case. The speaker has a woven loop on it for hanging wherever you want or it can be set on a flat surface. Overall it is a nice speaker for the home or on the go and I would recommend it to others. Would make a nice gift for the music lover in your life.
This is just about spam now. Why Mpow is being allowed to spam products here is beyond me. There are a half dozen "reviews" on just one page here.

Better late than never but I received this speaker a while back from the manufacturer.
Some noteworthy features:
Built-in 5200 mAh Extra-Large Capacity Power Bank let you charge cell phone in outdoor.
• Big Sound--Two 8W Strong Drivers and Passive Radiator provide strong bass.
• Outdoor and Indoor Two Modes Exchangeable, for a full-range listening experience.
• IPX5 Waterproof Rating, splash proof and shockproof for outdoors.
• Built-in Speakerphone let you take calls loudly.
In short this is a solid waterproof Bluetooth speaker with stellar sound. No issues with connection with my 6p. It fell off my deck a few times onto wood deck floor and kept on going. I've taken it to parties at friends houses and beat up on it a bit and it never flinched. It's definitely waterproof as it got splashed a bunch of times(I have a pool).
The sound is very clear and loud. Even at higher levels the sound never gets muddied. The outdoor/indoor modes work well for their respective purpose. The speaker can also be used a power bank to charge various USB devices (albeit without fast charge capabilities). I like to listen to a lot of indie rock(Wolf Parade, The Walkmen, Elbow, etc) and the various instruments in this type of music can be picked out pretty regularly. I've hear the Bose soundlink and personally prefer the Mpow's sound over it.
A few other notes, I did not use the speaker to take any Bluetooth calls so I can't speak to that. Also it a bit heavier than many others but its more rugged and can withstand more wear and tear. It can hold a charge a very long time which makes it nice for travel.
Bottom line: 9/10 Surely worth your time if your looking for a relatively inexpensive Bluetooth speaker that can handle an active lifestyle.
