Hi, guys. I'm wondering what's up with my battery life. I never bother to post about since I can quickly recharge it to 100% in about 40-50 mins. Anyways, I am thinking, is my battery damaged...
It's rooted, custom unofficial CM11 (staying here cuz of Switchr app).

I think that u have a big problem with the wakelock or some other software problems.
Your system is consuming really too much

Read then post in the Battery Life Troubleshooting thread, that's what it's for
You need to work out logically what is using your battery first, very likely a certain wakelock or mod keeping your phone awake.
Only after you have determined that it is not a software related issue can you assume that it is a hardware problem.
Okay, thanks guys. I just wanted to know if that's abnormal to you lol. It does last a day but only if I don't use it for any productivity.

the same. I am curious why

I can't explain it technically, but its because the battery is being monitored while discharging at different rates.

The phone doesn't actually "know" the battery level, it only knows certain points, and the rest is interpolated based on previous usage. If the interpolation is off, then it is corrected at those bumps.
I think it increases the bigger the battery capacity is. When I was using a 7,000 mah extended battery on my old phone it would actually go back up a couple of %.
up!
Hi guys,
Like you can see in the image attached I have a lot of wakelock by Android OS (and also from 1013 and audiomix but I asked to this question here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49588961 )... I was wondering to myself but if I deactivated keep awake and position in the app Ops I will made some damages? I read somewhere in the forum that someone made this and the phone worked good! I'm satisfied with my battery life... I reach the entire day with 4 hours of sot but the phone is kept awake by something and I feel that I can have better battery life!
Every advice is accepted!

EDIT: For GB Mod display i found that is a wakelock by gravity box...i activated the last screen feature for lockscreen and probably this was the problem! However my main question is still on the thread...if i deactivate keep awake and position to Android System i will made damages? I read somewhere that probably not! But i'm asking because maybe one of you can have better answers to my doubt! Oh and also if you can help on audiomix in the other thread!

I finally have had my note 5 for a few days and so far it's really good! There is something that is really bugging me though and that is the standby time of this phone is horrible! And I'm sure it's not hardware related because:

}
This is definitely not normal, and it has always been like this from day 1. Idk why, but system and cell standby along with android OS are all using more battery than the screen. There is no doubt that the screen should be the greatest power draw by far on this phone, so that means there is something wrong here...draining my battery during sleep!
Anyone have any ideas as to what's happening?

Turn off VOLTE and WiFi calling.
What theme is that?
I tried doing that, and left my phone overnight at 95%. I woke up today and found it drained to 88%, Cell Standby and Android system being the top two equal drainers.

search for the thread about debloating the note 5 using package disabler. totally fixed the battery problem on my note.
This is what package disabler did for me. I'm more than happy, and is not even an aggressive setup. And Is not that I lost key features eother. The app has done wonders with my battery life.
Is it me but the new 30mb update OI5 is giving me better battery life? I updated early yesterday and notice my battery have not drained as fast as it was before the update.
You guys having the same experience?
Yes battery life seemed to improve after update for me as well

Yes! I went from 4.5 hrs of on screen to the same as above 7.5! Can we say SCORE!!!
I did the update (30mb) late last night, so its a bit too early to tell.
But I do hope that you are right.
This is what I go so far after the update.
Can't complain. It was fine before though.
How many apps do you guys have installed and do you use packagedisabler pro or are you rooted
Seems to be improved. Which blows me away for an android device since i was getting nearly 30 hours between charging before.

Sounds crazy.... but app opening time and navigation seems A LOT snappier.
It was the monthly security patch
