I updated to Android marshmallow yesterday but noticed that the camera ui is still the same one as lollipop but I wanna know if there is a way to get the new ui from the nexus 5x or nexus 6p for the nexus 5 on marshmallow.
Yes even I saw that but the Google photos say adjust slow motion videos taken with Google camera .. And slow motion video comes only with Google camera 3.0 which has that UI you say!!!
You can't. The new UI is for the newer devices. Older devices will either get it at a later date, or not be changed at all.

Hi there,
I want to know if there is an application that works like the iphone 5S slow motion function.
I love it, but I still want my nexus 5.
Thanks

Unless you had an android specifically with camera built in slow-motion to take the video, it is not possible unless you get a 3rd party app that can do that (don't know if one exists yet that will work). But you can try the app AndroVid to see if it works for you. Says you take the video using regular camera app and then this app will convert your video to slow-motion. No a direct in camera feature but may work for you.

The new Lollipop 5.0 API has opened up the camera function so that the speed of the camera can be discovered and then if it supports a faster frame rate (AKA slo-mo) then it can be used. There is a guy who is trying this with this beta(?) camera app: https://github.com/PkmX/lcamera
Please try it as the guy has done some work with the 5 and 6. I would like to know if it works. I tried it on a nexus 10 and the app crashed/wouldn't open. But then again I doubt the camera on a nexus 10 supports fast frame rates.
I was really hoping Google will fix the camera sound quality issue and maybe boost it's recording ability since it stacks the CPU for it.
I really love the lollipop version, but I must say that the main feature I was expecting for in this update is the camera fix...
What is your most anticipated feature on lollipop?
Hi! I recently installed a custom rom in my HTC One M7 and i want to have slow motion video, and i saw that the google camera app supports slow-mo on nexus 5x and 6p, and i want to ank if it is possible to enable this feature touching something in the app's code.
I have already tested a lot of ports of htc camera and none of this works with slow-mo...
Or if it isn't possible, what libraries should i port in order to make slow-mo working with the htc camera on a custom rom.
L camera did 120fps back in the days, it's 2018 now and everyone gets slow-mo via stock or Google Camera mods or Magisk modules - EXCEPT US! Any new way to achieve 60/120fps on Nougat/Oreo for N5?
Interested in this.
However, what mods of google camera are there for nexus 5? I cannot find any searching on xda
Can anyone provide me the stock emui 8 gallery. I am running RROS v6 and it has the stock EMUI 8 camera but without stock gallery it's pretty much useless. Also, for some reason I can't download the additional camera modes by clicking on the more tab in camera modes. Is there a way I can manually load them or work around. Also can you people sugggest an alternative camera and gallery app from the play store.
