I never use Talkback and have it turned off in settings. But Play just offered me an update to Google Talkback. So I wonder if it is running in the background. Can I safely "freeze" Talkback in Titanium backup or will that cause trouble?
What pre-installed Google Apps can I safely freeze?
Kitkat 4.4.4.
Yes, u can freeze it.

I'm not quite sure what I did, but Google+'s settings are not saving. Every time I open the app, it asks me if I want to sync contacts and have it backup my images. Every time. Every time I take a picture, I get a notification that it can backup my images, even though I told it no! I have a theory as to how this broke (I think it was when I tried to "integrate" the Google Play Services update into my ROM), but I cannot figure out how to fix it.
I have an LG Optimus F3 (rooted). I was using Titanium Backup to "integrate updates into ROM", when I accidentally told it to integrate the "Google Play Services" update into the ROM. This caused Google Play Services to immediately crash. I waited like 20 minutes, but Titanium Backup never progressed. I rebooted.
Google Play Services is crashing whenever I try to do anything. I managed to get into Titanium Backup to uninstall it. This stopped it from crashing. After a reboot, I opened Google+ and it asked me to update Google Play Services. I let the Play Store download and re-install Google Play Services.
This let Google+ open, and it wasn't crashing anymore, but now Google+ is unable to save its settings. I tried to convert the newly re-installed Google Play Services to a system app, but that didn't fix anything.
I have not yet tried to re-install Google+ because it's a system app, and I don't wanna break anything even more.
How can I get Google+'s settings to stick? How can I fix Google Play Services?
P.S. Is there an LG Optimus F3 forum? I couldn't find it.
So basically I rooted and wanted to get rid of some of the bloat, and I removed fb Instagram, the Google+, mag, news, movies and music apps because I never use them, but now when ever I use voice search, it fcs and I'm not really sure, I used titanium to remove everything, could it be because of the other apps i removed?
If i remove google app and reinstall it would that be a fix? I'm stock rooted btw.

Flash this rom, you will have most debloated Galaxy S6 ever, you can also flash aroma add-on package if you want additional stuff.
It is wise to freeze apps first to see what issues you might run into. Saving copies of what you are deleting also makes it easier to get them back if you run into the situation you have run into.
Hello,
on the S6 it's possible to disable the Facebook app, but there are two services still running and make updates outside the Google play store, so even if I have disabled auto updates, Facebook does it!
The services are called
.com.facebook.appmanager
.com.facebook.system
How can I stop these services from starting up without root?
Thanks for your help
You simply can't
Since these are system services and anything system related cant be deactivated without root.

use package disabler pro app from play store. Let's you disable these as well as Samsung bloatware.
I force stopped everything with Facebook in the name (4 things), unchecked notifications and cleared data. It didn't come up in my update list. But if it comes back I'll get the package disabled app.

I'm tired of google play updating and refreshing in the background, thus draining battery here and then.
I want to remove the google account and freeze play services, but from time to time to add it again and refresh the apps from playstore. Can it be done, playstore only on demand? Stock 6.01, mob30m, rooted.
Hi guys, I'am a very experienced android superuser since years, yesterday i got a XZP.
I rooted it with XperiFIX all worked fine, but.... if i try to debloat the rom from the sony bloatware apps in /system/app & /system/priv-app like ar effect or google play music or google chrome. if i delete these apps folders like this folder of chrome. and restart my phone.... and try to open gmail or login with a new google account. i get a force close screen: google play services has stopped. what the f..?? where is the context between play services and bloatware like chrome. and this is with all apps. any app i delete in system/app or priv-app leads to play services crash. can someone help ? iam on oreo.

I had the same issue. Took me a while to figure out that it's Chrome.
But since I used one account on this phone I didn't know about that problem until some magisk module f*d up my encryption keys and I could boot by phone, so I had to format in TWRP.
It gave me an error during Setup wizard, I managed to bypass it by deleting setup wizard but still my phone was useless.
My guess is that Google uses Chrome's WebView implementation for logging in.
In developer options you can't switch to default android WebView, option is grayed out, so unfortunately Chrome must be kept.

Did you try to log in in a different Google account after you removed those apps?
