Vibration only on vibration mode - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Hello,
I have a VZW m8 running Adrenaline 2.4 Android 5.02 with the latest firmware.
I have quite a few apps vibrate when I get notifications, fb messenger, what's app, group me and messenger....you get the point. when I toggle vibrate in the settings, they'll vibrate on vibrate but when it's on sound it will make a notification sound and vibrate. I don't want it to vibrate. Verizon messages has a option for vibrate only in vibrate mode but the other apps don't. is there a way for the software to force all apps to only vibrate in vibrate mode and just sound in sound mode (disables all vibrate)?
Have been looking for a solution for this for a little any help is appreciated. Thank you!

[Q] No vibrate if silent mode is off

Now i hv an issue which need u help. For my Nexus s, no vibrate appears when an sms or gtalk message comes if the silent mode is off. But, the phone would be vibrating if i turned on the silent mode. i set vibrate always in the setting of Sound. i also set the vibrate always in the setting of SMS and Gtalk. But, it doesn't work. i wanna the ringtone and vibrate both appear if an sms or gtalk meassage comes. is there anyone help me?
there are 2 modes
make sure you have set it to VIBRATE mode
if you set it to SILENT mode, it is really silent, it wont even vibrate, because vibration makes noise

Now the problem is that if the SILENT mode is selected, vibrate would come, if not, no vibrate comes. i wanna see that ringtone and vibrate come out together if an sms or gtalk message received without SILENT mode selected. but, it doesn't work. However, if an incoming call came, the ringtone and vibrate could come out together.
i had the same issue ever since I bought my Nexus S but the setting for vibrating when you receive a text message is in the Messaging app after you press the menu key adn go into settings
Messaging App --> Menu Key --> Settings --> Vibrate (Under the Notification Settings)
Hope this helps!!
I use audio manager (free version) from the market. It offers excellent control over all the global sound levels and vibration.
Sent from the future to put right what once went wrong.

Disabling vibrate when sound is on

Hello,
I'm running JellyBeans Build 20 on my Galaxy s3.
I have the AOSP messaging app and I have checked vibrate under notifications. Whenever I put the phone into sound only, the phone will still vibrate when a text comes. If I take vibrate off a text notification will only have sound but when I put it in vibrate mode, it does not vibrate.
I want my phone to vibrate when it's vibrate, but when it's on sound I just want it to be sound with no vibration. I know touchwiz had a setting where you could set vibrate to just silent mode, but I do not see that in AOSP. Am I simply missing a setting or is there an app that will allow me to override vibrate and make it vibrate when I want?
Thank you.

[Q] How to set Ring, Vibrate, Ring&Vibrate modes

Hi guys,
On my nexus 5, I can set my phone to silent, only vibrate, only ring, ring&vibrate sound modes. However problem I'm heaving is that those modes work only for phone incoming calls.
But for apps like messages, email notification, fb ... I can not make it to go into all 4 those modes. If I go into app setting and for notifications if I check sound box and vibrate box - then my phone would vibrate even if it is set to ring mode. If I uncheck vibrate in app settings - then my phone will not vibrate when is set to ring&vibrate mode. It will only vibrate when is on only vibrate mode.
Is there a way to fix this so I can have silent, only vibrate, only ring, and ring&vibrate mode for calls and app notifications?
Anyone
I use Llama for this. Tasker would also work.

How did you set Llama to get it to work. I have Llama but it does not do what i'm looking for; that is when set to ring only mode phone calls and notifications would ring/sound only. When set to ring&vibrate phone calls and notifications would ring and vibrate.
So far only way to make this happen is to go to every app and check notification vibrate when i want it to ring and vibrate. But this is pain in the b... to always change for every app.
Anyone

[Q] Won't vibrate on notifications other than from stock SMS

Running rooted stock ICS on this one. Notifications from the stock SMS messenger worked fine - phone will vibrate.
When I get a notification from either Textra or Kik, it won't vibrate. If I have sound on, I will get the notification sound (and vibration, since I have "sound and vibration" checked), and get the notification icon in the tray, so clearly it's *getting* the notification, it's just not vibrating when in "Vibrate" mode. Have already checked the Sound settings - vibration intensity for notification is all the way up. I'm stumped.

Does not vibrate for new message

Don't know if this is an Android 11, a P4a, or a messages problem.
I cannot get the phone to both vibrate and make a sound when text messages (stock google messages app) come in. It will make a sound if my volume is on, vibrate if the volume is off (slider to lowest) but will not do both. I have the "Vibrate" option on in the notifications settings for the app. Calls will ring and vibrate, my alarm will ring and vibrate, but messages will not do both simultaneously.
Anyone else having this issue? Everything I've searched online says to ensure Vibrate is enabled in settings. It is.
Thoughts?
