For roms you can search on google there are many out there,if not ask me i will send you links , also i seen some improvement in device performance when we increase the min cpu frequency by using kernel adiutor app,
Best rom, RESURRECTION REMIX , CAN SEND THE LINK IF YOU WANT
Put the min cpu frequency to 747mhz
IO scheduler and change read ahead to 512kb for both internal and external storage
Virtual memory 520-750 mb swappiness to 60
Entropy - read = 512 write = 256
Set all this in kernel adiutor app using root access and tell me the results ,

I SEEN THAT IF I DISABLE THE BOOT ANIMATION , WE GET MORE 120 MB RAM FREE IN PHONE
I THINK THIS IS DUE TO MEMORY LEAK BUG IN ANDROID 5.0.x ROMS

Obviously more RAM would be the choice. Plus, the boot animation is very lame so disable or put something nice instead. Waiting for the update! :good:

I'm creating a ROM for the Huawei Ideos x3 or known as the Huawei U8510.
The main target is to get the maximum speed out of it as well as safe as much battery as possible.

There are much worse Huawei phones than this that have an extensive community of ROM makers (u8120, u8160). Not to mention that huawei is pretty much the only company making budget-end smartphones shipped to central europe and believe it or not but with the current economy here, not everyone has 300 - 400 bucks for more reknowned brands.
Galaxy core is a mid-range android device with android 4.1.2....The device doesn't has many features and although the device lags too much!!!!
This thread is created for them who want there galaxy core lag free !!! But you can't make too fast and you can't remove all lag!!! You can use your device smoothly....
**Some of this tweaks will also improve your battery life**
**Before doing anything backup your current rom because device is yours...I'm not responsible for anything cause in your device....So, Let's start!!**
**You need**
1.A rooted galaxy core... {It'll be good if cwm is installed}
2.Stock rom will best for this!!

**Go to settings and do the next things**
1.Go to location services and unmark all google data.. {They are useful, So enable them when you need it}
2.Go to developer options and change animator duration scale to 0.5x..
3.Go to display settings and set screen timeout to 15 or 30 seconds...
4.Go to display settings and turn off your soft button light, if you don't need them....
5.Set your brightness low...

Enabling Power Saving mode increases lag, see the help section,, it has two sections : Limiting CPU usage to full and other one is lower FPS both will increase lag.

Let me explain myself, in SD booster. The value that you use its 8192 I only want to know if the colour of that number is purple, green or red. Can u put a screenshoot?

Ahhhh!! xDDD It was strange for me that with a high quality sd I was only able to use 512 as cache. Ty for you post
Other tips on battery saving and performance
1.Use another launcher. Touchwiz Home is quite laggy and uses alot of resources. Select a new default launcher and freeze Touchwiz using link2sd
(search for it in play store, it requires root)
2. Using link2sd, also freeze weather daemon and widget and yahoo news and widget. You can also freeze the native music player as it also uses alot of resources and use poweramp (for example) instead.
3. Uninstall useless, unused apps. This will save you memory and make your device faster.
4. Wipe Dalvik Cache. Every now and then, whipe your dalvik cache.
The S4 at times faces some serious lag while launching the Recents Menu and after the Lollipop update things have gotten worse.
So to boost things up here are few build.prop edits which can help you to improve the launching speed of Recents Menu and also the overall snappiness of the phone.

Some of those lines already exist in my stock build.prop of OE3 firmware. Still , those were made for Note4 which has a lot more cpu power and ram. I don't think keeping up to 70 apps in memory is that great of an option for 2 gb ram.

Sorry to be the one who brings the negative comment, but this mod made the background-apps-killing very very aggressive, it killed very light apps when there was no need to (it killed the phone/contacts, the messaging app and many other apps) and there was no perceptible gain in Recent Apps speed.
EDIT: I'm on Phoenix ROM 11.6 (for i9505) with Imperium Kernel 2.5a with these settings: Governor: Impulse; Sched: FIOPS and the rest is almost defaults

This app is working fine, it gives smooth gameplay & fast on 2gb ram device, but when i play pubg game continously 1-2 hours my gameplay again gots laggy any solution for this, i think might be the reason for the cache of game. After exit the game, clean master found 1-1.5 gb cache & cleaned. I'm on Resurrection Remix Oreo 8.1 device model Nubia Z9 Mini

Yes, with GLtools for fake GPU.. setting high and high fps. I have 50-60fps..good Rom 4 me

Thanks for the rom, works fine. But i have a question. I just flashed gapps and magisk but when reboot there's no magisk and no root. Is there possible to have root? Also, does ir work? And what about substratum? Or is there another way to theme?
I found shishu themes but just i'm wondering if there can be more theming.
Has anyone else encountered a bug, for the weather always showing in Celsius? Google weather shows Fahrenheit, but widget on home screen and lock screen always shows Celsius. Thanks guys.
