[Q] Import bookmarks - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
So I want to import bookmarks from a note 2 to a S6. I've tried samsungs app "smart switch" but unfortunately bookmarks are missing in the app when trying to send it to S6 for some odd reason. So I've tried several apps from the play store like "Bookmark Sort & Backup" but they can't be opened on S6 with 5.1.1 (they keep crashing) so as of now I've got an HTML file. How can I import it to samsung S6 stock browser from note 2 stock browser?
Note that the bookmarks are not synced with chrome, they are stored in the stock browser on note 2 and I want to export them to S6 stock browser.
Thanks

You can do so with your Samsung account. Sync them from your note 2, then sign in to your S6 and they should sync

Memo on Galaxy Note 10.1

Greetings!
I recently upgraded from a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to the Galaxy Note 10.1.
On the Tab 2 10.1, there was "Memo", which synced to my Outlook Notes when syncing using Samsung Kies.
On the Galaxy Note 10.1, there is no such program, and I am left without the ability to sync my Outlook Notes onto the Note 10.1.
I would appreciate any input into how I can sort out this issue.
Many thanks.

I have not checked myself but have you tried looking in the Samsung Apps Store?

Yes, I have checked all the Apps Stores, and cannot find the native Memo App.
The funny thing though, is that using Root Explorer, I see that there is a "SecTabletMemo.apk" in the system/app folder. However, the application does not show up in the available/usable apps. Also, trying to install the app from this folder (system/app), it starts the installation, but ends with a "Application not installed" message.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Really need some input on this.
Anyone?
Thanks.

Sync S apps (calenders, notes) between my S3 and Note 10.1.

I am having a heck of a time getting my Samsung account to sync s-memo and calendars.
The S3 uses Calendar (smasung, not googles) whereas the Note 10.1 uses S-Planner.
The S3 uses S-Memo and the Note 10.1 uses S-Note.
My Samsung account is linked to my primary Google account.
The passwords between the 2 accounts are the same.
All I want is my calenders and notes to sync. If I write a note on my tablet I would like it to sync to my phone and vice versa. The same goes for calender events. Weirdly contacts and internet both sync. If my calendar events are supposedly syncing to my primary Google calender, then why aren't events created on my phone showing on my tablet?
I know I can't be the only person who wants to symc data between OEM apps on an S3 and Note 10.1. Yes, I did do a search. Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Well I am an idiot.
It helps if you tell it to save to the google calendar instead of ghe internal one.
And apparently S-Memo and S-Note don't play nice with one another. Wth Samsung?

If this helps ya, I have the Note tablet & note 2 phone and the S Note does not integrate. I can sync both just can't sync from one to another. It sucks, but hopefully it will change
I had this exact same question. Just got a Note 10.1 and wanted to sync my notes with my Note 2.
Damn!
S-Note S-Memo
I understand at least that S-Note can import S-Memo files...anyone tried it and can confirm?

Just new and looking for an answer to why my s notes do not sync between note 2 and 10.1 Or they sync the disappear. Does this mean that right now its not actually possible??

I figured how to sync my Galaxy note 2 S Notes with my Galaxy note tab 10.1. I used google docs.
1. Press and hold on a note or a folder
2. Select Sync from the menu
3. Select Google Docs
4. Log into Google Docs (if you don't have google docs, then create one) LOL.
5. Go to your Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet and open your S Note app.
6. On the Drop down menu after the + sign on the top right hand corner, select Sync
7. Select Google Docs and log in.
8. You will see your Notes or folder import.
That's it, this imports the notes very well. If you need help setting your notes to do (handwriting to text) let me know.
Thanks!

The absolute best solution for this is DROPSYNC!! Just install dropsync on your phone and on the tablet. Direct dropsync to sync both ways and sync the snotes folder. PERFECT SYNC!! Not sure why the Samsung account can't do this, but Dropsync does it exactly! Make a note on the tablet and it ends up on the phone and vise versa.
Give it a try!
Thanks!
Thank you that works really well and is so easy to use!
Thanks again!

Sorry, I think SPlanner only syncs between your email and calendar clients.
S4 and Note 10.1 s note sync issue
Hi All,
Does this expIain why I'm getting the following:
Create an S note on my note 10.1
I can view it on my note and s4
as soon as I've viewed it on my s4 it disappears from my note 10.1
This isn't exactly a "useful" feature!?

Thanks. Dropsync is perfect.
I have an s3. I like the format of the s memo calender. I have my personal gmail acct sync'd and I have my bosses sync'd (which i just did about 2 weeks ago). I am now trying to sync my work gmail calendar, but it says "can not connect to google servers, try again". What do I do? (ps- I did check my gmail acct on my phone and they are ALL sync'd there)

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - T-Mobile Bloatware

Just rooted my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 from T-Mobile, it's running JB 4.1.2. I'm taking the Tab on a long drive using the Waze app and battery life will be crucial for me.
I installed AnTek App Manager and froze the following bloat apps:
Google Play Books
GMail
Google+
Gallery (I'm using QuickPic)
Lookout Security
T-Mobile TV
T-Mobile My Account
I'm wondering if anyone else can identify any other bloatware? There are lots of apps I can't identify, like "Bonus apps" and Samsung apps but I can't be certain if they are needed or just bloat.
Thanks!

Issues trying to Sync snote between note 10.1 and note 2

Hi
I have been using dropsync to sync my notes between devices but its painfully slow when opening snote (app just says syncing and stays there for almost 20 seconds some times not allowing me to use the app)
I cant use the Samsung accounts to synce due to the roms i use that removes the Samsung account on my device
Has anyone had the dropsync issues with s note or is there another way to keep my notes synced

Chrome bookmarks not syncing with stock browser

I'll start with, I've reviewed the few post regarding this issue, no help. I've spoken with an associate that has the Note Pro and he's having the same issue of Chrome bookmarks aren't syncing with the stock browser. On my Note 8, the gMail account is syncing and the Chrome bookmarks are present in the stock browser.
Wondering if this is an issue that is being seen with many of the Note Pro users and if so, any resolution found or in sight?
Thanks in advance.

It's been this way since the stock browser moved off WebKit with the N3. You can sync with your Samsung account which will allow bookmarks to be saved/shared across multiple Samsung devices but that's pretty much it.
