Hello everyone, I'm am absolutely new to xda (I've joined today) so I don't know if this is the right place for this thread (apologies).
I have a website for which I want to create an Android app similar to a news app which notifies users of new posts and lets them view the site as they are reading news. I'm looking forward to create the app in Tasker as I'm not much familiar with programming (I'm quite new to it). So how do I create such an app?

In any case, I thought this would be a great app. That allows you to read and post replies from within an app. Perhaps a little customization, allowing the user to choose the forums he/she frequents? Updates and post and the such?
Well, I think it would be a good idea. RSS feeds are cool, in fact I primarily use it for news, but it doesn't allow you to post and create threads.
there is one for android pretty good too. should not be to difficult to create.
ya, there is 1 for Android, but sadly none for winmo..
Maybe we can get those guys that developed the Android app to work on a WinMo app?
I want to create an app for a forum that I visit a lot, problem is I don't know where to start. I want it to kinda do what the app for this site does, Pulls new threads, news topics so on... Thanks in advance for the directions.
There is an app called Tapatalk for that. Just check whether the forum is supported or not. If not just ask the forum's owner to apply the plugin. You don't need to go all the way to app dev for that.
Hi i once saw a thread on xda portal an app called "rheity" or something like that, that develops apps for android and makes it easier for non-developers to make apps on android.

Hello everyone, i am wondering how i can make an app that can connect to a website via messages, notifications and basic stuff that only the app offers compared like how the Facebook app works in comparison to the actual website. i have no experience in making an app as complex as this is so im wondering if there is some sort of template or automatic system that can help me build the app but also connect to the blog/forum so Users can access the forum easier from their hand held devices which will bring a lot more of the community in.... Actually i have seen your app for this forum, and i need to make something similar for a forum that im helping out, as i am a member to this forum and came up with the idea of making an app. where do i even start?
it would be even better if some one could develop an app for me, of course you'd be getting all the credit

They want an app that can display our menu choices for the day and can be changed on a day to day basis. I'm looking for any tips, considering I'm a beginner coder and would like to make this happen.
