signal problem - Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good afternoon, I'm new in this forum. I have a question I hope could help solve this problem. My smartphone is moto g 2015 (XT1541). I wonder if unlocking the bootloader and putting a Latin America firmware (XT1542) my phone would have 3G and 4G signal in Ecuador.
thanks for answer.

[Q] Tesco Mobile to US stock

Title says it all.
I have a Moto G with Tesco firmware, I'd like to know if I flash US retail stock ROM will I still be able to use my Moto G in EU without baseband or any issues?
Or should I just flash retail UK to be safe
Yes.
The only difference is that you will see a 3G icon instead of H+ - but the speeds remains the same as on HSPA+
Search forum next time as this was already covered in other topics, and ask your questions in Q&A section.

[Completed] [Q] E975 3G in argentina(basebands)

Hi people, last year I bought an unlocked e975 international version in the US and I live in Argentina, the frequencies used here are 850/1900 for 3g and doing a quick search i've found that the phone specs say it supports 900/2100. There is nothing i can do to get the 3g to work here? If I try flashing modems is it going to be the same? Thanks in advance

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
From what I remember, NV Memory is way too low level to be affected by flashing a different ROM. Flashing a different modem on the other hand, possibly (just don't do that because I mentioned it ). I just cannot remember what NV Memory attacks.
A good place to get some pointers is:
> Moto X > Moto X Q&A > [HELP THREAD] Moto X Ask any question
Please note, you will need an XDA account to be able to post there.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
