Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Unfortunately, I can only find one thread about your device, and it is unanswered:
> General discussion > Questions and Answers > Mstar M1 Pro- Root Options?
I suggest trying out some rooting tools, this page will give you a start, and can report the progress on the above thread (once you have a registered account on XDA).
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hi,
I have the same phone, great and fast device but i'm also not able to root it.
I found this,
"MStar S700, M1, M1pro, MLais M4note, M7 also root by the same method.
that is SuperSU2.49.zip through Carliv recovery.
I have S700 and M1 pro, Use all method from M4note that you can found in needrom.com (Special for only M1-M1pro, we can push custom recovery in fastboot mode)"
Maybe tis can help?

Hello,
I cannot find the source thread, but I see you have posted it in a spot more appropriate for discussion:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Mstar M1 Pro Lollipop 5.0 Root? Nothing Working, Help if possible?
I would hang out there (maybe subscribe to that thread so you get notifications on anything new), maybe try out the source material you suggested and report back there, as the organization in that forum is better than this one (one of the reasons anyway).
To the original poster, this may be a good place to look as well, as progress for your device may end up there.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
I can find nothing on XDA about your device. You can try one of the generic root methods at the top of the list here,
XDA Root Directory
And if nothing helps, you can ask for help here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.

Hi,
Bought a new Pioneer M1 Cellphone with Android 4.4.4 in China a week ago.
Even with English language there are still chinese signs and options.
I need to root is and install a new Rom.
Is there a way doing this ?
Thanks a million.
Hi,
I'm sorry, but there is no forum for your device on XDA. For rooting you can try framaroot, if your device isn't compatible you can ask for help in the Framaroot forum. For recovery and custom ROM, you can try to ask in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.
Good luck with your question!
