As for now you can't install Xposed, Sony messed up with file Services.odex and Xposed won't work. We have to wait until devs will figure it out or Sony updates their roms.
Don't even bother trying to flash Xposed, it will always give you bootloop.

:/
So i was trying to flash xposed from RECOVERY in D2306 but, it always goes bootloop. I've had been trying all day, and can't find any fix :/

You won't XPOSED DOESN'T WORK and may never work if either Sony or the dev doesn't do something about it the t2u has had the same problem and nothing has been done about it since lollipop first came out. I want xposed myself but don't hold your breath
D2303 5.1 lollipop customised NCB rooted de-bloated LB t2u nut dual recovery x-reality+supervivid

So, any updates on this??? im trying to install xposed but can see there are no fixes, I am getting bootloops

Didn't you read my post above, this issue will never be fixed on M2,t2u and c3 I'll say it again, if you want working xposed on 5.1 use either gauravs z1c or z2 deodexed port or linuxct's z5 style rom this is THE ONLY WAY to get it to work....

See this is the only way to get xposed Working on 5.1 gauravs deodexed ports

Yeah i got it, but it has been a few months now, so thought maybe someone came with a new update on this.. Never mind, I got the z5 style rom as you posted... thanks...

Yeah, I did try to get Sony to admit that there was a problem with the Corrupted services.odex file but they wouldn't have it so unfortunately this will probably never be fixed at least Gaurav007 got us a workaround which to be honest is the better solution as we gain all z2 features

Please do not forget Xposed...

U have to deodex the stock odexed firmware. then u can install xposed. Before that reflash the stock lollipop firmware.

Check if GravityBox (latest from Xposed) has that option
Why not just flash a 5.0 based custom ROM in the phone and enjoy??

I alredy got back to my stock .31 JB and flashed custom kernel and I use it,but I want some custom OS but when I flash them they're full of bugs, can't even run them propperly.Phone crashes,Settings, everything just crashes. Also when I flash CWM (I found it on xda topic and downloaded it) and when I scroll it's full of bugs, screen shuts down, just bugs everywhere.
Yeah, i tried few roms, i liked CM but I'm on stock .31 now, clean it from apps that i don't needed, themed it a little, it's working good, im satisfied.
About CWM, i flash CM kernel, go in CWM, do what I have to do, flash stock kernel.

Try flashing stock kernel first, the cwm i use from CM kernel when finished i flash stock kernel in order to boot. If you don't have stock kernel, in Flashtool just leave the kernel in ftf unchecked.
Good Luck.

xperia m2 aqua supercharged kernel by timipisoboy

Hey.
Welcome to my second post about xperia m2 aqua kernel.
When seeing that nobody has nothing made for m2 aqua yet (only root) i decided to also made custom kernel.
Download link:
MOD EDIT removed due to GPLv2 @gregbradley
You need to unlock bootloader witch tutorial you can find here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/m2-aqua-simple-root-unlock-bootloader-t3069957
The kernel is blazing fast and you shoud already see it when booting up phone.
It's still in the beta but it has preinstalled cwm, i just need to configure the buttons corectly and that's that!
Known bugs?
-None for now
-Except not yet established cwm(not a bug but still)
Additional:
-Faster speed
-Fixed accelometer bug when it's stops working
-Potentialy longer battery life(still not aproved)
Installation:
Just flash M2_AQUA_SUPERKERNEL_TIMIPISOBOY.img via fastboot with flashtool or adb!
Special thanks to DOOMLORD!!!
Stay tuned because im working on custom rom whic is basicaly based on stock just fasteren up and removed some not important apps.
Basicaly if i won't get the cwm on my kernel i'll use XM2-AdvStkKernel_DooMLoRD_ramdisk kernel with know working cwm but bootlooped on m2 aqua.
Just a comad-line more when zip install to remove current boot and replace it with mine.
Thanks and stay tuned!!!!
Tell me if you have any troubles or known bugs.
Bad for me because i have locked botloader, but i gett rooted my phone and its was very easy. So do you thing about Aosp project for aqua?

CM12.1 for Xperia C3 D2533

Good day all.
Due to the lack of a single Custom ROM for our beloved Xperia C3, I have taken it upon myself to develop CyanogenMod 12.1 for it. If you are reading this and have any experience with developing ROMs or would like to beta test the ROM, please contact me either over PM or via email at [email protected].
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Riccorbypro
You first need a working recovery for the rom, that's the main thing needed for anyone who took the risk of rooting the rom. And then hack open the bootloader >.>
I don't mind testing, but this is the only phone I have and I can't afford another (college student here too). So this is a list I made when anyone asks me about installing custom roms.
1. Have a trusted source compile a working recovery, and test backed up rom to ensure it works
2. A flashable tool+stock rom that works
3. List of identified errors with their possible solutions that confirmed works
Sorry, I'm not putting much hope into this phone but if anything ever works, this is my proposed counter to Murphy's Law.
Edit: if you're looking at AOSP similarities, you might want to try Carbon Rom for a starter, but that's my personal taste. My last N7000 ran Carbon KitKat and it was one of the most stable I've had.

If you're looking for recovery, XZDR for the T2U works perfectly on C3. I'm able to do anything recovery-related on the TWRP variant. Go to http://nut.xperia-files.com/ and build your kernel using D5303 device and then D2533 firmware presets. If you need to upload the kernel, use XperiFirm to download your firmware and use your kernel.sin. Or you can use the installer for T2U from the same site. Make sure to use the 2.8.21 variant though.
Works 100%.

XperiFirm + Flashtool. Never let me down.
Also, the Bootloader of C3 uses the same unlock code as the Z3 Compact. Tried it a few weeks ago, running unlocked right now.
Can't say anything about 3 yet, need to get the ROM booting first...
I will always trust CyanogenMod. I have also tried Carbon. I didn't like it. I decided to build CyanogenMod because it is the most popular ROM for most phones, and I feel that it is also the best. The last 3 phones that I have had (From my first "smartphone", the Galaxy I5500, to my last one before C3, the Galaxy I9500 (S4 Qualcomm)) CyanogenMod has always run the best on them. This is why I am building CM12.1, and not Carbon. Once I have actually managed to get CM up and running, I might re-evaluate the situation and build Carbon too. For now, CM is the main focus of my attention.

Hmm, thanks for the info then. Hopefully the rom will have a fix for the rear camera imaging as well, it's a huge turnoff for the C3. Maybe I'll compile a kernel with the recovery but that will be quite a long ways ahead. Anyhoo, one last question; does the CM12 for Xperia have a Stamina mode as well? I'm not familiar with the Xperia roms, and have been using a substitute Xposed app on other devices similar to Stamina.

No, CM12.1 DOES NOT have Stamina. Stamina Mode is an Xperia exclusive. However, I find that even when running stock ROM, I have no need for Stamina Mode. AOSP Lollipop, and, by extension, CM12, has a "Battery Saver" mode that kicks in at 15% battery, but that is about it. I'm sure that the Xposed Module that you're using would work, though.
