Problems with Bluetooth mic working with Google Now and Voice Dialer

Hello,
I have been trying to get my Bluetooth headset to work with Google Now, Google Search, and Voice Dialer. None of these seems to recognize the bluetooth microphone input and every time I try to use them in this way they just time out as if nothing was said. The bluetooth listening option for google now is enabled so that is not the issue. I have read that this was an issue with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 but I can't find a fix anywhere. Does anyone know how to fix this? Will this be resolved when the OTA update comes along this week?
Please, this is driving me crazy because I can't use these functions while driving!
At the very least can someone confirm that they are having the same issue?
Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Yeah, I actually saw that, but the last post was back in August. And nobody posted a way to fix that problem. Does anyone know of a work around or fix for this problem?

Respond to Lifeline Notification

Hey! So I decided that a text based notification game would be perfect for a watch. I installed Lifeline on my phone and was surprised to see I can only read the notification! No responding...
Anyone know a solution?
Thanks!

Microphone not working in loudspeaker mode

Evening everyone. I am having a strange issue with my mate 9. When I`m on a phonecall everything is working fine, but as soon as I turn on the loudspeaker, the person on the other side starts saying that he/she can`t hear me. Sometimes a few words "go through", but most of the time it`s choppy (same as using viber or any other VOIP app on bad wifi connection). Is this software or hardware related? Has anyone had similar problems on a huawei device?
I have downgraded from Oreo to Nougat, hoping that would help, but it remained the same.
Any advice is highly appreciated :highfive:
writing "everything is OK on my side" is also much appreciated. at least I`ll now it`s not a common issue.
great community..great support..
MOD please close this thread.. I will try to find help somewhere else

Ok Google Not Working After v11.19.17.21 ?

I noticed recently that "Ok Google" voice activation of the Assistant was no longer working. It took me a long time to notice because I only use this feature when driving longer distances, something I haven't been doing much during the pandemic.
With the newer versions if I say "Ok Google" or "Hey Google" there is no response. If I manually launch the Assistant ie long press on Home button it comes up and I can press the microphone and it works. If I try to retrain the voice model it tells me it's having issues connecting, and I cannot get past this message. It's clearly not a connectivity issue because I can use other Google apps and surf the web just fine.
I was curious when this had stopped working so I did some testing:
10.97.8.21 original version that came with the OS update, working
11.19.12.21 working
11.19.17.21 working
11.21.9.21 not working
11.27.6.21 not working
11.30.12.21 not working
11.39.7.23 not working
11.43.8.23 not working
12.2.11.23 not working
12.6.8.23 not working
12.10.7.23 not working
Obviously I didn't test every single version available but it seems that it broke between 11.19.x.x and 11.21.x.x. I was not able to find a good 11.20.x.x to download and test, so I can't rule that version out.
For now I've reverted to 11.19.17.21 but I'm concerned about security running that old of a version.
Any idea what might have changed in between those two versions to make this stop working?
Anyone else have similar experiences?
