Unable to mount SM-T330NU running moonbutt74's CyanogenMod 11 Port as MTP, or UMS - Android General

I recently flashed moonbutt74's CyanogenMod 11 port onto my SM-T330NU Tablet using a CWM port. However, when attempting to mount my tablet through USB as MTP (with USB Debugging Enabled) it doesn't show up at all. When I attempt to mount it as a UMS device, it triggers a F: drive CD mount point.
I would post directly to the Development forum but due to certain rules, as a new user, I cannot. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Kindle Fire ICS (latest build) USB mass toggle app

Hey all, I am using jackpotclavins latest build on my rooted kindle fire. Everything is great and I know ICS lost usb mass storage support, so there is apps on the market to do so. one that everyone uses is USB mass storage toggle, Its even on my droidx with ics. Now this app in older versions will mount but it will mount an unknown file system and it will want me to format it. The newer version does it sometimes. I was wonder if it had to do with the kindle fire having multiple partitions on one memory card? tried to post this to the ics thread in developer sforum but i have less than 10 post.
i can't answer your question specifically with respect to usb mass storage toggle, however i'm using an app called dual mount sd ($0.99 on the market) and it's working beautifully for me with the latest ICS build.
Been using the AoKP with kernel 6 for a few days and of course don't have USB but I usually transfer over WIFI anyway (that works fine).
Anytime I must use USB I just boot into recovery, mount, do my thing, then unmount and reboot.
Works fine in a pinch.

Softlinks on CM10 Preview (USB Mount)

I've switched from Samsung Vanilla Android 3.1 to CM10 Android 4.1 alpha on my Galaxy Tab 10.1.
It works fine, with one exception.
When I connect a USB stick to the device the original Samsung Android mounted
it to /mnt/usbdrive, but has created a symbolic link to the internal storage
at /sdcard/storages/usbdrive as well, so it could be accessed easily, and
without a root request.
With CM10 it's mounted to /mnt/usbdrive, but no symbolic link is created.
So I've tried to do it myself in terminal:
ln -s /mnt/usbdrive /mnt/sdcard/storages/usbdrive
but get a "not supported" error message.
Please help!
on the galaxy tab 7.7 with a cm10 build on it i have the same problem.
usb sd-card reader with fat file system is listed as /dev/block/sda1 or sdb1, how shoud i mount it to be able to r/w without root privileges?
help would be appreciated.

PC is able to use fastboot utilities ok but just wont detect it as a removable storage device so i cant load any ROMS onto the SD

if i let the phone try to boot normaly i get about 10 seconds of home screen and it reboots and cycle continues.
but while phone is connected and running home screen i get a new CD drive which i cant access and also device manager reports HTC with drivers required.
problem is HTC dont have drivers and phone re boots within 10 or so seconds and when it does the device vanishes
ive read through all the threads with similar issues but none have solved my problem.
my phone is bricked until i solve this and im freaking out cause its only 5 days old.
ive been reading forum for past 2 days and nothing has helped me
USB mount has never worked on CWM for our device (Snapdragon S4 version of the One X). Its a known issue.
CWM doesn't really support our device, its just a port. And it has huge issues (USB mount being just one of them) because of that. You can install a custom recovery that actually supports our device, TWRP. Head over to the Development forum and find the TWRP thread, and it should tell you how to flash TWRP over adb.
Most (if not all) of our devs recommend being on TWRP.
I am not able to mount sd card from cwm
can't partition non -vfat error

[Q] One X on Three now on Jellybean and No Mount??

Hi,I am on Mac OSX Lion and since i upgraded to Jellybean I am not able to mount my one x as the USB mode to mount disc drive has disappeared?
Any ideas?
Thanks!
First off, this should be posted in Q&A not general. This thread will probably be moved.
I haven't really used JB Sense but do you not get the prompt to select Disk Drive or charge only when you plug in your phone via the USB?
In JB they removed the mounting prompt, now your phone should just be recognized automatically, There is no Disk Drive Mode anymore.
hi
sorry for posting in the wrong area, there is no prompt to mount the disc on the phone anymore, before you could click in the phone and change USB from Charging to mount as disc, and its not appearing in Finder in OSX, thanks for your help

[Q] Bricked Nexus S help?

Hello,
I believe I might have bricked my Nexus S (i9020a) due to the following:
- I (accidentally) wiped my ROM, cache, memory, sdcard, everything, in CWM - including the .zip containing the new ROM to be flashed
- Neither of my PCs (Win7 x64, Win8) can recognize my phone, both give a code 10 error and neither can properly communicate with the phone with ADB drivers (google, CWM, Samsung sources)
- I'm stuck in CWM and I cannot seem to mount /sdcard, mounting USB and sideload are not successful in being seen by PC
- Because I can't communicate with phone via USB, I can't even fastboot a different img (twrp, etc) to attempt to mount /sdcard
- Now I'm not sure if my USB port is damaged either (charges, doesn't seem to mount)
All of the above are separate issues I've found plenty of posts for, but I've them all at the same time. So, unless I can find a way to communicate to my phone and push over a ROM zip, my phone is done. Thoughts?
Thanks,
jcjchung
