i am new to rooting and would like some help pointing me in the right direction to help me root my lg g3, king root does not work for me.

I have tried everything with this model phone anywhere from Geohot's towelroot to framaroot. I have tried everything. If there is someone who could help me root this phone or know of any proven method of rooting this model with 4.4.2 I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you in advance.

I am located in Philippines and i want to know how will i make this phone useful here.
Does it need to be rooted? So that i can use my sim here?or do i need it to change from stock to CyanogenMod? Please help me guys...
