I was told by an online shop that it won't fit and that's why I want to confirm from someone who has it.

Compatible with All Qi-Certified Smartphones
The Samsung Universal Wireless Charging Vehicle Dock is compatible with all Qi-certified devices ranging in size from 4" to 5.7", including Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S 5, Galaxy Note 3, and Galaxy Note 4. All models require a Samsung Wireless Charging Battery Cover or Wireless Charging S-View Cover (sold separately). With the Wireless Charging S-View Cover installed, you can fold back the folio cover to give you full access to the screen for navigation and more – the phone will still charge wirelessly, even with the folio tucked back behind the phone.

Just like @denson said it should work.

Ask the seller's customers service. Their answer is most accurate.

[Q] VÜ-mate Wireless Charging Receiver Card

Can someone tell me is the Vu-mate Wireless Charging Receiver Card(www .tylt.com/vu-mate/) compatible with the Note 4?
I'm thinking of buying it together with the TYLT VÜ Wireless Charger
No, it doesn't appear to be compatible. The card needs to be made to fit the phone, and each phone is configured differently- looks like Vu only has them for the S4, S5, and Note 3 at this point. However, there are several Qi receiver cards already on the market for the Note 4, you can get them on Amazon or Ebay pretty easily. From what I've seen this looks like the best option:
http://www.amazon.com/YooTech®-Stan...qid=1415965544&sr=8-1&keywords=yootech+note+4
This one doesn't interfere with NFC (a lot of them stop NFC from working), and it's the only one I've seen that will still allow the S-View function if you want an S-View cover. It's only 0.6mm thick which is about as thin as they get too, and I believe other people here on the forums have already got it and confirmed that it works well.
Of course, you can also always just go with the Samsung branded wireless charging backs, either the standard cover or the S-View one- they're both available in the Samsung store or from other internet sources. The S-View Qi cover is $69.99 and the normal Qi back is $34.99, but if you register your phone with Samsung you get a coupon for 50% off any accessories under $50 from the Samsung store so the normal Qi back ends up only being $17.49, which is a pretty awesome deal. It is a bit thicker than the non-Qi back though, so if you want to use a case you'll probably be better off with the Yootech card.
In any case, all of these options should work just fine with the Tylt Vu, or with pretty much any other Qi charger as well for that matter.
Hi Bojan,
Thank you for contacting TYLT customer support. The VU Mate for the Note 4, we will have it in the middle of December. Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,

Note Edge Flip Wallet Qi Wireless Charging (DIY)

i cant post any link here as im a new user but you can go to youtube and search "Note Edge Flip Wallet Qi Wireless Charging (DIY)" to check it out
i cracked open the original samsung qi wireless back and attach the qi receiver to the flip wallet back, anyone is interested in more details please let me know
Guide?
I would love if you could go over the steps on how you integrated the receiver into the flip cover. In the video I see the flip wallet clock still works since it's tied to the magnet in the cover, not the back cover contacts (got creative with the Gear Circle to test this). Does NFC work correctly?
Also curious of NFC works.

Very interested in this answer. Would be a good dolar savings to reuse the innards and would be a great combo with the leather case (like the video.).
Steps and pic if possible?
sorry guys I've been busy past few days couldn't reply earlier. for your questions:
1. NFC works perfectly
2. Require the original note edge qi receiver (from the original case as there is no 3rd party qi receiver out there yet) as you can see below the qi receiver connectors need to match the phone's terminals (i.e. the L shaped below the sd card slot and the one above the battery
and regarding steps, unfortunately i did not take video or pix while cracking open the original case and attaching to the flip wallet but i''ll try my best to explain here
1. this is how the original case looks like (pic1)
2. use a knife to start cracking the 4 corners then sides of the plastic piece in the middle which has the qi receiver attached underneath and this is how it looks after detaching it from the case (of course the qi receiver should be there too but mine is already glued to my flip wallet now) (pic2)
3. you should fine the qi receiver is glued to the plastic piece (the left one in pic2) but can be removed easily (with care also!) by hand
4. on the flip wallet you should see a chip attached to it (pic3) please make sure that is removed before attaching the qi receiver on it as one of the qi connectors is at the same spot so without removing the chip on the flip wallet you can't attach your phone properly to the wallet
5. after removing the chip, place the qi receiver on the flip wallet at the same positions as where the connectors should be touching the phone's terminals (pic4)
6. DONE!
NFC works, wireless charging works and edge panel responds to the flip wallet cover! do it at your own risk but it is pretty straight forward!
ENJOY!

No that is original Qi back for Edge. Note 4 terminals are in different place. You can get that from Korea. Or eBay for $37+$19 shipping.

that is correct, note 4 has different terminals than note edge. and for your information, i have checked with 2 companies which manufactures 3rd party qi receivers for samsung phones both said they do not have plan yet on making one for edge (guess from profit perspective edge is a limited production phone) and that is why i went ahead to DIY one using the original note edge qi case

From the pictures it looks like he used a type of frabic tape.
I'm sure he will chime in with that he did.
I thought about doing this from the start , I don't like the thickness of the charging backs. So I was going to rip the guts out and put in on the OEM back.
But that's alot of money just to rip it apart.
I had the thin small pad for my Note 3 and it only cost about $10. So I think I'll wait on the note edge buntil they get the thin pads aslo.
My qi case came in and I did the mod for the wallet case.
It works perfectly! Thanks OP!

Just to be clear this mod was done from an Edge Qi back cover to a waller case back cover. Im guessing to avoid the extra thickness added by the Qi backing.
Can this be done to the original backing that comes with the note edge so that I can have Qi with the simple backing and no extra thickness

Yep that works, I have done that for one of my friends who complained the qi cover is too thick
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEuXId2WV9w
This could be a quick and easy way to do this whole mod but I think I want to keep the ability to use the usb port in case I need quickcharge or use the port for mass storage.
Also does anyone know what amperage the OEM case allow. Cause I saw that Samsung official Qi chargers are 2amp but most only deliver 1amp from what i know.
On bottom L sharp pins; pin of inside is + 5v and pin of out side is ground. you can mod samsung s5 wireless charger receiver to install. (pin of wireless charger receiver s5 is opposite compare to note edge). so i trip off plastic cover of receiver and pull up pcb sidedown to made compatible pins .
Cons: due to wireless receiver is 1.0 compatible=used ic bq5101xx = max 1000ma.
note edge can handle 1700 ma so receiver get hot;
Solutions: used usb charger under 1000ma or connect 2 wireless receiver in parallel way. (1 up and 1 down; coils are center and symmetric).

How do I wirelessly charge the Edge?

How do I wirelessly charge the Edge? (We're talking phones here, not guitarists.)
For my S5, I have a Koolpad Qi wireless charger. with a S5 PWRcard - Qi Wireless Charging Receiver Card Coil, installed in the phone.
How do I achieve the same for my Edge? I have seen talk of back covers. (Excuse my ignorance.)
That it's the way, you need to buy the QI back cover. If you still have the Koolpad it should work.

I have been craving a wireless charging phone for a while, unfortunately there were a ton of other gadgets that I wanted first. So I was excited to finally get setup of both a Qi wireless standard transmitter, and a receiver for my Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
These are from the Itian brand, distributed by Double-S. The transmitter is very well made. It is super solid, and finished in a flat matte finish, and it has rubber anti-slide pieces applied where your phone sites to prevent it from sliding off the charger/transmitter. There is a "red" light on the bottom when it is plugged in via the supplied MicroUSB cable. The light turns on when it is actively charging your device.
The receiver for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 fit my phone perfectly. As you can see in the above video, it is really very easy to install/attach this device. There is a small piece of tape to hold it in place.
Installing this receiver does add a very small "bulge" to the back of the phone, but it is really not very noticeable. My Spigen Neo Hybrid case was easily reattached, and I am still able to enable the wireless recharging with the case installed.

Case(s) that fit the Samsung Note 4 with Wireless Charging Back cover?

Does anyone who know or own the Samsung Note 4 with the Wireless Charging Back Cover (see link above) know which cases (especially wallet/folio style cases) fill fit with the phone and this wireless back cover as I understand it fits abit thicker then the stock cover?
Thanks

I was faced with the problem as you. I ordered the official Samsung wireless charging back, but it would not fit in my Seidio case. I returned the Samsung back and ordered a bare charging coil that will fit under the standard back. No problem with charging or any other functions and it fits in my Seidio case.
Mike
WHich charging coil do you recommend? WOuld it charge at the same rate as the Samsung version? Will I also loose NFC functionality if I did it this way?

This is the one that I'm using:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R3WK2LU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
Not sure about the charging rate compared to Samsung. It is Qi standard so I would guess there is little difference. It claims 600mA. It is NOT a quick charge, more like an overnight charge. I have not tested the NFC part but the answered questions say that it is OK.
I have the same problem with my spigen case, now I got a hold of the s charger back. I'm really torn now, as I love the little stand the spigen comes with, but the official samsung back on the s charger pad wide seems to charge in double quick time.
I see the suggested workarounds and might consider them, but still nobody knows of an actual case which fits the note 4 with the wireless back?

There is a huge thread in this subforum with a dozen of pages referencing cases that fit the charging back (yes they exist) and various workarounds. Here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...se-note-4-samsung-qi-charging-t2958395/page13
I just moved the coil from the Samsung charging back into the regular back, and it's no thicker than it was without the coil, and so any case could continue to fit - whether it will charge through the case is another matter.
any with a 2-3w charge output? 600a would take forever.

Moving the coil to the stock back is really the only way to go. It charges fine and the NFC works.
I went for month trying cases that fit that bulge and even the ones that "fit" threatened to pop off at any moment.
Here is a guide to moving the coil:
(HOW-TO) Move receiver coil from OEM Wireless back to stock cover. (LOTS OF PICS)
