Mobile Data warning messing with AutomateIt - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

How can I get the Mobile Data warning to not show up? I believe this is preventing me from turning off mobile data with AutomateIt or Tasker. Running CleanROM 1.5

I use this in Tasker to turn Mobile Data off:
Action: Run shell
Command: svc data disable
Check Use Root option

Don't know what's going wrong, but it isn't working. When I test the task, I get the green light, but it doesn't turn off data.

I see! Yes I have root checked, but in your first post you wrote "svc disable data" where you actually have it as "svc data disable"
I couldn't spot that because I'm running totally in the dark with shell commands.
Thank you! It works!

Oops, sorry about that. Glad you got it working.

network Problems

Hi
When i boot my phone i get network problems.
firstly it was "Restricted access changed" then voice services blocked
to fix this i have to goto menu network settings. change network mode to wcdma and then network operators then automatic.
but i have to do this everytime the phone boots. what is the problem?
First you posted this in the dev section instead of the Q&A section.
Second, you failed to mention what network you are on and what ROM you are using etc.

Ill report post. and get a mod to move it.
And t-mobile UK and get same problem with stock and leedroid
it started happening after the bootloader was unlocked.
you should try a manual network select.

Well obviously automatic doesn't work fine. So why not try a manual and reboot a couple times to see if anything changes...

Works for me. Does it only happen for XDA?

The error is far too vague to jump to that conclusion. It's a possibility though, which is why I said 'probably' in my previous post.

i want the stock without rooting my phone..
Without root I don't think it's possible but you can use apps like power toggles, or if you root you can do this using gravity box without needing any costume roms

theres no way to do it on stock without root.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.painless.pc
This app requires root for functions like reboot and wireless adb but not for torch.

If you don't want root or custom ROM, just wait for Android L. Its integrated.

Did you change anything in the build prop? Like from user to debug? Or try And activate multi window?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using XDA Free mobile app
I did change something in the build.prop. I'll change it back and see if that works. Thanks!
Edit: I swapped the original build.prop back and still no luck getting rid of the debug buttons

If it acts like multi window does after switching build prop back android retains the multi window functionality. I bet if ya dirty flash the rom again it may make it go away

Edit: I figured it out! I had Switch Access turned on in the Accessibility settings. Turning it off solved the problem. Thanks again for the responses!

backup all your data, pics etc, and perform a factory reset.
Here we go again. Why not switch to iOS?

factory reset shouldnt effect root. the root files are not in the data partition, which would be wiped by a reset.
after the reset, just install su app if it wasnt a system app and you should have root back. if it was a system app, you should have root right away.
OP, just uncheck "set mobile data limit", change the 100 gigs to 2 gigs, and then check that same box again. You should be able to change it after that.
