Htc thunderbolt root problem

I tried the one click root and when i open up rom manager it states you must root your phone for rom manager to fuction. I do have superuser downloaded. Any ideas?

You could root your mobile , replace the recovery and unroot it.

I'm currently using the Max Plus. It's perm rooted using Kingroot.
I was wondering if there were any Lollipop ROMs currently available or if there was a way to unlock the bootloader.
