[Completed] How to port new mediatek 64bit processors mt6732/mt6752 roms - XDA Assist

Recently I brought a mobile which runs mt6732 chipset . unlike previous mediatek
32bit processors .it have some new features in it like "support fastboot commands"
And also able to handle apps without any lag . I try to port some ROM to my device
But its not working .all the porting procedures present available in the internet are only able to work with 32 bit processors only . there is not even a single method is
Present in internet .I request the developers to write a working procedure to port a mediatek mt6732 processors .
Not only me there are lots of people want a proper method to port 64bit mediatek processors ROMs.it will very helpful for all .so provide a proper procedure for these new chipset devices.
Thank you XDA. Love you xda dev for your support and development in Android OS.

Hi!
I see you've created several Assist threads, and always been given the link to Android Q&A... Here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
Please use that link instead of returning to Assist. I see you've yet to post in that section. And as said before, XDA Assist is here to help navigate the site, not for support. So please, use the link above. :good:
Good luck!

no, because win mo 7 CAN'T work on our devices due hardware limits(cpu speed, WIN7 needs 1GHZ cpu at minimum)

[Completed] [ please reply fast ] overclocking mtk processors, need help

I have recently read on xda that mediatek is going to provide source code, does this means that mtk cpu can be overclocked like mt6575.
I am going to buy micromax unite 2 today it has mt6582 processor, itis possible to overclock it once the source code is available.
Hi!
No one can answer your question for certain. Until source is released, it seems no, you can't overclock. And when it is released, devs will need to work on custom kernels with overclocking ability.
So this discussion is all speculation. Personally, I'd never buy a device with hopes that one day I might be able to do something. I buy a device that suits my needs now. Cause nothing is ever a sure thing in the future.
Anyway.....if you want to ask this question and discuss it with others ...our general Q&A section would probably be the place for it. XDA Assist is not a place for discussions.

Hello Guys,
Just had a question why there is no development for Karbonn S5+ on xdaforum.
It is such a great device, lighweigh, quadcore , very slip and MT6582 processor used in Android One Platform.
Please make development for this device, I want to use Android Lollipop in it, I know its not out yet but soon will be and S5+ will be great device to use it as it is similar to Android one devices.
I am even ready to pay for it, and sure other S5+ owners will be.
Please do the development on it.
Thank you.

[Completed] [REQUEST] Android 5.0 ROM for Karbonn Titanium s1 plus

Can anyone please port a Lollipop ROM for karbonn titanium s1 plus?
It has snapdragon 200 processor and aderno 305 GPU with 1 GB RAM.
Thanks.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. The purpose of XDA Assist is not to provide technical support but to point you in the right direction to get your question answered. Porting roms is very time consuming so unless you find someone who has the same device and the technical knowledge to port the rom it is going to be difficult to get someone to do it for you. You might try your hand at porting. here are some guides that could help:

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. There is no area specifically dedicated to Lowa OS but I see a few threads about that OS from a site search at http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=lowaos which might be worth reviewing. Since you don't specify which device using the snapdragon 615 you have in mind, I can't point you towards a device-specific forum, but merely suggest that you may also find it useful (and possibly educational) to browse our "XDA University" entries at http://xda-university.com which cover a variety of topics for both users and developers alike. Not all data there is always up-to-date but it covers a wealth of information in one convenient place. You may also want to ask your question (without the oversize font, please!) with all relevant details in the friendly general Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help. That's a good place to start where members familiar with your OS and device might be able to advise you.
Good luck!
