Hello Thank you for using XDA Assist
It seems like you have an issue here with three different devices.
Please have you searched for each device specific forum through XDA?

Hello everyone,
This is my first ever post on XDA and I came here out of desperation.
Today I had rooted my galaxy s5 without any problems. Then I wanted to back my ROM up by using CWM.
I opened up CWM, backed my ROM up and rebooted my phone. This is where it all stopped working.
Homescreen didn't show up. All I'm seeing now when I power up my phone is "settings has stopped working".
Sometimes it shows something else and I just tap ok and another app would show up that ''has stopped working''.
I don't know what to do. I don't care about doing a factory reset. I just want to get some of my files back.
Forgive my extreme lack of knowledge.
BlearX
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately, the s5 has a locked bootloader and you can't flash cwm on it. I would suggest you follow this to get your device running again. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51494717. Then look in the gs5 forum, general, and q&a, for further information. It's always good to do a lot our reading about your device before you do anything with it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5 Start with the stickied threads

I recently bought an unlocked att htc one m7 and am currently using it on tmobile. After messing with the apn settings i got all the data and mms working, but i still cant figure out how to upgrade it. I downloaded the RUU from htc and tried running that but whenever it starts up the bootloader i will get an error and it will say usb malfunction and then nothing. I also tried to load the rom itself onto the phones root, but when i boot in recovery mode i will select to flash from internal and it will quickly load a few short lines of code that go too fast to read (i think it says failed) and then reboot instantly. Ive been at this for hours and cant find this particular problem anywhere. If anyone can help me, i just want the normal unmodded updates without unlocking my bootloader or turning s-off. Im running android 4.1.2 currently

Hi, thanks for using XDA assist!
First, please create an account so you can post in other forums.
Have you tried a factory reset from recovery? That might help.
Also, after creating your account, you can ask for help here:

Hi, One of our games is having multiplayer issues on Google Play due to it not supporting Lolipop.
We figured we would take our Galaxy SM-G900x phone that a client sent us and then using the info that iorya984 posted would do the trick.
Now the phone can still be readied for download with Odin but on boot up it asks for Kies to fix a botched upgrade.
Any help on this would be massively appreciated! We really do not want to buy a new phone. Even if we could flash it with the original SM-G900x rom I would be happy. (save us having to buy 2 phones.)
Cheers!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It looks like someone else has had the same issue and has posted a solution to your issue. See this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733083 If you have further questions try posting in that thread as they are more familiar with the device than anyone on XDA Assist.
Hello everybody,
So I was trying to flash my phone with a new rom and did not do any good in the "back-up part" of the flashing.
So here I am, I have a Samsung Galaxy S3, GT-I9300.
I have ClockwordMod Recovery V6.0.4.7 running on it.
I can't reach the phone with ADB.
Kingoroot can't find it.
I've tried 4 USB ports, and two cables (one of them worked just fine 10 hours ago).
I've tried several USB drivers, and "yes" I did remember to unplug the phone while reinstalling the driver.
Here I am, 25+ hours in the process... I don't know what the ... to do. Please help me.
I hope you're out there, greetings....
On a note, I have checked if there are other ones who have had alike problems, but I found no-one being in the same stupid situation as me.
