So there's a preinstalled malware on a chinese tablet, which installs DU apps (battery saver, etc.). ESET shows thats its the online update, which is a HiddenApp. G trojan (https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/...ef9ea8c19454ced640ebedc89f3380332c4/analysis/). So how can i remove it? ESET doesnt want to remove it because its a system app, i contacted ESET via email and they sent me to their forums, no answers yet. I tried a removal tool too but it seems it wont work. How can i remove it? Android 4.4.2 , Smailo Titanius.
BTW: I cant find the file suggested by virustotal. Any help?
Simplest way is tonroot device and just delete the .apk file in system folder

Since it's a Chinese tablet with an mtk processor, you may be able to simply root it with a one click app. I know those Chinese root apps aren't better but it could be the most simple result. Try kingroot, baidu root, stuff like that.

Correctly said. You do not have to alter system and all so a temporary root permissions will also work forbyou

Thanks , It's rooted already, and there wasnt exactly an apk, I only found the app's (mentioned by ESET) package name with package name viewer, and deleted it at internal/data/data folder, I hope this helps. (BTW I haven't found the whole app (.apk), only the data stuff.)
The app name is not exactly what data package shows.
The data is like com.bla.bla abd app name is a sensable one simple.
You have to find that the data which you deleted was created by which app.
Still deleting data cant solve the problem becauae when that app will run it will again create that data

Try /system/app and look for the apk, be careful though deleting a wrong one could result in a soft brick but your probably smarter than that.

To install an app the PlayStore wont let you install do the following (You will need at least one device compaible with the phone)
Install ESFile explorer on the Device with the working App.
Tap On App Manager then Select and HOLD the Application you want.
From the List Select Back-Up
Then Back out back to the first page, and find the Backup folder, and go into it, then into the Apps folder.
Your see the APK backed up.
Then Press and HOLD, and select SHARE.
Share the file to your DropBox
You can then grab the file on your PC and install anyway you see fit.
If you have Unknown sources ticked, you can also then open Dropbox on the Nexus 7, navigate to the folder you shared it to, and install it from there. (Simples)
You could also share the file Via Bluetooth, I have not tested to see if it will let you install the file, but I cant see why not) (Thanks for the idea Gogeta)
I installed and am now using BT Smart talk this way.
Hope this helped someone.
If you find a simpler way please post it.
If I managed to help, please say Thanks.

As Per Title, This is for files that PlayStore WON'T let you install. So no way to install it. The .APK may not be available elsewhere, like BT Smart Talk.

Good thinking.
I'll give it a try.

If you go to /system/data/apps all installed apps go in there, as far as i know. Is this what your trying to get? That way you can skip the backup and save any space that it takes up.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Or, you could use Quixer to send it straight over to the other device, no matter the distance. I like the Bluetooth idea as well though, that would be the easiest for single, close range sharing.

You should be rooted in order to access internal memory from your phone. Or use adb to pull the apk.
There's also lucky patcher but shouldn't share it in xda.

Hello there.
After Samsung Apps update to Galaxy Apps I can't install any app.
If I uninstall the update , the Samsung App do not allow me even to search. Have anyone this issue to?
Other thing, I'm using Gnabo_v5 and the Quick Command isn't working, is it normal?

Can anyone help me?

A little bit brute force but you could flash the system.img with fastboot from 5.0 factory image and that would probable get rid of it

Can anyone give any info that where can I complain/request for this option.
Because it's an essential option that we need.
Complain!!?? You could try the g+google android forum but it's for serious problems. I know this is a big thing for you and I'm not making light of it but the world won't stop turning over it. Did you press simmler apps? There may be something that does not need root. Why not root? It's so simple. You don't need to change roms or anything. It's just very usefull for things like this
