[Tut][I9001] How to convert ODIN ROMs to Recovery Flashable ; Simply :)

Hi
Here's the simplest way to convert an Odin ROM to Recovery flash able ! I know there were topic similar but this is different !
## HOW TO CONVERT AN ODIN ROM TO RECOVERY FLASHABE ! ##
1- Open ODIN ROM .tar with winrar ( If you couldn't you can use root explorer or Sth else )
2- delete all file except system.IMG.ext4 & recovery.img.ext4 & boot.IMG.ext4
3- Remove .ext4 from their name if there were !
4-Now you should have system.img and recovery.img and boot.img
5- Download my tool from HERE
6- Extract it s zip into an emptey folder
7- Now you should have an empty folder with META-INF folder in it !
8- Move System.img & boot.img & recovery.img to folder
9- Now you should have this files in folder :
Code:
/example-folder :
META-INF
System.img
Boot.img
Recovery.img
10- zip folder ( might take a few minutes depend on your hardware )
11- Flash it from recovery
12- Full wipe and reboot system !
13- Enjoy ! And if it was useful please press thanks button ;

YES ! but you can choose not to change it by removing recovery.IMG and its related line in updater-script !

I just have two simple questions:
1.- Will this work for the Galaxy S II (i9100) ?
2.- The tutorial ends in the step No. 10 right? Everything else from there are just the common instructions for flashing roms, right?

you can use it to flash only rom, only kernel, only recovery and every combination you like

yes, hypnos17 made a similar thread, but this is a bit simpler. i think that everyone could follow the steps of one thread or the other if they prefer, don't you think? this is not a copy of hypnos work, its a different one to make the same thing. he found another way that is faster and simpler, if it's pointless how we will get better and better?

Hi
1- No&Yes ! You can use this in I9100 but with some changes in method , you can ask one of your dev to make this possible for I9100
2- Yes tut ends when you make tar file and flash it in one package !

But I don't want to ask directly to the devs via pm because no one else will learn.
In the other hand, I was unable to find in google or xda a thread with the how-to for the i9100... I don't think that any thread like that exist.
Would you like to be the first one in creating that thread and receiving tons of thanks?

Can't change bootanimation in Sprint LS996
Hi,
Tried to change the boot-animation in Sprint LS996 Flex 2 but the yellow original Sprint boot-animation is still visible during boot.
Any ideas why can't change it?
I did copy the zip file to /system/media/ and changed the file name (backup the original) and changed the file permissions to RW-R-R
as the original Sprint boot-animation file.

Found the solution for the issue, because this is Sprint custom Rom the files are located within custom location:
/carrier/cust/poweron
/carrier/cust/poweroff

am also interested in answer to this question there is only system.zip ...
phone must be rooted ? here is a root method ... but H955 ... have read that some guys have unrooted their phones but when they atried tu get LG update system thold error > PHONE WAS ROOTED ...
I have no intention to break my warranty
So is there also a 100% working unroot procedure ?

Hello Mr I Dont Say That I am The Developer Of This Applocation I Just Find It From Noble Rom v2.0 And Uploaded It .
I'm not insulting the programmer to programmer has its place because the program does not bug I've just upload it to download user.
The Developer Name Is Rremi And Im Not The Developer of This App Im Just The Developer Of Android Thanks :crying: :fingers-crossed:

He used my display fix in his setting . He is not the developer of it . When you are not mentioning it as you said you prepare this it means you are being that . As i said i know your main language is persian . But this dosent mean you dont have to read to rules . You are not allowed to take any file from any rom without any permission and just share it . You did not even mentioned or credit anyone . Read xda term of services and you will understand that you are not allowed to do anything like this -_-

1) even if you found it in any rom, you still can't spam it making a thread without the permission of the rom dev, his core team and of course the dev of the fix/file.
2) you can not air the file on a thread or publicise it under your name. Making a thread just for no valid reason is not acceptable.
3) read the rules and at least if you want to make any thread - stay well informed. @Whiskey103 can you please intervene
