[Completed] Lost all access to xda forum last night - XDA Assist

Have been doing a lot of reading while working on 2 devices, but no posts. Suddenly lost complete access in both Firefox and IE with report server did not respond. Flushed DNS, but no joy. Domain testing websites reported the forum servers were up.
Tried again this morning, but same result. I'm at work now, and am obviously getting access here.
Any ideas what happened with my home access or how to troubleshoot?
TIA

Thank you for using XDA Assist.
This is not the correct forum for your question as XDA Assist exists to guide users to the correct area to locate their answers for their device.
I would suggest you can either email an admin if the issue continues or post in the General section.
Servers not connecting does occur from time to time it may just be that was the case. Several have reported that they had issues connecting last night as well.
I will close this thread and mark it complete.
Good luck
Ragnar.

What's wrong with the forum?

I keep getting kicked out of my CP, when I try to look at my messages or subscription lists. I keep getting sent to the login page, no matter how many times I log in. I've tried several computers, all with different isp's, and my phone, nothing works right now, frustrating. Not even sure it'll let me post this.
It did and should not have. Not here!

[Completed] [Logcat] Help diagnosing no MMS receive in GO SMS Pro

I'm having an issue in Go SMS where it will send MMS fine, but will always say it is unable to download any I have received. Strangely, it works fine when using the stock messaging app. I have done a thorough search on Google and XDA and have only found recommendations of altering the API or changing the settings within the app. I have spent hours researching and trying anything and everything. I've emailed the developers who have not yet responded to me and it's been two weeks. I left a negative Play Store review about their lack of assistance. Their response and proposed solution using their in-app method to help fix it doesn't function properly.
This is why I have come ask the magnificent XDA community to assist me in fixing this issue. This feels like my last resort.
I'm linking a logcat of the issue (I know that this typically contains the info of what the problem is, although I have no idea how to read one) in hopes that someone can at least tell me why this is happening and hopefully how to fix it.
Please help!

Hi there,
XDA Assist is not a support forum, we just provide navigational assistance.
Since your problem is with an app, I suggest posting in the General > Questions & Answers forum, though if you think your problem may be related to your phone or ROM, then I would ask in the forum for your phone, or the Q&A for the ROM you're using.

[Completed] Mail (POP/SMTP) error on Android 4.2.2 in some networks

Hi there,
I'm having trouble connecting to mail servers on an Alcatel POP C7 w/android 4.2.2
I'm using MailMaster, but problems persists with other mail clients.
It occurs in a specific network, a DSL network with wifi router ZyXeL P-660W T1. I think it occured in some other public network.
I get a "Errno Exception: isConnected".
This same mail account is used with same settings in laptop computers without any problems, even in same network.
Any ideias?
Thanks.
Hello,
Welcome to XDA.
That doesn't sound like a problem in the android side, that sounds like a problem with the system you are connecting to
You might be better off finding a PC forum for this issue.

Thanks for your feedback... On this one everyone seems to be saying the problem is somewhere else. Alcatel says problem is with internet provider, internet provider says problem with android... I hope the experts can help me on the other forum. Thanks for the tip...

[Completed] LGL15g... We... the less fortunate.!

Firstly, allow me to thank the wonderful people here at xda for a great site that that obviously helps out so many folk with such diverse problems.!
Okay... I am originally versed and quite happy with my LG G2 (ATT rooted.. again thanx xda) but without finances to replace my broken touch screen, I have been on an extended temporary demotion to the cheapiest Android I could find... the StraightTalk LGL15g.
Trying once again to have 'free reign' over my OS (4.4.2 kitkat, same as the aforementioned G2) I rooted with chainfire's xda's link to Supersu (marked as 'stable'). It seemed to work fine with little to no obvious problems although very limited acess to files through Sqlite... then slowly deteriated in stability and is now resident to some very fustrating behaviours that I cannot find resolve for:
1) web pages 'refreshing' if I try to use an app or another web browser tab... and losing all my work (if the page had forms), and everything I had typed in 'reply' text boxes.
2) I can no longer upload photos to webpages oras attachments on emails.
The same 'refreshing' takes place. e.g. On facebook or other date sites that I use.. I click 'upload photo'... the file browser opens and I browse and select normally.. but when I 'ok it' instead of the upload process beginning, I am back to a refreshed page where I am prompted to 'upload photo' again.
ANY help, advice, or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.!

Incidentally, it is the reason I have no 'profile photo' or avatar on my account here

[Completed] Help! Keep getting "Ubertesters" update message

Hey guys,
For the past week I keep getting these annoying pop up fullscreen messages, something like:
"Please, install the latest Ubertesters hub version"
I can't recall downloaded any app lately, and I have no idea on where to begin...
What can I do?
Thanks!
Help, anyone?
Went through my app list, and I can't seem to find anything I didn't have for a long time time now. Nothing seems suspicious.
I have no idea what might cause this and it's freaking me out!
