I'm in the UK but for some reason my signal says lte not 4g is this due to the shop that fixed my phone flashing American firmware onto my device or how do I get it to be like the UK style as it should be
Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk 2
This isn't the way it should be on a UK phone
Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk 2
Even the date format is American as it displays the month first

does it really matter if it says 4g/lte? its the same thing, if you are that concerned about it flash a uk firmware using flashtool

When I received my XOOM it had asked for a sim card and all was working fine whether I use my mobile network or wifi, but after a latest update it has stopped reading sim card and mobile network settings are disabled,is it possible that Motorola pushed wifi only XOOM updates and it was not meant for this model?
P.S. I already tried factory reset.

No more 3G for you either. Sorry. :-(
That's bad, especially when you pay extra bucks to get a 3G supporting XOOM, thanks for the reply

EE is T-Mobile and Orange therefore the EE Rom is the one you need.

Should work. Is your IMEI still intact?
If you dial *#06# and have no IMEI then chances are if you are rooted then you used the wrong root package.

IMEI is present and correct. Think I might be returning it on Monday for a replacement

Thanks for the link. Finally got it working again. Visited an EE shop, asked to try the sim in one of their handsets, once powered on the connection worked. This led me to think it was either the handset or the firmware. Put the sim back in my phone and voila, the connection worked! For some reason it appears the simcard was acting up, cant explain why
If my device is rooted on a locked bootloader if I restored it back to unrooted stock will the warranty still be valid,as I think my device needs a repair
Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk 2
If you haven't unlocked your bootloader before, then warranty is still in tact. Anyway I reccomend to flash stock FTF just to remove any traces of root.
Thought so,thanks that's all I needed to know
Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk 2
I just send mine in for repair, and I left it rooted with bootloader untouched (still locked).
Warranty repairs had no problems
