Hi. I just installed the app ROM Toolbox from play store when i heard you could change boot animations using it. So i tried some boot animations and wasn't much satisfied so i tried one named "Stock-xperia play" or something like that. Everything was fine till then. But, when i rebooted my phone, the animation started and even ended, but nothing after that. It's stuck on the words "Sony Ericsson" even for an hour. I removed the battery and restarted the phone many times, but nothing helped. Could someone please help me out?? My phone's too precious for me. By the way my phone is a rooted Xperia L-C2104 running android 4.2.2, if that's needed for an appropriate solution.

Had you made a backup at any point? You should be able to use the external button combination to boot into recovery and restore your backup.

Hi, I'm quite upset and I don't really know what to do. You see, I bought I Nexus One and since I'm a computer tech (Network is my strong point and I also got a Professional diploma of informatics support)I thought I could go and mod my thing out. Thing is everything worked fine until I downloaded Cyanogen with Rom Manager Premium (Crack3d)and tried to install it. At first it simply shut down the screen, rebooted a few times and restarted normally, then I retried downloading and it brought me to the reboot in recovery mode to install cyanogen popup. Clicked ok and then it rebooted another 3-4 times and when it came back, it was cyanogen splash screen bugging and rebooting in the middle of the loading. I have Android SDK if that changes anything, I just really don't even know how to bring any sort of menu from my pc or my phone.
P.S. I didn't cleared cache and didnt do any backup[thats no that important].
Thanks

Hi guys...thanks for taking a minute to help me out.
I have been using the Cyanogenmod Nightlies for a few months, and have recently been experiencing a few random quirks since upgrading to the new version of Android. I decided that I'd do a full wipe and then install the new nightly. Everything worked fine, the phone booted, I could use apps, etc. Then, I decided to restore some of my apps and data from Titanium Backup.
It took about 40 minutes, and then finally got stuck on 98% which was "android data" or "system data" or something like that...i checked back a few minutes later and the phone was completely dead/frozen. I eventually pulled the battery and rebooted the phone, and now it's just stuck in a bootloop.
When I try to boot into recovery, it freezes on the "Samsung Galaxy S3" screen for a while, and then turns off. However, i CAN boot into download mode.
Can someone please point me in the right direction here? I know that android 4.2.2 reworks some of the system folders, making reverting back to a previous version difficult..? I don't know what to do. Really, I just need to be able to get into recovery, but I'm too ignorant to figure it out.
Thanks so much for taking the time to help me, it's very much appreciated!
hold tight, guys! for some reason, it booted into recovery after like the 50th try. hopefully i can figure it out from here! thanks

Since Android 4.x you don't have to uninstall system apps, as there is the option to Disable them, and this has the same effect as uninstalling, but much more safe.
You probably uninstalled something important... search for ways to rescovery the factory ROM to your tablet.
Hello. I Was wondering if someone can help me with a dilemma......... i recently got my mega a month ago. I then decided to root my mega (As i do with all my android devices)The rooting process worked out great. The phone booted.....Everything's all peachy! root was successful! After about 3 weeks i wanted to record my screen. By the way i was running kitkat on my mega. So i installed a screen recording program. i wanted to record the screen so i started the recording..... but it wasnt recording. it kept saying an error message i think it when like gpu is not supported and change to cpu something like that! i thought nothing of it... so i changed the settings to gpu then to cpu (Not knowing what i was doing) after it failed to record again i threw the towel in and quit. i then played one of my mobile games(FNAF2) after i lost the game i went back to the homescreen and the homescreen was acting up... it was in landscape mode when i had the phone upright. it was bugging me to the point where i just rebooted my device. i tried rebooting my device BUT IT WAS IN A BOOTLOOP! i had no idea what was going on. So i tried to restore the backup and it was restored but it was still in a bootloop. at this point i was freaking out! when i went home that day i put the device in download mode and flashed the stock firmware but it failed and didnt work. but when the phone rebooted it booted up and my phone was on activation screen and it was in a different language. then i soon found out that my touchscreen wasnt responding! neither was the home button or back button. i really dont know whats going on. kies does not work i tried emergency firmware initializing and kies didnt read it i tried reinstalling kies and my phones drivers 4 times and it was a no go...... but i finally found a english firmware and i flashed it but it failed and said something like dev_not supported or something so that didnt work either..... i booted up my phone and the language was back to english and my touchscreen wasnt working neither was my home buttons or anything. i also tried installing custom roms but everytime i try to install them it says it completed installing but when i boot up my phone its the same activation screen. i really need help anything that can help will be greatly appreciated. also everytime i boot up it always says set warranty bit:Kernal
Hello. I recently acquired a Lenovo A2107A-F tablet from a friend. I rooted it using an app I downloaded from the play store. The app did root it and was working fine. I then downloaded another app (can not remember the name) that allowed me to tweak/change settings, files, etc. I used that app to change the boot animation to a doctor who animation. Still working fine till the other day. I decided to change the animation to something different. This time I changed it to a Jurassic Park animation. That's when it stopped working. It will boot up and the animation will start and then the animation freezes the screen but the tablet keeps continuing to boot up. I went into the factory reset menu via the pwr bottun/vol + button and reset the eCCM (I think that is the right) to reset the tablet to factory. Didn't work. It's still doing the same thing. I have looked through a bunch of threads on this website and tried a lot of different stuff and I can't get anything to work. I think the main problem is I can not get my computer to recognize my tablet. I am running Windows 10 and all the drivers I've found don't appear to work and my computer wont let me open any files that contain executable code. Any and all help with this will be appreciated. Thanks!
