Nasty adware removal

Hey guys,
So I have this really annoying adware that pops up everytime I open Google Chrome and for the life of me I can't find where it's coming from.
I posted a screenshot of what it looks like. It only happens once I open a browser.
Here's what I've done and figured out :
-Everytime I uninstall Go Launcher EX it stops
-Can't be Go Launcher EX because my gf has it and doesn't get the adware
-I've removed all widgets from the screen with no luck
-I've uninstalled all free widgets with no luck
Last resort will be uninstalling all apps, but that'll be a pain so I'm trying to avoid it.
Any help on removing this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi there, I am having issue with my Lenovo laptop, its Windows 8 home basic. it is now running very poor and the CPU usage is increases high to 99.9%. So, when I open any of the program and PC, all get stuck. I run my anti-virus for a full scanning and detects the adware program which makes the PC slow, I guess. Otherwise antivirus can't remove it absolutely. That's why I need to know how to remove it altogether from my PC. Its so nasty that everything is messed up now. but when i search on the internet, something. i found this......virusspywaredisinstallazione.com/linee-guida-utile-per-sbarazzarsi-di-pup-optional-bestpriceninja-a-da-pc

lol funny popup
clean your phone and only put on apps that came with the phone from the factory.
check to make sure the problem is gone.
try installing only a couple extra apps at a time until you figure out which one is causing the problem. im betting its an app that did not come from the play store.

Weired Shortcut unremovable

Going nuts here. Did a factory reset a couple of times but no luck.
There's a short cut called "Web Games" that keeps showing up on my Home Screen. I cannot trace where it came from. The short cut opens a Website called "h5playlist.com" which is a simple HTML 5 based Game Website with a few random games. The Whois of the Website traces to a Chinese Domain Name Provider, ename.com, and the games are provided by a German HTML 5 Game company, softgames.de.
I have e-mailed both ename, and softgames but I'm not sure if they'll help. I have also tried to clean the phone with security software but nothing has helped so far.
Anyway, please suggest something, as this is bugging me out like crazy!
I tried every single antivirus but no one discovered it !

Note 3 n 900
web games shortcut
hi,exactly d same issue is happening to me.it started 2 days ago..i did exacrpy d same steps that you did but nothing solved it.the web games icon appera everytime i go online so it eventually creats multiple icons in my homescreen. there is also a urlresolver app on my app settings which i keep on uninstalling but it keeps on coming back automatically.i dont know if if has something to do qitj the web games icon issue..i have an O+ fabgo android phone
same problem for me with my Phicomm 660 unrooted mobile running Kitkat 4.4.4.Can somebody help to solve this issue?
I installed nova launcher over the default android launcher and it prevents me from seeing the autocreation of the Irritative shortcut on my screen.I think this is the temporary solution as of now.
There must be some adware that has been installed with either a downloaded app or preinstalled app. Removing the contaminated app could solve the problem. If you cannot find the the app that is doing this for example with malware scanners, the way to get rid of this adware is to restore factory settings.
If the problem is still present after restoring factory settings, the current ROM that is installed in the device must be infected. The solution to this would be to flash the device with a new clean ROM.
Solution:
If you are facing with web games short cut, here is answer for you.
Android:
Go to Settings > Application Manager > Click on running process 'All' > Force Stop & Disable "com.androidhelper.sdk".

How to remove recurring virus in android 4.4.2 lava iris atom 2

I have a virus on my phone device mentioned at the title. I have heard about it in some websites and 1 in xda too but it didn't help. I hard resetted it alot from the power and volume buttons. It still comes. My device was rooted using king root. The virus installs many apps . I do not know the exact file names. it was like asd.htj.zcx , zgf.iok.lkj etc. I get it every time i connect to the internet. It creates shortcut to porn sites (sex club, hot videos). I do not own the device its of my mom and she will be mad if she saw it. I couldn't suspect any apps that could do it i would have removed it if i could suspect it. It gives another type of ad about juggernaut champions, uc browser(which i already had). It displays full screen ads excluding the status bar stating launcher loading. It just draws its content over other apps as i noticed it while i hold down the home button i noticed the recent apps thing. And I discovered that if i turn off wifi its gone. Until the time i turn off wifi.
I couldn't install a custom rom as my phone is not detected in spreadtrum driver update tool.
The official update from lavamobiles.com fails halfway while verification.
I have a good experience on samsung devices. But i don't know about others
Plz help!! Fast!!!

If your mom hasn't killed you yet, follow these steps.
1. Download ES File Explorer from Google Play
2. Run app and navigate to the "Apps Page"
3. Sort installed apps by Date. Making the most recently installed apps appear first
3. Using Es File Explorer, unistall the suspicious looking apps. Or navigate to data/app or system/app and delete the apps manually. You can sort the files (apks) in the system/app folder by date. That should make it easier to locate the newly installed malware.
4. After you've removed all the suspicious apps, Reboot and connect to a WiFi/Mobile Data to make sure all the malicious apps are gone (you shouldn't get the pop ups or the shortcuts anymore)
5. If everything works as intended, uninstall ES File Explorer.
Thanks

Thank you!
But I already did that. :good::good::good:
I was inactive to reply if i am late i checked my email and got the reply.
The method was pretty much the same.
The differences from the method are:
I used link2sd to do so
and i found that they weren't in /system/app/ but in /system/priv-app/ .
I tried uninstalling them and it said reboot device. Still they were not uninstalled.
I have just frozen them. And now it works fine.
Good news for non rooted people you can disable the apps if you have the same virus.
If you still have the virus after disabling the apps then you can use link2sd without root and view the system apps and sort them acc to date.
The name of the apps are:
Android Media Service
catstudio
netalpha
org.rain.ball.update
PhoneService
Good news the device is mine now :laugh::laugh:
I classified the virus and its impacts and removed the explicit one.
And let my mom use facebook for a while i know it sounds cruel but i had to do it.
She had a experience from hell. Then i disabled the sim and said "Now even the sim doesnt work" :cyclops::cyclops::cyclops:

My device isnt detected in flash tool while it is detected in auto driver installer.

how do i get rid of a pop up ad?

This pop up ad appears many times a day.
Can't figure where its coming from and how to get rid of it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Download Malwearbytes and run a scan. Looks like adware.
Malwarebytes found nothing ugg
What happens if you go to your pull down from top notifications? I'd think it will show the running process. Hold your finger on it and should go to the 'notifications' setting for the app.
Start deleting questionable apps you downloaded recently.
I had an update recently installed on my Samsung s8. When I tried to play my music, my phone said I had to download Samsung Music Player, since then I've had ads popping up every 5 minutes. Every ad has the System UI logo and an app that I downloaded to monitor app usage confirmed it also. When I go into advanced setting or admin settings the buttons are blocked. Some say to delete any unusual apps, but how can I tell which apps or stock apps I really need?
Which music player did you install?
I agree with the Malwarebytes, you might also want to check out your skin theme. Some have sneaky ways of rolling out ads to your phone.
