I ordered from this seller and couldn't be happier. Its the best case available for the Epic imo.
You can buy it now for $8+shipping or do what I did and use Auctionsniper. I picked mine up for $7 shipped. Sprint stores sell them for $19.99

I personally have that case, its absolute horse ****. The tabs on the case snap off or wear down. The back rubber area is held on by cheap adhesive, and starts to peel off. I've had this case for 2 months and its falling apart. Theres a reason why its so cheap, its because its garbage.
these are definitely not otterbox cases.
It looks like this: http://www.igear360.com/2010/09/01/review-sprint-protective-cover-czs6842r-for-the-samsung-epic-4g/
Which as stated above is not an otterbox.
I have one too. The case itself is alright, nothing fantastic. Good deal for $8
It makes the phone a helluva lot bigger (to be expected), but it does stop my screen from wobbling, so that's a huge plus.
I'd also like to point out that it isn't Otterbox.

The case being sold in those auctions is the same as the one on the Sprint website, take a look and compare.
I'm using the RF one from BestBuy. I'm thinking of getting a cheap rubber one and seeing if I can cram the RF one in for actual protection lol. I'm curious, what are you using?
I just ordered one for my sons triumph on Amazon..its a rubberized plastic black one I do believe.. should be in sometime this week. Didn't really like the one from best buy & had a hard time finding a decent one because none of the ones I found shipped until the 15th but they're all pretty much the same.. and only like $6 or $7 bucks plus shipping. Probably not the best but its better than nothing...
I bought one of those $6 black silicone cases from eBay and I'm very happy with it. The power button is easier to press now and I don't accidentally hit the volume buttons all the time (though they're also easier to press when i need them.) I didn't have to cut anything like some people have reported, as all the mic/speaker/led holes are in their proper places. Quality is about on par with the [much more expensive] Marware case I have my old iPod in.
I don't like cases so I ordered a neoprene pouch off ebay.. it looks exactly like the one for the nexus one if you know what that looks like.. good to protect the phone when it's in my pocket

I went ahead and slurged for the Rocket Fish case over the weekend, pretty happy with it: nice, tight fit and adds very little bulk to the phone. The phone still fits in my leather belt pouch. The case rounds out the Triumph's corners and gives the phone a surer grip. I am much more comfortable carrying my $300 phone around now and I'm very glad I bought the case.
I still wish that Otterbox would come out with a case for us, but the Rocket Fish will do for now.
Motorola Triumph Rubberized Hard Protector Case - Smoke Diagonal Checker
I can't post a link due to me being a new member but search " Motorola Triumph Rubberized Hard Protector Case - Smoke Diagonal Checker " on Amazon.
I received the shipment on time as the order said it would. I opened the mail package to find a very sturdy case with a comfortable soft touch with a bit of grip. Not too much grip that will make it grip to anything; additionally, exactly enough comfort to feel durable and comfortable at the same time. I expected a cheap plastic case with no grip. I am very surprised from the seller on such a great price and product quality. Highly recommend this to first time buyers, or to whom loves their phone enough to spend $4 on keeping the phones appearance and quality at a high rate. Kudo's to the seller. =]

I have the same one.

Mine was only $3 and i really like it. Easy to take off, really sticky and protective.
I bought two cases off amazon, both of the same brand from different sellers. The transparent smoke plastic case is crap. The black plastic is very nice, it feels stiff, it's just tacky enought to give it a good grip but not stick in your pocket, and its got a bit of springiness to it. Not bad for 5 clams. I'm sure an otterbox would be a lot nicer and tougher, but spending 40 bucks on a case to protect a 220 dollar phone? No.
i am using nillkin tpu case with free mofi pouch,I can insert my phone with tpu case into pouch.i like it
Motorola WX435 Triumph Rubberized Shield Hard Case - Neon Green
Bought it on Amazon.
Snaps right on the phone, is snug and sturdy
TCP gel cover. On my infuse and the rest of my family use it aswell. Very good quality.
Sent from my SGH-I997 using XDA App
The case I use
I use the Rocket Fish case. I have dropped the phone like 15 times, and the phone is still fine. All the case seems to do is prevent cosmetic damage. The phone is solid as, excuse the pun, a brick.
I am using a cheap black silicone rubber case I found on eBay.
iPhone Trash
I am so sick of ipone this, iphone that. Everybody makes sweet cases for the iphone but leave out the android guys for some reason. Can't these manufacturers think outside of the apple bullcrap. I guess not, that's why android users are stuck with cheap lazer printed plastic junk that wears off within a few days of handling the case. Oh well, I am still a happy android user. till next time.

the thing is, with iPhone's they only have to make 1 to 2 depending on how they make the cutouts (since cdma and gsm versions have a bit different button placement). With android there are 30+ phones for every version of the iPhone. And prepaid carriers usually don't get the best of the cases... At least zagg makes screen protectors for every or near every recent android phone. It would be nice if they made a case for each phone, but that doesn't happen.
I have a pretty good case on my Triumph, it's a snap on but it's durable & don't look bad either.
Honestly, I've been using mine without any kind of case, and it's great! I've owned several phones and an Ipod touch before this that were awful without cases due to the shells being slippery, but the Triumph has a grippy rubberized exterior that feels great in the hand. Unless you drop your phone a lot, I wouldn't bother with a case.
I got a Fosman hard rubberized for like 3 bucks shipped from ebay. Great case for the money and like previously posted a 40 buck otterbox on a $220 phone is a bit of overkill.
I use the Black (Argyle Interior) TPU Crystal Silicone Case Cover For Motorola Triumph on for about 5 bucks. I have dropped the phone a few times and have no dings or scratches anywhere. It is thin enough to not affect the size of the phone and does it's job. I would recommend it over the silicone cases or even the snap on cases.
Whatever one is the cheapest at any online retailer. I would not buy one for .01, mind you, as those are most likely scams! But anything from a reliable retailer at a low price (I replace my generic ones every couple of months).
Okay I read to many blogs... If you like the Seidio Surface style case, you can get it for $19 + shipping from androidcentral...
http://www.androidcentral.com/deal-day-seidio-surface-case-samsung-galaxy-s4-0
This is also a limited time offer (today only) and while supplies last.
I've had Seidio cases in the past and they are always been first rate. I haven't had the Surface before but for what it's worth, I do like the idea of semi-hard case that is easy to put on and take off with its slide-in design.
Again I don't plan on buying this case. This is for information only.
This case shipped from Jison, another manufacturer of leather cell phone cases. The smell of the case was familiar. Genuine leather just like the Jison Executive Folio case I reviewed. With a price coming in under 10 dollars, I was surprised to see 1 and 3 star ratings for the product on Amazon.
It came down to durability for those customers. They claimed that the leather was coming up after extended use. I’ll keep the case on and do a follow up if it falls apart.
My initial thoughts about the case is that it will suit business oriented people really well. It looks great. Active or clumsy users might want to spring for something that offers more side protection though as this is basically just a flip cover.
Oh and no issues using QI wireless chargers with this. Not a lot of protection on the corners naturally. Just take a look at the design. Slim and leather.

Looks good and dirt cheap. I hope it's not gonna fall apart in a week....
Hi all,
I've done the digging on this forum and seems its been a few months since many of you have chimed in on waterproof S6 cases.
It seems the best options are Lifeproof FRE or Dog and Bone Wetsuit. That said, I've read two things: 1) those who swear by Lifeproof despite the complaints and 2) those who bought it and were highly disappointed.
Both are pricey.
Which is thinner?
I see Dog and Bone claims to use a tempered glass protector but I've read in multiple places it feels like plastic, not tempered glass. That said, I realize the outer layers of tempered glass are plastic.
I also read the Dog and Bone reduced radio reception quite a bit. Is this true?
How easy is it to remove either of these? Can I put these on when I need to go on adventures and switch back to my Spigen Neo Hybrid when I want slim? The 2nd problem with that is I generally use tempered glass so I guess I'll have to remove this to put on either of these cases?
EDIT: After more digging I'm also curious about these options: Punkcase SpikeStar, Ghostek Atomic. The Punkcase reviews on Amazon almost all say it's good but the bad ones are very short anonymous, and not very detailed.. which almost makes me think the other big names are having trolls badmouth the little guys.. but who knows.
Thanks.
I have lifeproof. I was considering dog&bone wetsuit as well, but limited availability, warranty, and price (lp was half price than d&b on amazon) were drawbacks. Lifeproof works well with tempered glass sp (mine's 0.2mm thick). Had issue with crack in charging port cover, contacted lifeproof and they replaced it with a whole new case, paid 5 dollars for shipping, no hassel. I have complete confidence in the waterproofing nature of case, and it's surprising light. (Lighter than my neo hybrid metal). Let me kknow if you have any more questions.
I'm thinking of getting this one. Couldn't find too much on it though.

So despite the negative reviews I've read, would you recommend Lifeproof as a case to switch to for excursions when waterproof is desired? Then switching back when back to normal (dry) life?

That's exactly what I do. I use neo hybrid for protection in dry weather. Spigen liquid crystal at home. And lifeproof whenever I'm outdoors camping, or otherwise. It's quite easy to take the case off with a coin.
As long as you take care of the case, it'll last you.
One of the biggest complaints was Power port cover breaking off, and it's 99.9% user error/negligence. Sound, admittedly, will degrade in quality, but I see it as a fair trade off for waterproof feature.
I was very tempted to get Dog and bone, but they're availability is scarce (it's from Australia). Also the price is double than LP.
If you're in canada/Us, don't buy it from retail. Buy it from amazon, and you'll pay almost half the price of retail.
Try to avoid off-brand cases. They usually have very poor quality, and warranty if there is a problem with the case. Invest a little more and opt for a reputable brand, whether you choose LP or D&B.

Thanks. I'll probably do Lifeproof. I do wish for the price of the case it had better than a 1 year warranty. They could do much better saying "Lifetime" knowing that most people don't keep their phone for more than 3 years.
The extreme muffled sound of life proof was a deal beaker. I could hardly hear voice in a noisy environment. I had life proof and returned it then got a dog and bone which has no audio issue and you can almost use it day to day. By comparison life proof looks better made/more shockproof.
