More should be done 4 the Note Edge Device
Hello guys,
I have to say that i feel like the note edge device is being ignores or not enough is done in the way of custom roms,custom kernels etc. This is an amazing device and developers please consider this device when you come up with your amazing roms,kernels etc.
Also can any information be shared on the best custom rom and kernel forr the galaxy note edge SM-N915G device.

I purchased this excellent device,aka. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 clone, Ulefone N9002
I googled for various developer threads in hope of getting the best of this amazing phone,and I decided to drop them all into 1 XDA thread.

-this ROM:http://www.needrom.com/download/star-n9002-mt6582/ is said to cause an irrepairable ghost touch issue after flashing and rebooting the device.To me it didnt occur because I rooted and installed CWM before it had the chance to reboot,and then I flashed back to a custom ROM(My device is an ULEFONE,not a STAR!)
If anyone possesses any information I do not know of,please do share it with me,and I will add it to this thread

I am a samsung grand user and am quite happy so far with my device. Some time back i flashed carbon ROM on my device and it worked well too, recently i flashed it with CM12 (unofficial) its working like a charm. Just out of curriosity i wanted to know why there is no support for this device (i9082) on any custom ROM site. i.e there is no OFFICIAL rom available for this device, although many developers do create unofficial custom roms for this device but why this device is not considered by the original ROM makers to have a official one. Is this device not good enough, not challenging enough, or on a technical front does it have many criticalities or challenges, or is it too basic device to work upon. I mean devices like samsung ace which is totally outdated, galaxy s, galaxy mini kind of devices are supported then why not this one.
Any answers will be appreciated.

Is it possibile to use custom kernel of note4 exynos on a note edge exynos??
I would never recommend using a kernel from a different device on your current device unless you're rich and have money to buy a new one after making a very big mistake.

I've been doing my research on these forums, however I'm not sure if this can be done, the phone specs (hoping they are real) can be seen in the attachment, but I was wondering if a custom ROM, a newer Android version (Lollipop, for example) could be installed on a fake Samsung Galaxy S5

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910P (Sprint) unlocked. I am currently using Dr. Ketan Note 7 Rom. But I was thinking of installing Lineage Rom but I will lose the Air Command features/SPen Features. Is there a way I can add all these features after installing this Rom.. Or can anyone recommend me any other custom Rom that is better than Dr. Ketan note 7 Rom.
I just love the Note 7 glance, gif maker & the off screen memo writer. :good:

Greetings and welcome to assist. If you switch to a cm based rom then yes you will lose sammy specific features, a lot of these are dependant on samsung firmware and are almost impossible to port. There are several 3rd party alternatives to the spen apps you can try, I have a note 4 myself and have run note 7 ports and cm based roms, lineage is a lot faster and lighter than touchwizz but you do lose some nice features

That's the reason I don't want to install lineage Rom or any other, because I'm use to spen features n I use them alot.
So, is there any better note 7 rom other than Dr. ketan?
