I replaced the initial ics rom with miui v5 rom but the problem is that it is not detecting the sim card. Because of it i did installation some other rom(super JB 8.0, kitkat, etc) but they got their own problems either the phone wont boot or the sim card detection problem. Please someone tell where can i get to download the ics rom for sony tipo dual sim or tell me any other rom for this model which will be working properly(and the problem is i had not taken the backup of the initial ics rom).

Well i can't find find the CM10 for xperia tipo dual and the link all i can find is giving me options like-> CM10 -> FXP0 -> tapioca_ss! Neither m able to find FXP210 nor tapioca_ds help as soon as possible! M just fed up of my ICS!
You can install CM10, but only one SIM would work. To do this, get a Tipo single FTF and flash it - you'll get Tipo single basebands on one of your SIMs now. Now you can install Tipo single's CM10 and one SIM will work.
Can anybody help me out with installing JB on Xperia tipo Dual. I have benn trying this for a long time.. Is there any perfect file to flash and a proper kernel for it if so please Quote them in the reply !

yu can install some custom roms(jellybean style roms) basically theme based roms...
or you can flash cyanogenmod roms...for more and better features...:angel:..

Help me, i installed XPERIA Z FIRE series 5 to my Xperia Tipo Dual.. I flashed the BOOT.IMG inside it first then i follow the instruction on how to install the rom.. I installed it properly and it works! ^_^, but the SIM is not working, so i search on google and I FOUND

which has a thread on how TIPO jb ROMS work on TIPO DUAL with 1 SIM Fix.
I downloaded the FIX BY JAVA.FTF.zip then i extract it. and i flashed it on my tipo DS.
but there is some error show in FLASHTOOL logs. and when i TUrn my phone on..
it Start normally BUT i CANT touch the SCREEN anymore....
PLEASE HELP.. GUYZ

Is there any working custom rom for sony xperia tipo dual with android version greater than that of Jelly Bean ?
Guys I have searched and found that Sony xperia tipo dual has no custom ROMs here , it is the most tricky handset .
I had another question , if anyone has tried installing custom rom of some other sony dual sim phone which has configuration similar to sony xperia tipo dual .
this one is 7.0, is prety good, but has some bugs because its not ready yet...
