Then you tried to downgrade from 5.1.1 to 5.0?? This could have tripped knox but flashing an official firmware which has at least the same builtnumber will definitly be safe!
No i did not. .i had base rom..and try to root.it it stuck at bootlogo. I flashed 5.1.1 and try to install Knox. .it fails

Then your Knox was tripped because you rooted or at least tried to root

This is not development!
And have you tried re-rooting? Flashing firmware, installing updates, etc., will remove root.

EVER ROOT is part of mobile odin you need to talk to the dev who created it, Chainfire I believe, as to why it doesn't work. I am assuming this device was never supported anyways and if by the off chance it was working before then the new firmware broke it in which case again you need to talk to the dev who made it to see if he can fix it.

HELLO I WOULD LIKE TO UNROOT MY SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 2 7.0.MODEL-GT-P3113 ANDROID 4.1.1..YESTERDAY I FOLLOWED (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1887757&highlight=rooting+4+1+1) GUIDE TO ROOTING AND GOT IT,,WHATS THE BEST AND EASIEST WAY TO UNROOT MY DEVICE?
The easiest way to unroot your tab is..
Reflashing your ROM.
Dont forget to clear your binary counter
Flash the latest firmware of your region,
From sammobile,
Flash it from mobile /pc odin,
You would be on the stock unrooted locked
Sent from my GT-P3100 using Tapatalk HD
any simpler way to unroot like rooting ?

I don't know for sure but a while back, I did come across several threads/posts about this on other Samsung devices, so I'm inclined to believe that yes, flashing official Roms of other countries/regions does void your warranty. You'd have to go back to stock via KIES
One example post about this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23951568&postcount=15

I guess so, mate. Besides the bin counter, not sure if they'd be able to know the previous Roms you've flashed. Or if they'd be so determined to deny a customer's warranty lol

Can you tell me (or if possible give me)how to make the Odin flashable modem from your package...?
Sent from my GT-i9105P using Tapatalk 2
Okay. so here is what happened. The new marshmallow update for the galaxy s6 came and i downloaded the update and started to install it. it failed at around 30% and rebooted my phone. I decided to try again and i downloaded the update and stll the same, but that's not the issue. after the second update attempt. i rebooted the phone that night and it was fine. but the next morning when i turned on the phone and tries to use my data connection it says not registered on network. My sim card is showing, i tried two different sim cards but the problem is still there. Im within the range of mobile service provider.
So what i did was i cleared the cache partition, the problem is still there.
i Factory reset my phone, the problem is still there.
So, Did anyone else face this problem?
If so, can you tell me how you solved it?
Can anyone help me with this issue.
I thank you in advance
I have the same problem!! But mine is worse!!!
I downloaded the 4G LTE Switch app to force LTE and I hit the 'turn off radio' button and pufff no network service!!!
Right now im going to restore full stock to see if something happends
Big Update!!!!!!:
I just flashed full stock and the network came back!!!!!
Are you using the international version?(Sm-G920F)
If so can you direct me to the stock firmware download file?

The Csc doesn't have to match.
After flashing the stock ROM check if you have network service, that's how i fixed my problem.
After you flash the ROM just flash the TWRP like you normally do when you have a brand new phone.

I would recommend to use always ODIN if you are in 5.1.1 just be sure to flash the Marshmallow Modem and Bootloader firsts, then flash the ROM.

"Failed", that means the firmware which you tried flashing using odin isn't compatible with your device, best solution would be getting the right firmware from sammobile.

Have you checked your IMEI no. ? is it matching with the phone (at the back of the device)
Hi, I just moved in to this community but I'm jot new to flashing. I was just wondering if it is safe to flash custom rom in my J7? The software update doesn't allow me to upgrade to Marshmallow. By any chance could I just install twrp and directly flash some roms here for MM? Will it affect my IMEI or network will be still locked to Globe even after flashing a MM Rom?
If u r rooted then u can't update. Alternatively u can download update from sam mobile for ur model and flash with Odin it won't change imei. Or simply unroot ur mobile n update it. One more way to do it is through samsung smart switch. Install in ur pc connect ur mobile it will show update available then u can update it
