This is the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Bootanimation for ALL SAMSUNG devices. This will work on ANY Samsung device that is at least Rooted and uses QMG bootanimation files. Keep in mind that this is not a flashable zip, if unfamiliar with how to manually install these files and set permissions see my instructions gif. Also, keep in mind that this QMG format system that Samsung uses is old school, it has not been updated or supported in over 3 years, so please do not ask me to make this bootanimation more fluid. Instead ask Samsung to update their design tools, so we can have more fun.

REQUIREMENTS:
*Rooted note 1 shv-e160k jb 4.1.2 (deodexed)
*Root browser
*a little bit of knowledge in replacing apps
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. backup your original musicplayer.apk by opening root browser located in system/apps
2. download the file,after your download is done, place it anywhere inside your phone
3. open root browser, then copy the modified systemui.apk to system/apps. replace the old one
4. change the permission to rw-r--r--
5. restart and your done
faq: i dont know if this mods will work on other korean models.
if the music player did not work, just replace it with the original one.

You should place your mods in the Note 1 - I717-Forum (like General). There you'll find some threads (rooted kernel, custom roms etc.) related to the korean version.
The N7000 isn't a good place for these. Different hardware so no threads related to shv-e160k here.

Welcome! This rom is for J500M (Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile...)
So, as you may have noticed, I'm Renato, i am a user of this device since November 2015, and i decided to create a ROM
for variant M because those available are variant F/FN (by @Force) and yet there is no 100% stable cyanogen so i decided to do this little work here and share with you. Oh, and i need a name for the ROM. Any ideas?

TW Crash Issue
Here is a workaround.
Make sure that twframework-res.apk, twframework.jar and main TW application is replaced,
and given permissions are rw-r-r(chmod 644) for apps to fuction as intended.
Also make sure that the applications you replace are deodexed!
For framework apps there's a trick to replace them, otherwise you will have an unrecoverable bootloop!
-Copy the apps you want to install to SD Card.
-Copy the apps to system else than /system/framework. (e.g /system/media).
-Give rw-r-r permissions.
-Cut and paste to /system/framework. If you don't get a bootloop by now, your apps will function.
The crash may be also due to different Android version, or different platform! (e.g if you port some apps from other than msm8916 platform, they will not fuction well).
Also maybe some libs from the other ROM will be needed.

I got frustrated with Samsung's unremovable ugly laggy TouchWiz bloat, & this ROM is the result.
Features:
Bare - Removed as much Touchwiz bloat as technically possible, & replaced those apps with Stock Android (Google) ones
AOSP Sounds - Replaced all horrible TouchWiz sounds with AOSP ones
Product Sans - Replaced boring Android Roboto font with Google's

Odexed (Non-Xposed version only)-Faster performance

Notes:
If coming from stock ROM, It is recommended you factory reset after flashing. You don't have to, however you may or may not encounter bugs if you don't.
First boot takes really long, especially on the Xposed version. Be patient.

Need to cook a MM update with xposed, please.
Hi everybody, searching in the internet a stock bootanimation for my moto e2, i coulndt get a prooper animation for oreo custom roms.
Because the way they reproduce the bootanimation is not a video, it is an animation as in previous systems, based on images. And for that reason I made my own motorola stock animation to replace the one that comes from any custom rom based on android 8, 8.1.
Just copy and replace the bootanimation.zip from system / media with the one I made and you will have your stock moto animation. I hope it is useful
