I'm trying to figure out which Google play services to download to get android pay working on my note 5.
People say to look at the last 3 numbers in the parentheses.
Mine is 440, but I don't see anything like that on Apk mirror.
Any help?

I think it's up to 8.1.5. That's from a couple days ago.

I'm using the 240 one. I don't think they will make a 440 because the 240 is universal dpi for our cpu architecture.

Same here, it says it's incompatible.

Still a no-go for me here, could be that I'm running cm9 on 190 dpi so it doesn't show up for me...anyway you could download it, make a backup of it and then upload that for me...would be much appreciated

Or you could just switch to 240 dpi for five minutes.

This apk from the Nexus 7 system image is actually smaller and behaves the same.
Does the navigation is working especially on country that navigation is not active?

Nope. Really no idea why they insist on doing that. Must be legal reasons.
Thanks you for this
thank you...

I've been reading articles about a recent major update to Google Maps, but so far nothing appears to have changed on my phone (or tablet, for that matter) and the Play Store tells me I've got the latest.
Anyone know what gives with this? Does anyone have the new version?

Good for a laugh first thing this morning lol
Thanks. Didn't realize they maintained different "versions" of the app targeted to specific O/Ss and devices. Hey -- my app runs on anything from 2.3 up!

The lastest update really does suck !
I was on the free way, but it showed my position on the street next to the free way. It had never happened before the update. So I don't recommend people to update. And my GPS signal is pretty good (16/25 sat.), so there is nothing wrong with my gps, but the app itself.
Agreed, if you can keep from updating, definitely hold out. Mine wouldn't keep up with my position in navigator and it was telling me to turn in directions which weren't even possible. They've introduced some major bugs with this update. I reverted back to an older version and I'm good to go now.

Google Play Services is killing my data plan. I did some research on the forums and I am assuming this is because I just installed CM and my nexus is trying to download the new 4.4.3 update. What should I do to make it stop? I Read that for some people checking the restrict background data box works but it doesnt for others. Also read about an app called DisableServices but also came across mixed results.
Can anybody help me?

I though this was fixed in their latest builds? Which build are you on?
I thought so too. But apparently is trying to download. I was on 4.4.2 and then installed cyanogenmod 11

Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
Go to System apps, google services and then disable "SystemUpdateService". This should fix it afaik,
Seems like the issue where the phone keeps downloading 4.4.3 over and over.

So I am on a pixel 3xl rooted on Android 10. I was in the Android 10 beta all worked well all through beta. I started noticing battery life of phone is not so good so I foolishly formatted phone now I can't download Galaxy wear app from the store. So I side loaded it. However now I get this error. I do realize it obviously isn't compatible with Android 10 currently but it worked before. Just wondered if anyone had a work around. Thanks guys.

Hi, i had the same issue, for resolving that, you need download and install the following apks:
-Galaxy wear app
-Gear S plugin
-Samsung accessory service
Then, run the setup from the start and your gear s3 should work as usual.
