Is there any way to get the OPO to auto answer calls?
I've found a bunch of apps on the play store but none of them work. Rooted COS12.1 (stock).

So I'm fairly new to flashing a Rom to my phone. I succesfully did it, flashed the gapps aswell. But I cant talk to anyone on skype. Im using the newest version from the play store. It lets me sign in and call people. I can hear them, but they cant hear me. Its not a problem with my microphone, calling people using the default app works, and even the voice search for play store works. It just seems like Skype isnt finding my microphone.
The stock CM 11s allowed me to use a Bluetooth device and set the phone to auto answer on incoming calls using one of the few apps for "Auto Answer" in Play Store.
It looks like CM12 and Roms for OPO running Android 5 and above this doesn't work. Anyone tried this and got it to work?
Calls auto answer on bluetooth
Still no fix for this issue ? Since it's quite important for me to get automatic answers while working, I decided not to upgrade my OPO to CM12. Has anyone found another solution ?
Is there anyway to make calls using google now? Okay google works for me for everything but making calls. It says its calling but call does not really happen. I think the issue is "Bluetooth" does not declare itself as a dialer app so google now is not able to pass information to it. Is there any way around this issue?
Somebody developed an app for 4.4.4 as workaround for this. Is there any such app for 5.1.1?

I got it working on 5.1.1. I had the same issue, turns out I needed a modified MTC Service.

Setting the phone to vibrate from the switch still allows notifications and ringtones to play through. Ive checked every setting I can find and haven't found a solution. Is anyone else having this issue? Silent mode seems to work as intended. I hope there is something ive over looked., also tried search and couldnt find anything.
Im using the tmo branded version on latest software update for them.
Hey everybody,
I'm currently in the process of minimizing my phones reliance on Google Apps without installing a custom ROM. Thus, I skipped the account login and disabled all the Google Apps I could and installed alternatives from F-Droid.
Unfortunately I so far haven't been able to get an alternative dialer app (Emerald Dialer, Lineage Dialer) to work, as the ones I've tested so far seem to rely on the Google Phone app being enabled to work. Seemingly, the system apps responsible for managing calls restrict the possible apps that can be used to place calls.
Does anybody know of a solution for this? Thank you! <3

Just in case somebody looking for a solution to the same issue finds this thread:
Turns out my problem was that most alternative dialers don't come with a custom call screen. Calls would still be placed and received, but there was no way to hang up, mute, hold, etc.
The app Should I Answer? does provide its own call screen and can be set as the default phone app. Also I read through their Privacy Policy, and though they use Analytics, like almost every non-FOSS app, at least they don't sell data to third parties or build user profiles like Google does.
Be aware, that you have to activate some blocking option in the app in order to enable the custom call screen.
Hope this helps, have a good one.
