Currently it only works if you have the gear app, but using bluetooth it should be able to work with other devices yet sam samsung has blocked that.

You should already be at least on Android 4.3. And without Nfc you can forget it.

Hey guys My samsung galaxy s4 i 545 on verizon. The wifi and bluetooth do not turn on. It wasrunning kit kat. But now lolly pop. It was working for a week after lolly pop. Any help will be great. It's not rooted. Thanks.

I can pair my sony smartwatch 3 with my iphone 6 s. Several times a day the connection gets lost and the watch doesn't reconnect with the iphone.
