Samsung Galaxy Y Pro (2.3.6) - Rooting

I have found a dutch website where they talked about rooting the B5510 phone.
I followed the instructions and was able to root my 2.3.6 phone.

Just checked and it worked for me .. What do you get ?

The root is possible by a software (and unroot too), but the question is, can we have a clockworkmod recovery to start the modding ?

Could any download the files from megaupload?
I can not root my B5510 2.3.6....

Confirmed. This method worked on my new Samsung Pro Y Duos.

Can you pls post the files you used. I have the Y Pro Duos too and I need to root it. Thanks.

I own a GT-B5510 and I recently instaled a wrong kernel resulting in soft bricking it.
Is there a Kernel or custom Kernel for my specific device??'

Secondly (a tad off topic), I have a GT-B5510 on 2.3.6 , problem is, that since I bought the phone, theres an issue with the SD card unmounting itself for no reason at all. I searched a bit and found that this seems to be a universal problem?
Anyone know how to fix it?

I also have GT-B5510 and I quiet like the phone. Never had problems with the sd card though
I recently bricked it by installing a kernel for a similar device :s
my only hope is finding a custom or stock Kernel for GT-B5510 and flash it.

Anyway I can help? (as a non dev lol)
In my case, won't be long before I physicaly brick my phone. Too many annoying issues.
Might just send it back to Samsung, seeing as it's 2months old.

I've no idea mate
I'd suggest that if nobody is able to help you here, and your phone is insured, "accidentally" drop it in water or something. Because Samsung might not help you when they see you've been tinkering with it.

Stock camera will not work on PA, if you want to use it then flash some TW rom.
There is lot of info about this already

This is the stock tw camera apk, like jeetu1981 said, it prob won't work but you can always try.

So i have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and out of the blue a lot of files are missing. Ive been searching the forums for a solution but so far the few solutions ive found dont work and the ones that might work i have to pay for which i dont wanna do because i have the feeling ill use the program once and never again.I was wondering if anyone knows of a free program or some other type of way.

You should post more info, like device base, logs, etc if want help of the devs..

Where is the ROM ?it is just image. Have you downloaded and tried it ?
