Hello everyone!
I'm on metroPCS and i got an update notify that won't stop nagging me -_- that aside anyone know what is in this update? Seems both MetroPCS and Tmobile Galaxy core prime got the update according to the update details I included below. Unfortunately the update included no other details because apparently that isn't important, so anyone know??
{Size 29.77 MB G360T1UVU1AOFA - G360T1TMB1AOFA - G360T1UVU1AOFA}
Can a mod move this thread to here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/t/galaxy-core-prime
For some reason I clicked new thread inside galaxy core prime and this one doesn't show up there.

Hello guyz
Im sorry if i posted this in the wrong section but i have 1 question that i am really curious about.
Does anyone have any idea if the ,,Samsung Galaxy S2 (Gt-I9100G) from germany'' is gonna be getting the official SAMSUNG Jellybean the one where you can upgrade with using kies or ota cause i heard the build number samsung is working on is Gt-I9100XXLSJ which doesnt seem like its the 1 for the g variant. Thankyou for your time
Hey guys,
first day here at xda, I want to say thank you to the developers of cyangenmods. I had an S2 for years and I've been really happy with cyanogenmod firmware installed. Some weeks ago my Provider send me a new Galaxy S4 LTE + (GT-I9506) with Android 4.3 Stock-ROM installed.
In this developer-Thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2691639
the S4 LTE + is mentioned as a supported device (I did not found out what "ks01lte" means??)
When I click on the donwload-links for the cyanogenmod-firmware the LTE + is mentioned as a "not supported device"
Can you please clear this up for me? I do not know if I should flash my S4 with this firmware and before I do I wait for an answer here.
Thank you in advance and lots of greetz from Germany
T.
hello i bought galaxy s4 via aliexpress i been told its i9500 but when i tried to update via kies or FOTA it saying that its the last firmware
can you tell me by this info how can i upgrade it to kitkat? and if not how to install custom roms?
It seems like someone did a Frankenstine Operation on the Phone.
Based on the Firmware on there, it appears like this is an International Galaxy S4. If so, please post in [HELP THREAD] Galaxy S4 | Ask any question | Noob friendly. so that we are sure that is the device.
Based on your other Screenshot, your Bootloader is that of AT&T Canada Bell Galaxy S4 North American Version. If so, please post in Stupid Questions Thread - No question too stupid!
It is very crucial to not flash the wrong firmware as that would certainly Brick your Phone for good.
Once correct variant is confirmed, you might be able to get the correct Stock Firmware for your device.
If I really REALLY have to guess, since Product and Device code can be manipulated in the Rom, I'd trust the Bootloader, more to identify what it really is. And in your case that points to AT&T S4.

Hmm ... I found a rooting thread ([Tutorial] Rooting the Sprint GalaxyS3 the Easy Way), but it is closed as it seems that this method no longer works.
There a user ("Thecrazyone1") of the same device reported taht he could successfully root. Maybe you can ask (PM) him, how he got it rooted.
Here is the general rooting link for the Sprint S3: How to root the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III ... which seems to be very similar to your device.
You can also check the Sprint Galaxy S3 FAQ updated 5/27/2013, there is a linbk to a video guide for rooting.
Here is a thread about your device: S3 straight talk verison rooting/general questions..
And here is another one: [Q] How To Root the Straight Talk SCH-S968C Samsung Galaxy S III.
Maybe you can get better answers there.
Good luck !
Thread closed and thank you.
Happy new year !
Hi,
New to the Forum but hoping that someone can help me.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active which I purchased off Amazon Unlocked. It is an At&t phone but I am using it in Canada on the Bell Network. I have been unable to get any updates and therefore am still running Kitcat 4.4.2.
I have downloaded the Bell Firmware but Keep Getting the Error Message "Secure Check Fail Aboot" Immediately after each attempt.
I have not been able to find an updated At&t firmware to load and as far as I can tell the Bell Marshmallow Update won't work because My Build version is G870AUCU1A..... Where as the Bell Build Version is G870WVLU1C.......
Is there a way to install this Bell Firmware on my phone ?
