This is for all those guys there who are having force close problems after flashing a custom rom.
I myself was having force close problems in my Nokia X after flashing Lewa Rom. Loved it's looks but after I installed and opened apps/games like temple run , UC browser they started force closing.
So here's what you should do to stop apps from force closing-
1.Go to settings<apps.
2.Select the app/game which is force closing.
3.Select clear data and then clear cache.
4.Rebooting is a choice.
This should fix all the force close problems(well it did for me )

If this did not work for you then you can try this-
1.Reboot to your custom recovery.(CWM/TWRP/LEWA whatever)
2.Select advanced.
3.Select fix permissions.
4.Select/swipe to confirm.
5.Reboot

If this did not work for you either you can try downloading the Fix Permissions apps from Google Play Store.

even when i wipe my device clean and install the rom and later wipe devik and fix permission. will no matter what the rom for htc sensation which do not have sense android market dose not work.
it never opens in the 1st case.
or will open for a while and say low space and some market command says market unexpectedly stopped working.
please fix this or help me with his

i think you have to go into clock recovery app in the phone (if you dont have it download it from 4shared on the phone, must type "clock recorvery.apk) then go to extras and download the google extras or what ever is in that section for it to work

Once you do that - Put them on your SD card and reboot into CWM Recovery and follow the steps:

1. - Do a nandroid backup of your current ROM. Just in case things go south.
2. - Flash the Google Apps
3. - AFTER THAT flash the gapps with new Talk
4. - Wipe Cache
5. - Go to advanced
6. - Wipe Dalvik Cache
7. - Fix Permissions
8. - Reboot Phone
Now set them up, and you are set. You have MARKET!

If you want to remove Sense, Senseless doesn't completely remove it. It just takes out the most visible parts. For true Sense removal you should go with CM7.
hey i use galaxy s5830....recently i flashed it with gingercruzt v2.3....it said there i should delete "vending.apk" nd "vending.odex" and install "marketfix.zip" so i did....but now android market just vanished from my phone !
i searched and got another"vending.apk" but its force closing.
i am really looking for some help . . . !

I had the problem with store too - FC and after it disappear, but I use this zip and now it works.
*changed is color to black and maybe sth other
Boot into Recovery and select Clear Cashe, then go to Advanced and Clear Dalvik Cashe then scroll down to and press Fix Permissions then Reboot your Device.
Hope that helps get it running again.

so I'm facing this android market force close issue , whenever I start android market I get this message :
application market ( process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly please try again
, I tried changing the language as well as fixing permissions I would've tried deleting cache and data but I don't even have data saved as I've never downloaded any app on android market
Last night I was trying to root and flash a custom rom to my tablet, I wasn't able to finish flashing the rom because I noticed Google Play Store wasn't opening. I couldn't download Rom Manager or any other apps for that matter. I was doing everything I could from clearing the cache, data, even wiping the data and cash in the fastboot mode and flashing another GApps to the tablet. Everything I've tried won't get me anywhere. It tells me to log in with an account, then immediately says: The application Google Play Store (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. I did try flashing a rom through fastboot mode, even though it didn't do anything, so I thought this might be the problem? I haven't tried anything else yet. Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: I have the SCH-i815 verizon 4G LTE tablet on stock android 3.2. It is rooted.
EDIT 2: I also noticed that Google Maps and other such apps are no longer on my device. I noticed that Google Services Framework (not sure of words) are on my other devices but not on this one. I tried going into the check for system update settings and it crashed giving me almost the same message as the Google Play Store crash force close message

I recall having FC issues with previous tabs. Repaired by Fixing Permissions in CWM.

Hi there,
If anyone still encountering FC/not dowloading apps for Playstore or market, it might also be the cause of new partition or something like that, you can try this another option freely other than fixing permission of vending.apk on /system/app/..
This might help you guys .
1. check if cache folder has "download" folder inside it, if it no download folder then create one inside /cache, e.g. mkdir /cache/download.
2. then chmod the /cache folder to 777, also make sure the com.android.vending folder is present inside /data/data/ folder.
3. You can achive it through shell terminal.
Hope this helps you guys fix the FC(Force close or not downloading apps on playstore or market).

I installed flashify, whenever I open it, it force closes. Then I installed many icon packs. They closed too. (App has stopped working) error.....
Some other apps which I need are also giving this error like fleksy keyboard etc. Please tell me a way to fix this issue.
I have reinstalled rom in my phone with SP Flash Tool. It really sucks :3
