Is there a way to locate android stolen phone? Using the phone number? And don't say Android Device Manager. It's useless and I've already tried it. Doesn't work.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Locating a lost phone greatly depends on whether you were prepared for that scenario or not. Check this out and see if it helps, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1642444

Hello,
I am looking for information on rooting (or temporarily) tablet.
I have got a tablet device with Honeycomb 3.2 which is not on market yet. Having experience of using my android phone, I would like to have it rooted as well. Unluckily, I have no USB because the device is using a special connection interface. That means, only measures (with WiFi to transfer files) through device instead of PC could work...
I have searched forums for gaining root access and even temp root access for quite some time. I have tried androot, Gingerbreak etc but no luck.
If there is a different area in XDA Forums I should be asking this, please refer me there.
I would appreciate for all help on this. Thanks.
Regards,
tczhang
Anyone can help on this? Thanks.

Hi,
I'm trying to backup my samsung omnia7 phone with WPBackup in order to put the latest Dynamics ROM on it.
(I want to keep my sms history, contacts, custom settings, apps...)
I've already installed all prerequisites on my W7x64 computer and my device is a stock and fully updated omnia7, interop unlocked and with WP7 root tools.
My problem is that i can't connect my phone to WMDC, it always says "not connected", so that's why WPBackup stays unable to see my phone, i guess.
Could anyone tell me how to reach my goal, please ?
Hi,
Having never done this myself I would suggest to go to the windows phone 7 q&a section and ask your question there. I'm sure many will be able to give you the help needed.
Best of luck!

hi demkantor,
thanks for the reply.
i'm searching for an existant thread about that on the wp7 section but i didn't find it for the moment.
i've not much time this week, seems not to be as simple as i thought...
maybe i'll create a new thread on the wp7 section.
cheers
Its currently running a linux 3.4 version and now my passwords messages, personal info has been hacked into. How do i fix this? And you have to physically have the phone to do this, right?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Sorry but this sounds a little fishy to me. What device do you have and how is it running Linux? You can remove towleroot but you need to physically have the device.
No response. Thread closed.
Guys I'm not seeing this phone anywhere on this site, and I'm beginning to wonder if I made a mistake ordering it. I even went on the webiste to look for support and THEY dont even have their phone listed there.
I'd like to have different rom options and perhaps the ability to root it. I can't even find firmware anywhere for it.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Well, you're right, there is nothing on XDA about your device. The only thing I can suggest is to see if anyone in this forum can help, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Have you done anything to your phone recently that might cause your problem? You might have to return to stock to get it working properly again.
