[Completed] [Q] Root Sony Xperia M2 Aqua, D2403

Hey,
I can't seem to find a guide anywhere to root the Xperia M2 Aqua, I have checked the forums and there doesn't seem to be a guide for my particular model number, D2403. I am running 4.4.2 however I am able to update to 4.4.4.
Any help would be much appreciated, I can't survive much longer without root...
Thanks
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. There definitely isn't a dedicated section for your device on XDA, however a quick search uncovered the following thread:
[Q] Root Xperia M2 Aqua(D2403)
It doesn't seem very positive at first but take a look at post #9, he links to a root method that he says works. So I'd start there.
Good luck!

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
I couldn't find much information about root on your phone. As for kingo root, it has been reported by users that it works on the s5.5. Therefore, there is no confirmed root method for your device.
You could try posting in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum as there is no dedicated thread for your device. Please note that in order to post, you will need to create a XDA account.
Good Luck! - gsstudios
