[Completed] Question about google exoplayer - XDA Assist

Hello, I am new to the forum.
I want to run the exoplyer of google (link:https://github.com/google/ExoPlayer) in my android phone Panasonic P55.
Now I have downloaded the source code files of exoplayer but i know nothing about compiling such files.
I have read the instructions in the webpage but it makes no sense to me.
If anyone can please compile the files into an apk file, I will be much much grateful. Thank you in advance.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
I tried compiling as well, but I had some stuff that was out of date, so ExoPlayer didn't import properly.
I would create an account, so you can post in other forums. Then, I would pose the question in the Go to first new post in the > Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Ask Any Question][Newbie Friendly] thread.
Edit. I got it to compile, but it's a demo program, and although it probably has to do with my system configuration, it's very rough around the edges.
By the sounds of the description, it seems to be more for a media framework than a front-end for say, YouTube. Even if it was compiled properly, I don't think it will do what you are looking for. Sorry.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

[Completed][Q] Android: newSpellCheckerSession return null on Samsung devices

Hi folks,
I am trying to write a simple Spell Checker Client for Android based on HelloSpellChecker sample, and for some reason on different Samsung tablets, it does not work - newSpellCheckerSession returns null for whatever locale I specify. On an Asus Nexus 7 it works fine. They are all running 4.4.
I researched a lot and found some posts of people using Samsung devices not getting the red error marks for misspelled words. Some solutions suggested rooting the device and changing some hardcoded values there.
I really don't want to root or depend on a rooting for solution for this.
Anybody has an idea how to get this to work?
Thanks!

I tried posting in Android Software Development, but it was locked for me as I don't have 10 posts or comments or whatever. I'll post it in the location you suggested. Thanks
Oh I forgot you have a limit there. Please review Postcount limit in developmental fora
that will help you increase your post count constructively.
Otherwise you may post in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Custom ROM's are specially tailored to the device, so you will need to find a developer who has the same one. However, I couldn't find anything of that make and model.
At any rate, create an account, so you can post in the rest of the site. Particularly, you will want to the [HELP THREAD] Ask ANY Question. Noob Friendly thread of the > General discussion > Questions and Answers forum. Be sure the share the same specs of the device as you did here, so they know what they are working with.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Hello.
I would try the above links first. You may find others with the same tablet. Otherwise (and this has been done for other devices, even popular ones), you may need to give a device (same make and model) to an interested developer (as they don't like to build blindly).
Not a whole lot of options, but that is something you can tease out (if there are more) on the General Q&A forum.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Glad you are interested in helping out!
The > Android Development and Hacking > Android Apps and Games forum contains many apps, and a few questions regarding apps. But really, (it seems) most app questions will go through to the > Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum (the one I linked before - sort of a catch-all question forum for rare devices and not particular to a device at all).
With regards to the tablet, one with similar specs (read....chipset) can help a developer out as a starting point, but the ROM will still need to be customized for that device to avoid bootloop.
Time to release you out into the world! The Purpose of XDA Assist is to point those who need assistance in the right direction, not to be a helpdesk (which I am fine with providing a little extra information, like the above paragraph ). With the forums mentioned in this thread in hand, you should be off to a great start with XDA. Take care.

There is not much about Android TVs yet on XDA.
Just this: Android TV and Stick Computers.
Maybe time to request a new forum here: *** New Device Forum Requests *** by the_scotsman?!
But I found this thread:
[APP][TV5.0+][2015.03.10] Sideload Launcher for Android TV v1.05 by Chainfire
If you still need more help, please ask in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
As long as there is no dedicated forum for Android TV sets, it's the best place to get answers and advices IMO.
Good luck !

[Completed] Blusestacks

So I just signed up and I didn't get time to read the forum rules. Sorry. But I know that this is mainly an Android Mobile OS related site, so I'm pretty sure that some, if not all, of you must have heard of bluestacks. Some of you might even be using it. My question is that how can I play FIFA 16 UT on it using keyboard. I made a rough .cfg file for mapping the controls. I copied somewhat from the coc file and the Temple Run file. The controls did not work. I'm attaching the file I made. Can someone please edit the file so that I can play, or at least explain to me how to map the controls properly. I have a MacBook Pro. Thanks in advance if anybody is going to help me.
I'm a new user so I'm aren't allowed to post links. So just enter https:// and drive.google.com and then enter /file/d/0BwcgpLnEehRpLWtaUTdTcm1YRG8/view?usp=sharing
