HELP!!?? No WiFi after flashing Kernel

Hello,
i just wanted to flash the Unity V9 kernel on my desire S.
I got an error during flashing "status 7" and i think its because my desire s is on android 2.3.3 and the Unity V9 only supprts android 2.3.4 and 2.3.5.
I just restarted my desire s und realized that my wifi does not work. In the wifi settings it sais "error" and i cant activate it...everything else works fine just the wifi not... I dont want to flash any other rom und want stay stock...
So please help me !!
What can i do to get my wifi working ?

Check your kernel version in the settings and download the same kernel from here and reflash with the same procedure

i found the right kernel nuber but the build number ist not listet there...my build number is 1.47.111.3 and there are only different build numbers...which one can i take? the 1.48.707.1 or the 1.36.481 ?

Isn't this a T-Mobile branded ROM?
Btw which version of the recovery do you have and have you made a Nandroid backup before flashing?

Yeah it's a T-Mobile branded rom... Is there also a diffrence betwene the kernels?
Can't i use any of these roms u recommended to me?
I have done a backup with the rom manager from my current rom before flashing.
but i have restored it yet and the error is still there ?
i have CWM recovery 5.0.2.0
So which kernel do i need to install?

As you say your build number is of the stock one so your kernel was not overwritten during the unsuccessful flash.
Have you tried to delete the remembered network and add it again?

The problem is not by the rememered networks... I can't even activate my WiFi !!! Thats the problem. When try to activate it, it sais "error"...so i can't activate it
What can i do now?
There has to be a kernel i can use or am i wrong?

No problem. I am glad that you sorted this out and I am sorry if my guidance on your other thread was misleading. I totally forgot that 2.3.3 is still the latest Android version on the Stock ROMs and the Unity kernel is updated for custom ROMs now.
I am afraid that it will be hard to find a kernel for 2.3.3, since most of the Custom ROMs are on 2.3.4 or 2.3.5 already. But maybe somebody else will provide some information or a download link if you still want to try.

Hey all i have a problem whit my lg p500,a week ago i flashed rom "oxygen 2.3.3" and my phone get turn off when i dont know (..i think cuz rom have bugs and i chose to change it,i find Miui 2.3.7 i instaled and this problem repeat again i find my phone off what i can do? please help me

When I used Cyagenmod 10 - specific builds I faced this issue. Later they fixed it.
FYI. Currently I am using the PAC version 19.9.0 ( Android 4.2.1) for my LG Optimus one P500 phone. It is giving some great look and feel. Smooth operations. Still Battery draining and 'no FM radio' support is the major minus in this build.

[Q] How to reset D838 after custom ROM ?

Hi,
I recently installed the custom ROM TekCafe V1....
Everything worked fine until after a few days later I started getting "InCallUI has stopped working" error. Initially i ignored it. But then my calls started to drop after 8 to 10 mins. I tried to install CN Mod V3 but (after uninstalling all Chinese apps and restoring my device ) I realised that the Remote app was showing only Chinese Brands (I need Indian brands or all brands btw). That app was one of the most important apps (since my dogs chewed almost all my remotes). How can I install Stock Rom (version 10E) after installing a custom ROM (which was great by the way) ?
Other Questions:
1) CN Mod included good themes and settings. How can i integrate those things that i liked ?
2) Is there any recovery mode (like HTC One X+...... CWM or TWRP) for D838 ?
3) Are there any upcoming features for the LG G P'ro 2 ?
4) Is there an International version of the CN Mod ?
TekCafe V1 works amazing.... No bloatware....Superb integration....and nice customization....(exactly as required)....only thing was that the calls kept dropping... I'm a new member so couldn't post on the Devolepment forum....or I would have given a good review about the TekCafe V1 ROM.
Anyways, below are the details that are important, please let me know in case any other details are required. How can I install Stock Rom (version 10E) after installing a custom ROM (which was great by the way) ?

SOLVED
Well, solved the problem.
First tried the tot method. It did not work.
Then downloaded kdz file for the 10a and using LG Flash tool (for kdz) finally after 2 attempts succeeded in installing stock unrooted firmware.
Re-rooted using towelroot apk (worked flawlessly)
And back to TekCafe V1.
Let me know know if anyone facing the same issue. I can help

Which ROM should I flash?

Hey Guys, I have been strolling through different ROMs for GT 18262, but i dont know if they are totally stable or not, so i thought i would create this thread where all this info could be there.
I wnat to know whether there is a rom which fullfills this requirements:
1. Stable
2. Everything works including Camera.
3. Support for swap.
4. Possibly a higher Android Version than stock rom and not just themed.
Maybe I am asking too much, but i have Cosmic Rom with its final version flashed but i have this problem that the ROM would just stop responding and even after restarting i cant even unlock screen cause possible screen wouldn't respond. I tried many others like Monster Rom build 3, but the microphone didnt work when calling but worked on WhatsApp Call(lol). So please help me

M using cm11....and its best stable and customized rom ...u can later change the theme to lollipop and thats really good......imrunning this rom from over 5 months and have not a found a single bug

I already tried it, but apps like Gmail would crash when i open any email or even opinion rewards would just force close itself. Even some parts of Hike Messenger dont seems to work on it.

Any developer thinking to port Oreo Go Edition for this device! it will be a big help for this device.

It has some bugs like when I played COC it give me some problem and shutter lags

Can some developers of this Device can come together and put forward a ROM which has most of things stable, uses latests Oreo GO edition will be a last salute for this Samsung Device. If someone can guide me in porting or building rom, I am ready to do it.

LG G6 Camera app not working

i am having a problem on my lg g6 h872. The camera app is not working after going from custom rom to the stock rom oreo. It was working fine last month when i went from custom rom to the stock rom. This happened when i installed Android 10 Havoc os. and now whenever i flash the stock rom the camera sensor or app idk does not work.
Please need immediate help on this problem.
