Hey guys
I'm currently experimenting with my htc and an Soundmate audio reciever to get an optical audio signal that a can connect to my audio processor I have installed in my car.
I'm using the allshare app to get the audiostream over airplay to the soundmate reciever.
It works well and I'm pleased with the solution.
But I have one question thou..
Does anyone know if the signal is transmitted before being encoded in the phones Dac or if it takes the bitstream after and sends it over the airplay?
Sorry for my bad English but I hope you understand my question
Regards
Joakim

Hello again.
There was no need to start another thread in this forum after your initial Assist post at http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/xda-assist/digital-audio-airplay-allstream-t3195003. We cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist but I see that you have already reposted in the correct HTC One forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/accessories/digital-audio-airplay-allstream-t3195106 where members familiar with your device might be able to advise you. Please be patient and give the experts plenty of time to respond.
Good luck!

So you can ask about this in this dedicated help thread in your device section,

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Your English is great for me, I just haven't used allshare so the concepts are a bit hard to grapple.
Please go ahead an create an account, so you can post in other forums. From there, you can ask your question in the > HTC One (M7) > One (M7) Accessories > Samsung allshare cast dongle thread (if I understand correctly).
Hope this helps, and good luck!
Thanks for trying to help.
I think my previous post was missing some valuable info
I might mention that with allshare I mean an app from the playstore that simulates/converts to "airplay language" so it is possible to connect and stream from your Android unit to Apple airplay devices.
In other words not samsung allshare, allthoug it's similar technologys and I understand the mix up; )
Thanks anyway

Hello
I'm having a problem with my galaxy A8 international variant code SM-A800F
The problem is primarily in the headphone jack and it's primarily an audio statics, I hear some hissing and audio statics from time to time, what makes it wired is that it's only showing up in headphones with built-in mic, I tried an old apple headphones without a mic and there was no problem, the problem appear in low tones when I hit sometime the touch screen and the touch screen gives the sound I hear some statics, when I play a song that is low in tone I hear the statics as well, what makes it also weird is that the statics and the hissing sound is reduced when I rise up the volume above the level that the phone advice me not to pass it, if I open adaptive sound feature and open personalize and listen to the right side I will hear the statics in the left side and vis-versa so what's the problem?
Is it hardware or software ? The majority of the phone dealers and equipments owners who fix phones told me it's a software problem
I love the phone but this is a deal breaker to me
But what do you see is it a software or hardware problem ?
If it was a software, which one should I install that could fix it, I can't root or update the OS through Odin, as no software is available for the SM-A800F international version of the Galaxy A8
Thanks.

Hello and thank you for using XDA Assist.
I'm sorry to hear about your trouble. Hi, i recently got a pair of samsung earbuds (the ones with the volume and mic controls) and I had an idea. I figured since they have microphones on the actual earbud themselves, would there be a way to desighn an android apk that could turn them into noise cancelling earbuds? If anyone knows of a way do do this, please let me know. Thank you all.

Hey guys,
I just bought the IMACWEAR SPARTA M7 smart watch. It runs android 4.4.2.
There is a critical problem that makes me not being able to use it.
The bluetooth call audio isn't sounding at all. Bluetooth media sounds great. Only the call sound is lacking.
I headset I was trying to opreate is JAWBONE ERA HD bluetooth headset.
I tried two other b.t devices and they work well but their sound quality isn't good enough.
The JAWBONE ERA headset is working well on couple different devices.
I tried asking my quastion on imacwear m7 thread but no answer.
I believe the problem is in the android 4.4.2 system. maybe something with b.t drivers.
Is there a forum that matches my problem?
If not, I'll need a developer to address my problem and fix it. i'm willing to pay for the service.
Appreciate any help...
Thanks.
Moshe.
