use xposed additions, it's not triggering the camera when you used the power button, but it'll took some try to unlock the device itself, it's your choice though

How is the overall feeling? Does it lag? I have tried cm12. 1 and it lagged a bit sometimes...

a little bit laggy, it's all the same for our phone, just keep the gorvernor ondemand and add seeder on top of it, it'll be alright for some time.

Why is it laggy? Is it because it is still not optimized? It shouldn't lag on stock Android with a 1.7ghz cpu

from the three githubs links I don't see any added value from CM12.1. Some code repos are missing ?
It is a CM12.1 fork which integrates SlimROM features ?

Downloading > flashing > stable. :good:
Just bugs:
1. I don't like head up notification. So i disable this function.
But still show up the "head up notification".
(solved: i turn off & turn on again, never show up).
2. When i pull down notification, i touch the setting icon,
is Vibrating. (i dont know this bug or feature on this rom).
I have disable all vibrate setting. Still vibrating.
3. My Internet connection is "laggy". This just me or anyone have this problem???.
(solved: i choose another APN setting).
Btw, thanks for fastest, smooth & stable rom.

How is the camera?
Is this a Official ROM?

I don't know, but cm12.1 is still a bit laggy with our phone sometimes, should check another thread though, maybe it's not optimized yet
edit: some mi4i device is okay with 12.1 you should try it yourself it could be my device is a bit laggy with it.

the lagging is caused by our snapdragon 615. it heats too fast and then gets throttled to 1.1 GHZ and 2 big cores are shut down.

Not really, I'm guessing it's not optimized. My CPU didn't overheat(while using the basic functions of the phone) and it still lagged a bit. Just browsing through the settings menu and stuff like that does not trigger throttling as far as I know and there is still lag. Xiaomi is just doing a bad job and since cm roms are based on miui I'm guessing they are suffering from it..on stock miui the CPU does not go lower than 960mhz which is ridiculous lol
Btw the throttling happens when it reaches 50 Celsius right? Isn't the CPU supposed to be able to handle that temperature?

Yes and my phone reaches 50°C easily. Thats the reason i use a modified thermal engine which does not throttle at 50°C.
The only thing annoying me is that scrolling is lagging everytime. I'm thinking of selling this phone

Nope, it's not the 615.
Moto X play uses the same CPU / GPU / Chipset as Mi 4i, but it doesn't heat up at all.

I would first like to say tht this is custom firmwre, your warranty is now void, also please do not blame me if ur phone dies, makes u late for work, or pocket dials ur significant other while ur with ur other significant other... You are fully aware of what can happen by flashing ur device so, make sure u are one either CWMv6.0.3.6 or TWRPv2.6.1.0+, now enough said let's do it...
1) Download ROM and place in ROOT of storage where u have access...
2) Full wipe is required, data, system, dalvik cache, and cache 3x each (3x is a persomal preference), if u want to dirty flash updates please do not complain to me about issues as i have stated the obvious about flashing gapps over gapps...
3) Flash ROM, DO NOT FLASH GAPPS, gapps are included in build and will cause severe lag/RR/FC's if flashed on top
4) Reboot ROM and let sit 5-10 min BEFORE setting up, as to let things settle (not letting her settle will cause issues and laggyness)
5) Now that she's sat for a min, set ROM up and follow with 1 more reboot, or reboot and then setup..(I always setup then reboot)
6) ENJOY PRO-bam ROM, this thing is fun, so many options and settings, how can u not love it???
DO NOT FLASH GAPPS, THEY ARE INCLUDED IN BUILDProBam v4.5 Android Version 4.3.1 Skyrocket

Is the email app fixed in this? When I was using PAC, some apps would open in Tablet mode and the email app was messed up when you opened it up to set it up. I did make sure Phone mode was selected and the DPI was the stock 240, but it didn't work. Thanks.
Sweet rom. Thanks Kiltnar .

That was the fix for it when it was in the testing phase. It should be the fix. I think other ROMs that enables PIE may have that inherent problem

That is all I did here to when I was setting it up. I couldn't press the bottom of the screen from the homescreen. Pie kept popping up. I went into settings to turn it off and it was already off so I turned it on then back off. It worked for me. Everything works great now.

No not a bad download. That's just the way it is. Small price to pay for an excellent ROM. Keep an eye on this @Kiltnar fella. He's going places.

Yep. The default is on even when it says off. For easier setup try adding a little bit of down swiping when pressing the lower keyboard. This was the easiest way to get thru setup for me. As always YMMV. Your mileage may vary.

Lol, That happens. XD. I hope you guys enjoy this one. This is compiled with Linaro. It's been super solid for me the last couple of days. If it starts lagging or anything a quick reboot fixed this, also if the home screen doesn't display your apps just hit the icon for the app drawer, they're there just not drawn. Seems to happen after a intensive app has been running, or leaving an app open for a long time while the phone is asleep.
Hope you guys enjoy, remember to rate the thread.
Have fun!

A very Nice ROM. I have been rocking it with android 4.4 aka Kitkat launcher. Solid.
don't know if it's in the ROM or not, but I can't find CM/Power toggles.

Awesome ROM. Thanks so much for this.
Was using CM 10.2 but I missed the features of PA and AOKP. Nothing against PAC or its devs but it just didn't feel that solid to me.
This ROM is great. Please don't abandon and I look forward to all future updates
Great job!
Any ideas if the locked screen notification works? If so, how can we enable it?

I do not have this device so I have not tested this build, there is a chance that you will get sent to fastboot, if you are not comfortable getting into recovery manually please do not try this until someone has been able to confirm. If it does not boot, I have a way to fix the build.
Please download a kernel just in case, this will allow you to boot. If this happens please let me know and I will fix it and re-upload.
Thanks!

That it fails to flash. I restored back to stock so I don't remember the exact response, but it said error flashing due to it being the wrong version. (had this error once when I accidently flashed a Rom for the international g2 instead of the d800.)
Is everyone having issues with this not booting? If so I have a pretty simple/fast fix we can test.

I haven't had anyone able to test with me so I'm not sure exactly. I have things I can do to fix it but I need someone to test, I have the Verizon version. I figured most of you guys and gals would be messing with Stock KitKat, if you can't tell I'm jealous.

I think everyone is a little gun shy after a few scary moments of boot looping and recovery issues with G2. It seems like either D800 flashes good or you end up searching xda for help on getting back to stock. Or worse, you end up in adb land. I know I'm cautious after the first OTA sneaked through without permission and almost ruined my phone, thankfully I had TWRP, figured out adb, and there were some bad ass devs who saved the day. I am definitely not taking any risk.

G2 is beast of a phone, and Liquidsmooth "will eventually" be a hell of ROM for the G2, just not yet. Keep an eye on rooting and recoveries for the newer firmwares though, those not quite cracked yet.

I love my G2, it is hands down the fastest phone I have used and the battery on it is amazing, I don't have to worry about it if I miss skipping it at night. If you can stand to wait, HTC is going to be announcing the new One next month, might be interesting to see what they have.
Don't get me wrong, the G2 is awesome and I hope LG fixes some of the issues I have with it when they release the G3.
No, I have not forgotten about you all, I was waiting for a feature to be released so I could make a new build, I am building now, if all goes well I should have dr87 and Furnace versions of LS for you all later today/tomorrow morning. See below for the included updates/changes!
**3/4**
Liquid Updates:
Slim's Recents
Fixes for native screen recorder
More multi-core boot optimization
Possible fix for poor speaker quality
Bump in speaker volume
Reduce volume in call
Add more steps for in-call volume
Edit: I have a Hangout that I am using if you would like instant access to stuff or to me, just add me on G+ or send me a message and I will add you. Just click my name and it has my G+ info. If you would like to test builds for me, let me know and there is a separate group for that.
OP is updated! There are downloads for dr87 and Furnace Kernels.

I have been building this rom for myself for a while now. It is light rom based on CM, with great battery life and best speed. Unique thing about the rom is that although CM based, it supports layers. Enjoy!
PS Thanks to @Spinvis for reminding me: this build is very minimal, it does not include MMS/Calendar/Camera/Browser/Gallery apps etc. It is left to you to install your favourite manually or via Gapps package.
Edit: I have included Camera app, as I like the simplicity of stock camera and can not find something as simple to use as an alternative.
First
Congrats, will try asap
Encho, you're the greatest for bringing this to our Note 3, I've been running this ROM for a couple of days now, and I must say, i like it even better than Euphoria, it's been running like a train. Full default settings except for some dark layer themes.
Just a quick note to people willing to try this, it is very minimal, so be sure to flash stock Gapps if you want a camera, clock, browser, calendar, gallery, etc... Else you'll be in for a surprise! Unless you use third party apps for the aforementioned things, standard it comes with (almost) no apps, it's true to it's own name. I suggest OpenGapps, the aroma installer, so you can choose what you want and what not.
Thanks again encho, for all your dedication and work to bring us some great overlooked ROMs to our Note 3. It's much appreciated.
I might try this ROM Because I'm only able to get 3hours SOT on other ROMS so this might be good
lets me try this.
New ROM, yess!

@encho, you are awesome!
I believe Minimal will be my new daily driver. Will keep you posted.
Zillion thanks....
Thanks for making this amazing rom! Screenshots aren't showing in the OP post.

This rom doesn't have lockscreen tweaks, where this setting is supposed to go. I will see if it can be enabled by default, but no promises.
New build is uploaded, including kernel tweaks. Adreno idler fully enabled and updated. Bluetooth drivers up to date. Now, as I mentioned in 3rd post, only difference from the original is inclusion of camera app. This build has Snap camera for testing purposes; let me know what you think - keep it minimal?

That's it. No more versions of CM13 based ROMs from me. Those are the best ROMs based on CM13 in my opinion: Resurrection Remix, Bliss, Temasek's CM13 builds, BeanStalk, AICP and PAC ROM (in future, hopefully). You can bring other ROMs based on CM13 (and I encourage you to do it). You can send me PM if you want to bring new ROMs based on CM13, help me to update existing ROMs (or help me to build AOSP branches and kernels for tate). I've got only 2 cores with 4GB of RAM. I'll bring updates like once in 2-3 month (for each ROM).
You are doing a great job. Thank you for that
Do not want to bother you or any other dev but I really hope someone will fix the camera issue very soon...

Yes, I want it either. But I hope to bring AOSP and then ROMs based on AOSP first. A new kernel is needed. Then I'll try to finally fix the camera issue. So, please, be patient.

transi brought the 3.0.101+ kernel over to the kindles (along with some other tweaks), and I'm not sure which one's responsible for the camera crash, but it's definitely related to those commits. I'm compiling against a fork of the repos prior to those edits, and the resulting builds seem to have a functional camera.

I can't build AOSP with transi's kernel. It says "can't compile SGX Module" or something like that. Samsung Tuna (ti omap4460) has exactly the same SGX Module strings and it works. There are a lot of similarities between tate's and tuna's branches, by the way. Check out this link. I didn't try to use Hashcode's kernel though. Anyway, I'll try everything possible to build the right kernel and finally get a flashable zip. And only then I'll try to fix CM.
@alexander_32: I'm using your plain cm13 build and everything is fine aside from the boot time taking ~10min each time coming from complete power off. Do your builds of cm13 rom variants have the same issue? I know this has been a common reported issue since transi switched to the new kernel, so I'm guessing it is to blame for this as well. Building a better kernel definitely seems to be the priority right now.

All my CM13 builds use transi1's github repos. Bliss ROM as well. As you can see, unfortunately, he has only one type of CM13 branches (cm-13.0), with no modes. If there were branches which he used to build AICP (separately), we could easily figure out what causes camera issue (3 party camera app works on AICP). But it is what it is, there is only CM13 source (which is stuck at the moment) and transi1 is not very responsive.
I assume, it would be better to get a new kernel and get rid of -common folders (simplify the code).
I'm liking this rom so far. It seems to use less ram, and I don't have to do any tweaking to get it to run fast. Nice job!!

I agree with this statement. This is the best rom I've used so far on the tate. I still think bumping the max cpu freq to 1500mhz (using conveniently built-in kernel aduitor in this rom) is worthwhile, but aside from that, it's very fast out of the box.
Had been running 4.4 Carbon for the last long while, but will give this a try. Basically lust looking for somewhat decent experience/smoothness from these aging Kindles. 5.1 didnt run great on my Kindle, so time to try 6 :fingers-crossed:
Seems rather responsive!
Thought I was having play back issues for mp4s but seems ok now.
**Changing interactive's tuneables to jump quicker to 1200 & 1500 also seems to help a bit

After using BeanStalk (with kernel from RR 5.6.5) for a week, I have decided to stick to it. Thank you guys @vasolini , @r3t3ch for your positive responses. You pushed me to try it and I appreciate it. I really like what I see, no random reboots, it just does what I need to do and it does it very well. I don't know if it's appropriate to change status to stable, but it's reliable enough for sure.
Same here. I am keeping this one on the kindle fire. It works the best so far.

It doesn't have the delayed boot time of stock cm13 either and it runs as quick as you'd expect from a 2012 tablet. You should consider building it for jem as well so more people can get a chance to try it.

I don't have jem, so I can't test it, plus I only got 2 cores with 4 GB of RAM (it takes a lot of time). Maybe today I'll be lucky enough to bring AOSP for tate (I've got 2 flashable zips, but haven't tested it yet)...
It works, but the Boot Time is very long, up to 3 minutes. But maybe its my fault first there was CM 11 installed.
And the status bar is to small. But it runs fast and it works for me. I only use it for chromecast.

So tried it 20x back and forth from ? not 1 glitch as yet, like you say it tends to get worse with time. No black screen either. I just wiped system and caches, flashed ROM, banks gapps and magisk didn't loose any settings. Maybe removing some of the "lineage bloatware" helps.

Could do with someone else trying this other than me, fingerprint sensor seems fast maybe we have our game changer

wow.thanks viper. i remember during my htc one i used to like this OS and now i have it in lithium. thanks a lot.
Wow I am trying now, I have to say is really great, I was trying some roms ... RR with/without DX, AICP, Lineage, Mokee, Dirty Unicorns. The MIUIs Based : Epic and Stock Roms too.
AICP and RR are my favorites.
Maybe is early to say that but... I guess this is THE ROM for my Mi Mix. Things I like (less important to more important):
+ Has a double tap on Home Screen to sleep screen, I really love this, because then I don't need Pattern/PIN to unlock the phone.
+ Pretty easy to change Notification background color, no need substratum for it.
+ The default drawer surprised me. Not only dots on icon when you have notifications, you can see the notifications using 3D touch.
+ Fast like any other roms that I tested before
+ Excellent battery life, just like AICP.
++ Is the fastest Fingerprint unlocking that I have tested, I dare to say, like the MIUI Roms.
++ No problems with proximity sensor or screen off when phone Calling.
There are simple things that could be better :
- Why double tap on home screen to lock the phone, stop working when I enable any other app in accessibility?
- Triple Finger to screen shot, always scroll the current Screen, instead stay static while screen shooting. That happens also in other Roms.
I'll continue testing, excellent work, I really like this rom, keep the good work.
PS. Sorry about my terrible English grammar and spelling.
--Update on my usage.
Excellent battery life, 7 hours SOT. Today I had about 12 phone calls. I had 1 call, where the phone calling was strange: the screen says "dialing" but the people in the other side, told that I can't hear them, but they do, looks like the phone screen dialing is not OK. The fingerprint sensor is equal or faster than MIUI Stock or Epic ROM, that's nice.
By the way, some of you has the issue with the double tap on Home Screen to turn the screen off and accessibility access to third party apps?

All latest version both rom and kernel, but u must uninstall magisk from kernel and using kernel adiutor
I realized in this rom no native read mode and fingerprint mod for lock devices, can developer add in this ROM too?
Edit this fp can solved with epic FP Mod
The disadvantages for this rom is ram management, more I use my devices more little ram can be claimed, 3GB from fresh restart and 1GB after 1 day use so need restart everyday
Thanks
So, after almost 6 days of testing this is what I have observed about this Rom.
Pro:
- battery life is on bar with other AOSP Rom. Not a big difference.
- Stable. Could be used as daily driver.
- fingerprint sensor is faster than other Rom but, only while the screen is On. If it's off then it's slow like other Rom.
Cons :
- Proximity sensor still ****s. Never worked for me.
- RAM management is a bit weird. Never used a ROM that uses as much RAM.
- I had one random reboot. Since then it seems very smooth.
I think I will continue on trying different Roms until I find a good one.
